I went last week around 9:10pm and there was a long line inside, but it went by quickly. I was able to get my ice cream within 15 minutes. The person serving me was friendly and helpful. I got a strawberry blonde, but replaced the strawberry ice cream with banana ice cream. The transaction went smoothly and I was out the door. The interior was small, but roomy. I only felt cramped in the line, but when I ordered there was room. Overall I would come back the next time I go to Disneyland! read more

I went to cold stone last night around 9:30 pm. There was a long line, but it moved pretty quickly with the 4 boys who were working. I have to say, I was extremely impressed with how these guys handled the rush. People kept coming in until closing. Despite that, the boys remained calm, worked quickly, were friendly, had positive attitudes, repeated orders, asked if we needed bags and lids, were attentive. Upon walking in, prepare to wait. Wait isn't too bad, it'll give you time to check out their extensive menu with combinations that will satisfy your sweet tooth. You can combine any flavors and add-ons you want or you can pick from their curated menu. Anything from strawberry cheesecake to coffee with almonds and chocolate . You can watch as they smash and chop your ice cream into one giant ball of deliciousness . Service was fast and friendly and place was pretty clean too. Price is a bit high for ice cream but it's across the street from Disneyland , so don't be surprised when a small is $9. For $9.20 (without tax) for a SMALL it's totally NOT WORTH IT. To charge that much and be smaller than my palm is RIDICULOUS. Sure it tasted good so my complaint is not based on taste, just the price. I am 5'1 and just look at how small it is, I really thought I got the wrong order. read more

Can't go wrong with Cold Stone Creamery, whether you're visiting the one in your neighborhood back home or the one across from the Disneyland entrance, like we did yesterday. It was our last afternoon in the park and we were heading back - hot and tired - to our hotel to pack, check out, and drive the 400 miles back to the Bay Area. Cold Stone was just what we needed! The missus ordered a mint mint chocolate chocolate chip ice cream with Heath Bar (delish!), our younger daughter a chocolate devotion ice cream with m&m's and gummies, our older daughter a coffee shake and I a blueberry banana smoothie. I checked in on Yelp and cashed in the 10% discount, then promptly added that amount to the servers tip (she was delighted). The treats were enjoyed by us all, first in the outdoor seating area, and then as we slowly walked back to our hotel. Very rude service they kept hanging up when I was trying to place an order for a cake for my ten year old daughter.

I feel like I got price gouged at this coldstone. I asked for a special sundae that was displayed that was $8.50 but asked if they can mix it together. They said yes. I get to the register and they charged $11.50 because they said it was no longer considered a sundae. They should've said "yes we can mix, but it'll be $3 extra" when I asked. But by the time I'm at the register it's too late and I'm mad that I'm paying so much extra without my knowing of this price difference. The employees need to do better and inform people of price changes because all they did was mix the ingredients and all of a sudden it's $3 more (35% increase in price). If I knew, I'd have mixed it myself for free. Not worth it. read more

It was such a hot day and coming out of the park, we were craving something cold and sweet. Cold Stone is right across from the entrance into the parks so it was an easy enough decision to decide to stop by here. There was no one else in the store when we arrived so we were able to place and get our orders quickly. I decided to get a milk & oreo milkshake while my husband got a pineapple blueberry smoothie. Before making my shake, the guy asked me if I wanted actually cookies n cream ice cream or just sweet cream with oreos and advised that the latter would not be as sweet. This was perfect for me as I don't like thinks overly sweet and I'm glad he gave me this option. Our drinks came out shortly after. My husband enjoyed his smoothie a lot and I also enjoyed the flavors of my shake, although it was a little too milky for my liking. I like when shakes are a little thicker and creamy, and unfortunately this was not that. Our drinks certainly helped us to cool off from the Anaheim heat though! read more

Prominent sign outside the store claiming there is a "$1 Soda Special". After leaving Disneyland, we swung in for the deal. When we got to the register, they rang the drinks up at full price. When we mentioned the sign they had no idea what we were talking about. As we declined to make the purchase since it wasn't a deal and overpriced compared to the convenience stores next door the cashier said "Oh yeah, I know what you are talking about now, but you need to buy a large ice cream." I don't mind terms and conditions but it just seemed shady. read more

I love that I get an up-close and personal view of the Disneyland Resort Entrance Plaza, and the people outside it trying to sell Diney-manufactured products. The ice cream itself it quite enticing. If you want my favorite ice cream flavor and toppings, get cotton candy, with gummy bears, chocolate chips, and marshmallows. Overall, great experience. read more

This was my first time here I was excited to try but actually didn't enjoy my ice cream at all . Went about like at 830 The cashier didn't know much English , but only that but she was very very rude ! My sister wanted recess and she got cookies instead , and when my mom told her it was wrong she said she repeated the order and my mom had said it was fine . You grab the ice scooping girl's attention and order. I don't know whether if they had a bathroom or not. Small seating area outside of cash register area (at the end of the shop). Menu: Very overwhelming - too many choices, too many options. Unless your friends know what it is, very confusing. These were what I saw, but maybe more...: 1) You can make your own scoop (s) from the ice cream display. 2) They have lots of "Signature creations" (they set the ice cream & toppings for you). You pick the combo name and size. 3) Hot menu - ice cream with churos etc. 4) Cookie ice cream sandwich - $3.50 each 5) Drinks etc. Size: Small size is very small like the one at "Bi-Rite" in SF or kid's size at "Baskin Robin's". Whopping $6 for the small, $6.50 for medium etc. Service: Very friendly. They'll sing a song for you when you give them tips. I'm glad I don't need to work there... - Gluttony Expedition - Strawberry Banana Rendezvous: Mmm... The picture on the menu looked good, but its ice cream was very melting. I think the flavor combinations were good. Good flavors with nice chunks of graham crackers, white chocolate chips were too much for me. But the amount and quality you get for $6 small size is a little bit overpriced. - Conqueror's Deduction - I think it's an interesting concept, but the half melting ice cream from the beginning isn't for me. $6 for the amount and quality isn't so justifiable to me. As we were ordering - we were the only customers @ 4:45pm in the shop, staff of three. One staff she (Blondie) 5' 8" tall decided she needed to Windex the counter/display - obvious she rather be at the Magic Kingdom than at Cold Stone Creamery. The guy helping us placed our cups of ice cream in the path of her Windexing. The portions were tiny, ice cream did not even crack the top of the cups. Cold stone is a go to anytime, this one is right across the street from Disneyland. It's hit or miss depending on the service you get. Some times we visit and it's great everyone's energy feels good positive but then other times you can just tell they don't wanna be there and it's understandable they have to help so many people everyday because it's right across the street from the park. The ice cream is rich creamy everything you expect from ice cream then they use all the best tasting toppings and you can't go wrong with all that. I usually just get it in a cup larger and the one I order because it helps so it doesn't melt everywhere and they are all pretty nice about that. It's good ice cream but I believe even the prices are a little more expensive than other ones around. I think let me know if I am wrong. read more

Ok, it's Cold Stone, they aren't cheap...the ice cream is the real deal and made on property -- maybe this isn't something to get everytime out -- but for a special occasion--I don't know LIKE GOING TO DISNEYLAND?!?! yeah, it's all good. We went at 820 pm, and was going to go to the observation deck at the hotel (Park Vue, where it's attached) to watch the fireworks...but as we were getting our ice cream it started... I got a cheesecake with vanilla wafer, my son got cotton candy with m&m's my daughter got mint with marshmallows and my husband got....I can't remember lol...anyhow we went outside to Cold Stone's tables and watched the fireworks. Yeah the ice cream is good but the service blows. The workers could care less if the toppings are nicely chopped into the ice cream. They'll just throw in a browny and leave the lump in the f-ing middle of the ice cream ball. Especially if a high school kid with attitude is serving the cup, which made us feel so uncomfortable. Did I mention the kid had so much attitude? He also had to ask me 3 times what toppings I wanted after I had repeated what i wanted 2 times. I just wanted Oreos and brownies...lol. This is my 1st 2 star review. It is a review of Cold Stone creamery as a whole chain and a review of this individual location. First and foremost, yes they have good icecream. No duh. But coldstone is extremely overpriced. A small milk shake is $6. HA! 1.5 scoops of icecream and a 1/2 cup milk. I bought 4 different sized milkshakes with a total tab of $30. What a joke. The prices of their icecream are insulting. Service at this shop was awful. It was 10:45pm and they close at 11pm. They ignored me for a very long time hoping I would leave. Like come on your an icecream place not a full service restaraunt. Gimme a scoop and let me go. Close down procedures maybe take you 15mins. I know this for a fact. After they finally attended to me they shut the lights off 5 minutes early as we were ordering and then over charged us. Awful service. They were more concerned about shutting down early then helping me. Overpriced. Aloof. Minimal. These are the 3 words to describe Cold Stone Creamery. Never will I visit again read more
