I have a love hate relationship with this location. My husband and I get ice cream from here often. Sometimes we go in store and sometimes we order online. Almost EVERYTIME we order online they forgot the waffle bowl I order and pay for. Usually, there are so much toppings but not tonight. first, it was the first visit where the ice cream didn't reach the rim all around. Secondly, there were so few mix ins. It wasn't mixed in well, I only got one apple slice that was all stuck together so that I only had apple in one bite. When I got to the center of the cup, there was a huge spot that had no mix ins-that I paid for. I get it was a new employee but this is subpar. Also, when he put the creation into the cup, more than usual was left behind on the counter. Like a bite full, especially since I had so little mix ins even placed into the creation. I often create my own Almond Joy-inspired ice cream, but may sway away on occasion to change it up a bit. Anything with coconut, nuts, chocolate chips, and/or toffee toppings and I'm a Happy Camper. Generally speaking, I am only able to handle your Love It™ 8 oz. portion size. However, I absolutely loved one of your Limited-time Fall flavors, Salted Caramel. Atef is very respectful and provides great customer service. He always makes sure my little ones are happy with their ice cream. The worker wore no gloves, had her grimy little hands right by my ice cream when she was making it. There is a pandemic going on and over thousands of people have died from it. So why is Cold Stones not taking as many pre cautions as they should? Also, when she scooped my cotton candy ice cream, there was some chocolate in the container and for some reason she decided to scoop the chocolate with my cotton candy ice cream. This review is solely for the lone worker there now. A young Caucasian guy.. We just now went on Saturday, April 10th. Its 5:45pm. I unfortunately didn't get the name of the guy. And I should have. It was so so busy and he was the only worker. I don't know how he didn't run out of there. No help for him at all. He was friendly and super hardworking, working as fast as he could. He deserves a raise and/or a promotion. I tipped him 10 bucks and he deserved more. And whoever is in charge should definitely have more people working on a weekend afternoon. read more

I ordered a waffle cone with chocolate devotion in a I like it size and I wanted another scoop of a different flavor lime sherbet. And there was three young ladies working there and they said that it was against company policy for me to go ahead and order two different flavors of ice cream. They stated that we couldn't put it in the same waffle cone. I really believe that any time you walk into a business a customer should walk out satisfied however I wasn't able to get my chocolate devotion and lime sherbet ice cream. So I ended up only ordering the chocolate devotion with a waffle cone. I then leave and I begin to eat my chocolate devotion, come to find out my waffle cone was stale and tasted very old. Me and my boyfriend came in for ice cream on Memorial Day around 6:30-7 and the staff was AWFUL!! There was a line all the way to the door and the kids working there were messing around, yelling at each other, ignoring customers, and eating while taking ice cream orders. We are both bartenders and know how customer service works. It was really sad because the back counter was filthy too where the waffle cones are made. I have never been so grossed out by the filth where food was being made and the way the staff conducted themselves around food products! These young kids who were working were disrespectful and completely unprofessional. I know it's just an ice cream shop, but it was a shit show. It's like we walked into a circus. These employees had no sense of urgency and were just messing around with each other. I normally would never leave a negative review but this was way too bad not to report. I hope they get new staff because they clearly weren't there to work. We kept wondering where a manager or an adult was because these kids conducted themselves poorly. I didn't even ask for a refund, just wanted to let them know. Very rude manager, questioned me when I wasn't looking to get anything out of it. Let me first say this is the most unprofessional and unsanitary Cold Stone I have EVER been too!!!! It's sad to say the OWNER is rude and not practicing any COVID or food service guidelines. As me and my family waited to be helped there were 4-6 people in front of us. I witnessed the owner and female employee handling ice cream and handling money NOT WEARING GLOVES OR WASHING HANDS in between serving MULTIPLE guests. I politely asked the employee which I later found out was the OWNER to put on gloves he told me they do NOT have gloves. I asked him to please wash his hands before handling our ice cream he told me NO! The female employee constantly had to pull up her mask and continuously wiped her hands on her apron. VERY DISGUSTING AND I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED with the customer service and nonchalant attitude of both people especially during this COVID situation. I have worked in food service for over 10 years and there are sanitary and food handling guidelines that are supposed to be followed ESPECIALLY during these times! I really love this location. It is clean and the employees are so sweet to my kids. We love to be served by Madi. The lines can be long.....especially if a movie just gets out, so I am patient as long as people in front of the line don't ask fifty million questions or wait to decide what they want until they get to the front of the line.
