Stopped in to satisfy my pre-movie sweet tooth and desire for "hot fudge", which I was told they did have. When I saw the girl squirting the "hot fudge" out of a plastic container like you would catsup or mustard, I queried what it was....as it certainly wasn't hot. Another young girl said "it's not really hot fudge, but we call it that". Hello....people...that is called "Bait and Switch" and it is illegal.....You can't tell a customer you have hot fudge for their ice cream topping and then substitute some nasty, cold and gritty chocolate syrup of some sort for a quality topping. When I asked why they don't have a normal metal and heated container for the hot fudge as ALL other places do, I just got blank dear-in-the-headlight stares from both of them. Neither would respond or even look me in the eyes after my query was made. Really BAD customer service to go with the Bait & Switch.....Who is managing this operation who thinks it is OK to call their sundaes hot fudge when there is NO hot fudge in the store?? Does the owner know about this or even care? They just lost $500 a year in my business, as I will now be going to Baskin Robbins where they have super yummy and real hot fudge at all times..... read more

Came here with my family from lake Mathews because it said it closes at 11 on Yelp, google and website. I walked up and the doors were locked at 10:02 and the employeees were just in the back with the door locked. Glad I drove half an hour for them to be closed early when even on the door it says they close at 11pm read more

Bought two big tubs of cake batter. Got home and it was not cake batter. But I had kids I needed to feed so I fed them anyway. I called the next day and the guy who answered the phone "Jimmy" I think responds with there's nothing he can do. There's no a manger on duty. I got the feeling that he was feeling like I was trying. To pull a fast one in them. I def am not. All I ever eat at cold stone is cake batter. I know the flavor very well. It 100% was not Cale batter although I tasted a hint of it. I was very annoyed bc the crew made me feel like I was trying to take advantage of the business. I feel very turned off about the way it was handled with a crew. I went into this location of Coldstone Creamery this past Tuesday night. It was pretty busy, but the two girls seemed to make the line go by quickly. I ordered a "Love It" Oreo Overload for me, and a "Love It" Brownie A La Coldstone for my sister. The Oreo Overload was delicious, consisting of the Sweet Cream ice cream, chocolate chips, fudge, and Oreo cookies. Perfect for anyone who enjoys Oreos or cookies and cream ice cream. My sister enjoyed her Brownie A La Coldstone, but found it to be very sweet and didn't even finish the whole thing. The only reason I am giving this place a three stars is because the two girls working that night didn't seem very enthused. Cake batter ice cream with cookie dough chunks FTW!!!! I'm not typically huge on ice cream. In fact I don't really crave it.... Unless its Cold Stones cake batter. There's nothing quite like it. I've tried different ice cream flavors and even different froyo places trying to create that combination of cake batter with cookie dough. They took groups in front of us because they only do groups at a time. There was 8 of us and one person mixing. Going by common sense you help the people who were there first. My first experience and we stopped after seeing a movie at the Edwards theater next door. I had heard of Cold Stone Creamery and always wanted to try it. On the good side were the 2 kids working behind the counter (guy & girl). Very polite, clean cut and did a good show with the ice cream mixing on the frozen stone. We got plenty of the toppings for German Chocolate Cake. On the so-so side was the price ($6 for 1 dish of ice cream) and the base ice cream was good quality, but not deluxe. For the price they should use Dryers quality plus the toppings. It seems the idea behind the stores isn't the ice cream itself, but the multiple combos. It's like Disneyland for ice cream fans! I'll try it again when I'm at that theater, otherwise it's too far. A little expensive for me (if I brought my 4 kids I'd probably need to take out a home equity loan), but a very nice "ice cream experience". read more

Usually I have positive customer service experiences at coldstone but when I went a few days ago the service at this location sucked! The girl who helped us, Kelsey, seemed a little overzealous in taking our order and I felt hurried even though there was no one in line behind us and it was clearly not a busy night. My friend had a stamp card that was eligible for a free ice cream but the girl who helped us said she could not accept it at this location. I went to the outside table and looked at my receipt. He charged me $3.70. Half off $4.60 equals $2.30. I was supposed to get charged $2.30 and NOT $3.70. I was over charged $1.40. BRING YOUR OWN CALCULATOR, these people can't do math! Went it with my family and purchased 6 ice creams (4x like it and 2x love it) and had 3 coupons (2x "2 for $5 like it" and 1x "buy one get one"). Seems pretty simple right? Wrong. Somehow our bill came out to $32. We questioned the cashier and she had to get a calculator and figure it out. This literally took 20 minutes. The cashier was really nice but she just didn't know how to do simple math. In the end she ended up charging us $23 for the lot and my husband and I just accepted this because it was taking so damn long and were fed up with standing there. On the way home as I was looking over the receipt, I calculated that the maximum we should have been charged was $18. Very frustrating when this place is already overpriced. read more
