The rudest employees I have run into , horrible service, melted ice cream that was inedible. This place is a special kind of bad.

This location serves the same awesome ice cream I've experienced at all Cold Stones. The service was friendly and fast, especially considering how mobbed it can get on a Saturday night. Definitely try their Seasonal flavor. On my most recent visit it was dark chocolate Ice Cream with swirls of raspberry sauce. There are three different sizes and all of them are generous. I usually get a medium and hubby gets a large. Check out their signature creations for great mix-in combinations! Very disappointed! They definitely had the B team in tonight. Extremely slow service. No one behind the counter listening to anything the customers were saying. A total Sh*t show. Jasmine was in charge tonight. Finally after 45 grueling minutes of waiting to get served (there were 4 people in line) the one man getting ice cream for the walk in customers made my ice cream. When I went to pay I wanted to use my coupon. They didn't know how to use the coupon so they would not honor it. WTF. I'll just start this by saying, interesting. You tell me what sounds better than a nice pint of ice cream on a hot saturday night with the boys. I really couldn't begin to describe the feeling this place gave me. Don't get me wrong, I love cold stone, but usual location is the address off horizon and horizon. So I assumed it was a beautiful Coldstone employee handbook set standard that I am greeted with a smile and serviced accordingly for the generous tips I've been known to leave. Let me get back on track. We walk in to our favorite sweet treat joint, the mood immediately feels off. We are looked at by what seems to be a dozen employees behind the counter and there is a little line of two people in front of us. The time is 10:35pm and closing occurs at 11:00pm. I get the usual frustrations of the day getting to you and people coming in close to the time you're locking up shop. Try to understand that my service being even decent at best is what keeps the lights on for this fine milk churning establishment. But when an employee comes from behind the counter and is tossing chairs around muttering under his breath that people are retarded for coming in so late. I assure you, my temper starts to be tested. A couple of girls that were clearly a couple of decent looking ladies walk in and the same gentlemen who was released from the ape exhibit and throwing chairs around turns and yells "Hello! Welcome in!" Interesting. We get up to order ice cream and we ask how everyone is doing today and order and get ready to check out. At checkout we ask how the young gentlemen is doing and he says "Fine, we close in 10 minutes." Another key piece of information is that the time reads 10:41pm. So I am not sure if Coldstone hires at a fifth grade math level but that was...interesting. We cracked some jokes and got him to smile and hopefully made him feel a little happier. I've been here a few times and I dont feel that guilty b/c of the sinless sweet cream. I ordered the cookie overload last week and it was about 100 tiny little chocolate chips. yuck. I thought htis was supposed to be oreos?? Nxt time I will ask for OREOS in my Oreo overload.. not chocolate chips. She was so busy complaining about having to do homework when she got out that she wasnt paying any attn. to what she was doing really. Her lil brother was talking to her and relaying messages from their mother who was outside in the car and let's just say learned way more about this lil gir's family life that I needed to. CAKES: My previous experience here was with their cakes. I'd never purchased a cake here so I was super pumped. I even had a coupon for $3 off a cake. Well ... those cakes are huge and it was for Valentines day - choclate strawberry cake. Yum. Looked devine right? Wrong. I ended up buying the lil cake which I couldnt use the coupon for. The lil one was only $5.00 cheaper than the huge one which served about 10x more people than the lil one..But I can;t have that much cake in my freezer, or in my possession.It was gross, It was more chocolate frosting than cake, which was about 1/2'' thick. The regular size cake is like 2" cake. just not worth it. It was all frosting and no sustanance. I recommend the BR cakes over this place anyday! note: you're better off going to yogurt rocks in the galleria, if its w/in hours. if not try making it to u-swirl inside GVR!. I called the Cold Stone Creamery on Sunset in Las Vegas to place an order and was put on hold - I could hear a women's voice "just put her on hold". I waited for over 15 minutes until I thought they must have forgot me so I hung up and called again - I got a busy signal the rest of the evening and could not get through. I tried to place an order before they opened the next day but Cold Stone does not let you place same day orders (yikes). When I called to place the order over the phone shortly after they opened they sounded like they just wanted to push me off the phone. I know we are in the middle of a pandemic but a little courtesy is still appreciated - and if they don't have time to answer the phone then just don't... Also, I tried to place the order through my phone but could not - I could not get to the "place the order" button, it would not light red. Who doesn't love ice cream!?!? I do enjoy Cold Stone Creamery, there is always way to many choices and everything always sounds so good. Why does it have to be so overwhelming.... in a good way! I enjoy their special creation "Mud Pie Mojo" which is coffee ice cream with oreo cookies, peanut butter, roasted almonds and fudge. But I am one of those people that do not love oreo's- so I swap out the oreo's for cherry pie filling..... sooooooooo yummy! I also like the flavors as if I am a five year old lil girl- so I love to choose the cotton candy or bubble gum flavor and mix in marshmallows! This was terrible! I ordered cake batter for my daughter paid $12 plus to get it delivered and it was plain vanilla ice cream... very disappointed! I love Cold Stone and honestly wish they had more locations in town. I always get the coffee lovers and it's heaven in my mouth! So damn DELICIOUS! Surprisingly, they were busy last night even when it was cold out. They had 3 young ladies working and they were all very nice. They greeted you as you walked in and ensure to assist you right away. I could honestly live on their Cake Batter Ice Cream for the better part of a month. It is that good. Cold Stone Creamery is a great ice cream store with a million possibilities. Just want simple ice cream? Okay. Want it in a funnel cone with mix ins? Yup! You basically get what you want, but the more toppings you choose the higher priced your item becomes, naturally. I find their ice cream to be super fresh and their toppings too. My favorite is Cake Batter mixed with Kit-Kats in a funnel cone. YUM!! They have cakes too and an ice cream cake at a birthday party is always a huge hit! Lots of coupons (buy 1 get 1 free) for Cold Stone so just look around and give it a try. I think you'll be back. I did an online order at this location last night that I never received even after an hour. When I called the location I was unable to get any help in which the young lady named Arlene thought that I was being rude with her although I was talking with my friend she disconnected the call in my face. I ended up driving down to this location despite requesting delivery in which things got much worse . The young lady decided that she would not help me with replacing my items or refunding my money because she didn't like my attitude. She Then called the owner in which the advised me they called the police on me if I did not leave the premises because of the fact that I had not received my order that was over $30. When the owner came he came in rude and yelling at me and telling me I was 86th out of his establishment, called me a b@#/h, and that I would not get any of my money back despite the fact I showed them that I ordered directly from cold stone's website and not through a 3rd party. Do not go to the establishment because if you are rudely treated or if you don't receive your order they will do absolutely nothing and will keep your money. The customer service is definitely a reflection of poor leadership. A bunch of young people that do not know how to resolve escalations and an owner that doesn't realize how to treat those who contribute to his franchise. read more

The concept here is simple- pick your ice cream, pick your toppings and watch the talented staff slap it down on a slab and mix it up. They'll put it in a cup, stab a spoon in it and call it a day. If you tip them, they'll even sing you a song :) sweet! Cold Stone also has a freezer full of ice creams cakes and treats so if you're in a hurry you can grab something on the fly. Three stars is generous. These poor girls. Either they're is miscommunication, no team work and maybe no guidance of how to get through a "rush" ..Only two girls working their ass off and two others dilly dallying in the back counter "pretending" to be busy! Line is out the door. When it's too late the other two jump out and begin to work "slowly." Customers come first and getting through the rush together will make work a lot more fun and rewarding. The girls need management to treat them all to a team building exercise and show them a system that works during busy times. You got this girls! Store was having some issues where the ice cream was soft due to technical issues. I completely understand if there is a technical problem with the freezers but your customer service should be higher to compensate for the problem. The lady who helped us was not very friendly. I asked if they make coffee drinks and she told me to look at the wall behind me which has flavors of ice cream. A simple "yes we do and we have 2 different flavors" would have been the correct answer. She seemed very annoyed that we were there. I doubt I will ever come back to this location read more

And btw whip cream is supposed to be cold, not some crap of fake topping. As for the hot fudge.........again, really? My husband and I came here Friday night. We were standing between 2 sets of customers. The first set, a mother and daughter were already being helped by a worker. The 2nd set who was behind us in line was served before us. This is one of those "if I could give zero stars I would" type of review. Me and my girlfriend walked in first time ever at this cold stone and the place honestly stunk like pee or something. I really felt like I could have got the hand and foot disease just walking in there. One of the staff workers was very rude and inconsiderate. Young blonde girl working there at night was very blunt and speaking whatever came to her mind. She would look at the customers in line and get flustered(because of the amount of customers), make some weird noise or comment and completely forget there is customers right in front of her. I do not remember her name but she would go back and forth just making comments about the line or the customers staring at her because she would talk so loud making comments indirectly about the customers. She stared and pointed directly at my girlfriend and said "that girl keeps staring at me" as if we could not hear her? I didn't notice she did or said this until my girlfriend told me after we left. I was STILL distracted by the horrible smell of the place and it unfortunately ruined my appetite for any ice cream, so we left immediately. The rest of the staff I can not speak for but was not professional at all. Just know if you order a cake ahead of time they might not have it when you show up to pick it up. Staff is super nice however I made an online order the day before for a cake. I went to pick up my order the next day as scheduled but when I showed up they informed me that they did not have the cake I ordered. Can't remember the name of the girl I spoke to but she did her very best to rectify the situation. Love this place even though I find myself going in more frequently than my scale would like, lol. Have been going in about once. A week for the 48 ounce (half gallon) to go. The staff is always friendly, cheerful and I appreciate that they PACK the container full. It would be acceptable if they were to just fill it loosely but they always pack in as much ice cream as will possibly fit. I appreciate this, especially since the 48 ouncers are $12.99 a pop. Two of us went in tonight, there was a girl mopping and another guy working. He didn't say anything to us, and she finished mopping before looking at us and offering to help us. I asked for a sample and she did not remove her same mop gloves to give me that, still used the same gloves to prepare my order and then later take payment. No hand washing/cleanliness standards here. After making mine she continued to clean but never asked the person I was with about his order so he asked the other guy who just pointed over to the girl. So he asked her and then she stopped and helped him (same gloves still). She said have a good night as we left but it felt really awkward trying to complete our order with her unfortunately.
