I had a bit of a sweet tooth while driving along Commonwealth when all of a sudden a hot pink storefront caught my attention, I stopped impulsively to see if the bakery can satisfy my craving. Let me tell you, the assortment of cupcakes they have are so vast, the worker is patient and kind as she lets me look at the different flavors! There were other desserts there too such as ice cream and other pastries that were beautifully displayed. They also do wedding cakes and if pattys was an option on your radar, guests will be so impressed by the quality and taste of the cake itself

It's always a pleasure. Patty's is my go to bakery for desserts and cupcakes. The place is clean and tidy quality is phenomenal. They have gluten-free and vegan options. I'm truly never disappointed. I usually order online because there are rewards you can earn, a create-account option, and two free cupcakes on your birthday. Cupcakes are made to frost delicious flavors. Worth the visit you won't leave empty handed. Con: the Service can be a bit more friendlier I always feel over hyped and the employees are the complete opposite. *Bag of cakes is chef kiss! Ask for the side of whipped topping.

I was looking for a spot that makes large cookie cakes in Fullerton and I found the spot! Patty's Cakes makes delicious cookie cakes that wasn't too sweet, lasts a few days, and is very fresh! The birthday decor was super cute as well. Staff were super friendly, nice, and genuinely wanted to see how you liked the design. I was honestly shocked at how good the cookie was since most people get cakes from here.

Patty's Cakes came highly recommended by our venue and we are so happy we went with them! We loved the sampling experience where we were able to get creative and ultimately decided on a lemon cake with Bavarian cream and blueberry filling. Delivery went flawlessly and was on time, and our wedding cake was just as we had imagined!

Cupcakes are wonderful! Service meh. I seriously was on a chocolate hunt. I LOVEEEEE their chocolate with chocolate fudge cupcake is the best fudgest chocolate for a cupcake. I really love their red velvet and chocolate caramel salty cupcakes. Honestly a lot of their flavors you can't go wrong. What can go wrong would be the service. I wish they were a bit friendlier. The several times I've been here it's been meh. I keep coming back cause their products are good tho.

We ordered our wedding cakes and mini cupcakes from Patty's cakes and had a great experience! Upon entering their shop for our tasting, we were impressed by not only their cakes, but their professionalism in guiding us with the best flavor combinations and the size of our cake for the guest count and our budget. We really enjoyed the tasting experience where we got to sample different cakes with fillings of our choice. We also loved how cute the S'mores mini cupcakes turned out! When we later decided we no longer wanted mini cookies that originally was on the contract, Patty's was understanding and removed the items from our invoice with no issues - truly a testament to how professional and easy to work with they are! Overall, the process was seamless and we would definitely recommend Patty's cakes to other couples!

I absolutely HATE having to write this, but bear with me. I have to give a disclaimer first: the staff, service and quality of even the most 99% of the ingredients is top notch. I've been buying cupcakes here for years and to say they are BEYOND fantastic is an understatement. They have the clientele they have and the trust of a communtiy for a reason and when it comes to their cupcakes, I will always be their #1 fan. Sadly, I cant say the same about their custom cakes. A few weeks ago, I had a cake made for a bday party I was attending and I ordered a simple vanilla cake with strawberry filling cake. The birthday girl requested her cake was white and pink. The piping was ok I guess. But thats really neither here nor there (I was expecting a more vintage looking piping, but I guess I should've asked for it‍) . My niece went with me to pick up this cake and she also agreed it was beautiful. When it was finally time to cut the cake, i was so excited for everybody to see it cause it was so pretty. We added a few decorative flowers cause my Niece had saved a cake topper, it looked so becautiful. But when the time came to cut it, the first thing I noticed was that the frosting color was an absolute mess to work with cause it literally stained EVERYTHING. From plates to napkins the pink colors they used were so hard to wash off. It stained my shirt, and the picture im attaching is from the next morning, after I had washed my hads many times. My finger was still stained. Nevertheless we cut the cake, kids ate it but even my Niece commented that the frosting tasted funny. And as soon as I tried it I agreed. The food color used to give the frosting this color made it taste absolutely artificial. I have bought cakes at the supermarket for a fraction of what I paid for this that have tasted way better and less artificial. Thats the issue. Nobody at home ate the frosting cause everybody agreed it tasted very strange. And look, Im not a baker. I have seen cakes being made, I kinda know what kind of food colorings they use at a pro level, but I didnt imagine it would ruin the taste so badly. Cause it absolutely did. The filling was great, the white frosting was ok, but the taste messed up my experience. And again, the quality is there, I would just strongly suggest they do a quality check on their finished products or collect feedback from their clients on this. I work in R&D so I know there is a lot of work put into developing a recipe. This in no way tarnishes my love for their cupcakes, which I will continue to promote, buy and support any time I can. I just know for next time not to order any cakes that could potentially have a food color in it.

I discovered Patty's Cakes and desserts while I was scrolling on IG! Oh boy, this place didn't disappoint on my trip to check out their cupcakes! Upon entering the store, a young man, Adonis, greeted me with a smile. I inquired about the different types of cupcakes and the best-selling ones. They also have cakes on display that I want to try in the near future. The location is very easy to find, they may have limited parking at the back of the store but it's located near residential areas so it's easy to find a parking spot in the street. The store is clean, organized, bright, and at the perfect temperature inside. The mini cupcakes I purchased were good! They're fresh, soft, and just enough sweet to satisfy your cravings. This is great for parties, potlucks and simply including it on your next tea party!

Based on other reviews on various sites, we chose Patty's Cakes for my daughter's wedding. The case was so beautiful and it was delicious. We were so glad we chose Patty's Cakes! They were also very professional and easy to work with. The delivery went well. Thank you Patty's Cakes!

The cupcakes are definitely where it's at here. With it's pink exterior beaming in a sea of Fullerton buildings, Patty's Cakes and Desserts stands out basically beaconing you in. It's a cute shop with a little parking lot that gets filled quickly behind it or street spots up for grabs. Inside are some seats if you want to eat your goods there but it seemed like most people grabbed & left. We were warmly greeted, ordered then waited as our cupcakes were hand frosted! Yep, they frost the cupcakes here as ordered so it'll always be a couple minutes for your goodies. It's a quick process though then you're out the door! Prices were completely reasonable. I tried a few different things at the bakery like the Chocolate Chip Cookie (pretty good), the Chocolate Chip Cake Ball (excellent) and the Brownie (disappointedly dry) but as previously mentioned, the cupcakes are what's truly fire here. The cake is so incredibly moist in their cupcakes - it's jaw dropping! The frosting is sweet & sugary but not over-the-top. The two parts together marry in pastry heaven making for a really delicious cupcake. The Chocolate Caramel Salty Cupcake was indulgently perfect. I'll definitely be back to Patty's Cakes for more of their cake-items like the cupcakes and cake balls. Nomzzzzz!

We got 11 dozen mini vegan cupcakes for our engagement party here and they were so delicious and perfect for the party. We had around 55 people and we didn't have a single cupcake left. They were a hit and everyone thought they were delicious. Favorite flavors are s'mores and eclair and we also ordered the strawberry, Oreo, piña colada, and white mini razzle. Wish they were closer to us but worth the drive and so delicious!

The best cupcakes hands down. Incredibly moist, so many fun flavors & the icing is not overwhelming. I love that there is a flavor for almost any mood. I also enjoy that they are essentially made to order. They always come out picture perfect & I have yet to try a flavor I didn't like. My top favorite flavors are the butter pecan, the early riser & the Elvis. These cupcakes make a fun gift for any occasion & are great little treats. Parking is street and a small lot. Customer service is great, they also sell a limited number of Thrifty's ice cream! We've been coming here for years & the quality is always top notch.

We didn't go crazy on the cake design and went with a pretty simple three layer cake. There are so many different combinations of wedding cakes available at Patty's Cakes. We enjoyed the cake tasting where they prepared various cupcake bases, flavors, and frostings for us to mix and match. We ended up going with a three layer cake with the following combinations: vanilla cake with guava and strawberry oreo, strawberry cake with strawberry mousse and strawberry oreo, and vanilla cake with custard and strawberry oreo. We obviously really liked the strawberry oreo. The cake was delivered ahead of time and handled well. And the available ribbon colors also gave it a nice accent pop to our garden theme.

Ask the Community - Patty's Cakes and Desserts

What's the list of cakes and filling? I can't seem to find on your page.

Hi Geri, Thank you for your question.…

Looking to order a cake for about 60 ppl, but I was wondering if you did cake tastings?

Yes, we do offer cake tastings! 🎂 Please copy the link below to explore our options. You can also schedule your tasting appointment directly through our website :)…

    Do you offer nut-free cakes?

Hi, we sure do. For flavors that will work in cakes, reference these cupcakes: https://shop.pattys-cakes.com/collections/cupcakes?filter.p.m.pc-filter.nutfree=Nut-Free&sort_by=manual

Would a individual cupcake box sized 3.5" x3.5" x3.5" with an insert diameter range of 1.8-2.4" fit your regular size cupcakes?

Hi, it would be a very tight fit and hard to get in and out. We offer boxes that are 4x4x4 and recommend a box of that size. We only package cupcakes in our boxes. If you opt for an outside box, you'll need to box them yourself.

If I purchase gluten free cupcakes on a Saturday would they keep well in the fridge until the following Monday?

Hi Nick, they sure would! When ready, place our order online. https://shop.pattys-cakes.com/pages/gluten-free-cupcake-options

Hi can you make a custom cake with the theme of One piece ? Thank you !

Hi Jen, we need more details to determine if we can make that for you. Please make your request here: https://pattys-cakes.com/contact-us?contact=107

Hi is it possible to place an order for 25 mini cupcakes for 11/25 morning? I noticed you are closed on 11/24

Hi, sure! You may place your order here: https://shop.pattys-cakes.com/collections/mini-cupcakes Choose your pickup day and time at checkout. :)

Hi there I wanted to order cupcakes for ~55 people for an event on Sunday but I noticed you are closed on Sundays. Does it count as large enough order for delivery? What are my options?

Hi. Unfortunately 55 does not count, but you can pick them up on Saturday, keep them in the fridge, and they'll be good for your Sunday event.

Do you do dairy and gluten free cakes?

Yes vegan or gluten not both.…

    Do you make Dog cupcakes?

Hi Lisa, Sorry, we do not.

Hello, we are interested in your 2-tiered cake for my sister's baby "boy" shower for about 50 ppl. There are so many flavors to choose from, which is the tastiest and most popular flavor and filling? We may pick this up a day before. Thx

Hi, great question. Each cake will list popular flavors: https://shop.pattys-cakes.com/collections/tiered-cakes Flavors are a preference. Choose which one you like the best.…

Do you offer sugar free/low sugar custom cakes?

Hi, great question. We do not offer sugar free or low sugar cakes.

Hi, what's the current most popular combination flavors for a cake? So many options!

I would say if you are getting cupcakes then Strawberry filling with Cream on top or if you are buying cake then Salted Caramel.

Hi, Do you offer heart shaped 6' two tier cakes?

Hi Jess, sorry, we do not offer heart-shaped cakes. We do have plenty of other cakes available. You may view them here: https://pattys-cakes.com/menu/cakes

Do you offer gluten-dairy-nut free mini cupcakes?

Hi Bravo, we offer gluten-free and nut-free or vegan (dairy-free) and nut-free cupcakes. We do not offer cupcakes that are free of all three.…

Do they have small cakes ready to go? I'd like to pick one up tomorrow!

Yes but I may take some time. I waited about 10-15 minutes once I ordered. Just give your self the time, it's worth it

Hi, I was wondering if you cater and can deliver and set up an assorted dessert bar w/props for an 18th bday and graduation celebrqtion next Sat, 6/4? I live locally ih Fullerton. The party is for about 50 ppl.

Hi Eileen, thank you for reaching out. 50 guests does not meet our minimum for delivery and setup, but you are welcome to order on our website and request delivery to your event. https://shop.pattys-cakes.com/ If you have additional questions,…

    You have vegan options?

Hi Cheryl, yes we do. You may find them here: https://shop.pattys-cakes.com/pages/vegan

Do you do dairy free cake bake goods? Looking for a small cake for my daughter who is allergic to dairy.

Hi Evelyn, yes we do! We have vegan cakes and cupcakes that are dairy-free. You can view and order them here. https://shop.pattys-cakes.com/pages/vegan

I expected it to be overly sweet, but it was much more balanced than I anticipated. I actually ended up liking it more than Starbucks' version because you could still taste the chocolate and graham cracker flavors without it feeling like a sugar overload. I also picked up a few pastries. The S'mores Pastry was my favorite--it had great chocolate flavor, and the little dollop of toasted marshmallow on top was such a fun finishing touch that tied everything together. The only surprise was the Croissant Donut. It has a tangy lemon filling, but that wasn't mentioned in the name, so it definitely caught me off guard. If you're expecting a classic cream or custard filling, just know there's a citrus twist inside. It's not bad by any means, but I wish it had been labeled more clearly so I knew what to expect. Overall, Paris Baguette continues to be one of my favorite bakery chains when I'm craving pastries and specialty drinks. Between the welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, and seasonal menu, it's always worth stopping in to see what's new.

It was amazing the first time I tried it, and somehow it's just as good every single time I go. The cheese foam on top isn't too sweet, salty, or heavy. It's smooth and creamy, but it doesn't overpower the coffee at all. And the cookie that comes with it? Dip it into the cheese foam. So, so good. The coffee itself isn't too sweet or bitter. The latte is just really clean, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Tiramisu coffee can sometimes be way too sweet and heavy, but this one is nothing like that. That's why I always order two. I drink the first one there, nice and slow. A little cookie dipped in the cheese foam, a sip of coffee, another bite, another sip. I mean, I drove all the way from LA to Fullerton. Why would I rush it? And the second one? That one comes back to LA with me. Because I need it for that wonderful 5 Freeway traffic. When traffic starts getting ridiculous and I can feel myself getting annoyed, I take a sip of my Tiramisu Coffee and think, "Okay... it's fine. Just take your time." And suddenly life is a little better. So yes, I always order two. One is for happiness. The other is to keep me from losing my mind on the 5 Freeway. Maybe I'm a little crazy for driving from LA to Fullerton just for a cup of coffee. But honestly, the coffee that keeps making me do that might be even crazier. Do you know how many coffee shops there are in LA? And still, out of every Tiramisu Coffee I've tried, this one is easily my #1. Actually, forget #1. I'm just going to say it. I honestly don't think there's a better Tiramisu Coffee anywhere. Sip & Savor Coffee, please open a location in LA. It would definitely make my life easier because I wouldn't have to drive all the way to Fullerton anymore... But then again, I might miss having my Tiramisu Coffee there to calm me down on the 5 Freeway.
