I needed to take a Lactaid pill to enjoy my order and they could not give me a cup of clean water because they didn't have any??? They could only provide tap water. Like I mentioned, they were very nice and the ice cream was good. Not as many options as I remembered a decade ago when I used to enjoy cold stone! We come about once a month- My friend has banana almond crunch- I get banana and sweet cream mixed with graham cracker and caramel and whipped cream on top. I love love love the whipped cream, I wish they would sell it to use at home! We always get the biggest size (gotta have it!) They have a lot more ice cream flavors than I remembered. Also, you get one free mix-in per order and $1.29 per additional. The nice young lady helping me was accommodating to my wishes in selecting my ice cream flavor and added my chosen mixed item. Went all in on that skinny vanilla ice cream (low sugar, low fat) and added a Reese's peanut butter cup (high sugar, high fat). Chose the small which is the Like It size but small works fine for my vernacular. No regrets on anything. It was the right deliciousness, creaminess, sweetness and satiating for my post-dinner sweet tooth desires. I had suddenly and truly achieved dessert nirvana with my little hand-mixed ice cream. My Brother is Dairy free and when he asked if they could make the smoothie Dairy free the two ladies on shift started laughing and snickering at him. I wish I could give this store a ZERO! Went into the store to order a custom ice cream cake to celebrate my husband's 76th birthday with grandchildren coming in from out of town. The store staff told me they were "too busy" to help, "just order it on line", which I did (and prepaid for it!). Went in last night to pick it up, only to be told by non-caring staff that the cake did not get made! I did present the email confirmation and receipt. I asked to talk to the store manager who would not take my call as she was "not on the clock". Then the owner was called, she would not talk to me either, but told staff to offer me one of the stock cakes they had in the freezer (which I did NOT want as I could have done that the night before) or a refund(which I would have to wait for tomorrow for)...what good does that do me when I have 7 people at the house waiting for birthday cake to celebrate Grandpa's birthday. The staff did NOT care, nor did the owner! I refused to leave the store without a refund or statement that I had indeed come in to pick up the prepaid cake. Forty minutes later, the owner could finally do a refund "from her home computer" There was no apology, only attitude! Customer Service at this store SUCKS! Buyer BEWARE....you order on-line, they take your money and then expect you to settle for the old product sitting in their freezer! read more

I visited this location that off of Cook in Palm Desert. There was a line of 6 people ahead of me and only 1worker behind the counter. Everyone was being patient and I could tell the server was a bit distressed being the only person serving customers. Instead of ordering a concoction that would take several minutes to create, by the time I was being served, I ordered a cup of vanilla and quickly exited the premises. The place was clean, however at this location there are no tables and only 6 plastic outdoor chairs along the outer perimeter. I hope management will respond to getting another person there not just to prevent long lines of customers, also as a safety factor for evening hours. read more

This outlet just opened; we went over for their Grand Opening. They are in half of a small building shared with the University Village MarkeT, also just opened. They are on the west side of Cook St., just a little south of Gerald Ford/I-10. With the bewildering assortment of flavors to choose from, I finally decided on Cinnamon Bun ice cream, with Graham Cracker Pie Crust bits in it, although I could have chosen peanuts, cashews, M&Ms, Snickers, Butterfinger and lots more. It was really yummy. Number 2 son got a mix of Oatmeal Cookie Dough and Chocolate and enjoyed that, too. If you have a hard time deciding, they will let you have a small sample. The downside of the place is that there is nowhere to sit to enjoy your confection. Maybe they will remedy that soon. Afterward, we went next door where they were offering free 22-oz drinks that week. Between the two, I got a real sugar overload. Maybe I'll try it again sometime. read more

Opening entering this is what I immediately encountered 1) Young lady behind counter organizing the mix-ins, lack of a greeting or acknowledgement we were there, 2) Ice cream was melting in the freezer. The Black Cherry Sorbet actually had pools of liquid. I hesitated, but my daughters really wanted ice cream to beat the desert heat. The girls selected vanilla ice cream since it was the one in the most solid state. It was still quite soft, consistency was similar to a shake and this was even before the mix-ins were added. My daughters didn't even get halfway through their ice cream. My eldest was disgusted and said it didn't taste right. Coming from an ice cream lover something was seriously wrong.
