Look. I love Jamba Juice. I just had one on a trip in Temecula and loved my drink so much I wanted one when I got back home so went by the one by my house. When I say I got the worst açaí bowl I've ever had ANYWHERE- I mean it. The açaí part was basically ice with some flavor and the bananas were icy as well? I basically ate the top part and threw the bowl away. So sad. The kid at the cashier was also not friendly whatsoever. Never smiled once and he sounded bored or like I was an inconvenience to him. This is definitely a convenient location; the only one on the hill. I've never had to ever wait long for my order. The staff are always friendly. My drinks have always tasted really good and fresh. My go to is definitely the watermelon drink. They also have tasty bakery items. I like the pretzels. They have a couple tables and chairs outside, but I don't stay long because they're out in the sun and there are no umbrellas. You don't have to worry about parking either. However, there is some seating outside. The service is friendly and typically faster than expected. Compared to other chains, Jamba's smoothies are the best. This morning I went to the beach with my girlfriend and was stung by a bee. I was lost, I thought to myself: what did I do to deserve this, I was just laying there on my towel? In terms of this particular Jamba Juice all of these attributes are high functioning. This Jamba Juice is located in an extended shopping plaza. Due to this fact, there is plenty of parking. You should never have a problem finding a spot. In terms of seating, this Jamba Juice has a nice area that extends into the parking lot. Generally, they have three tables. From this, you should be able to find a place to sit back and enjoy your drink if you don't want to take it to go. The staff here is always nice and friendly, though sometimes I have found them to be not as well trained as perhaps they should be which has periodically led to an extended wait when there really shouldn't have been one. To start, I love Jamba Juice and get it all the time - especially from this location. This story is quite chuckle worthy, however, as a customer service sensei myself, I'm quite disappointed that the brown haired white girl working the front this morning doesn't have the ability to separate her personal life from work. I've come in with my boyfriend a few times while she's worked and we always have a laugh. She openly flirts with him while I'm by his side, scoffs at me when I speak, and basically gives me a complete look of hatred while I'm there with him. You see, this doesn't make me jealous. In fact, I think it's a compliment when women act like this because I know he's the one taking me home. So, we laugh about it. Now to the juicy part. This morning my boyfriend left early to surprise me with some Jamba Juice before I woke up (I know..... I'm so freaking lucky). I woke up right as he came home. He was so excited to tell me about his experience with the brown haired girl we too often laugh about. As he's telling me the story I go to take a sip of my drink....... It wasn't just bad.... It tasted puke worthy. But thinking ... "he was so sweet to get this for me I'll just continue drinking it like I like it..." I continued to slowly (very slowly) sip at it as he told me this story. Brown haired girl was ecstatic to see him. She was more than happy to help him out and even remembered exactly what he likes (strawberries wild). Without even asking if he wanted anything more (customer service 101), she proceeded to tell him the total. He nicely said he would also like a drink for his girlfriend (a white gummy). Her mood immediately flipped and she proceeded to have an attitude the rest of the experience. My boyfriend, not keen for conflict, pulled out his phone and ignored her until the drinks were ready. After hearing this, the first thing I thought of was "she purposely made me a bad drink...." While that might be a serious accusation, I wouldn't be surprised. My drink didn't even taste like Jamba Juice. It tasted and had the consistency of squeezed lemon juice mixed with water and black pepper. My boyfriend on the other hand couldn't stop raving about how incredible his smoothie was. After tasting his, I knew she had done something to my drink out of spite. His smoothie really was incredible (and I don't even like strawberries wild). I made him taste mine and he nearly spit it out. He couldn't stomach to take another sip (and he likes white gummy). I usually always use this Jamba Juice but last week was disappointing. The staff was overwhelmed with the line and not even greeting customers. There was a young man in the back who came out for 2 min to take orders and then disappeared. The three remaining girls, one on bowls, one on dishes (never came to front or even looked up) and one on smoothies and apparently was supposed to do register too although when the male went to the back no other orders went in which was weird as you could tell the vibe was off/bad right when I walked in. She was really trying but the orders were all mixed up and we were made to wait outside but then no one came outside when drinks were ready so it was confusing. Two people who had ordered before I even parked my car ahead of me were completely forgotten. Also the blue vanilla smoothie is disgusting don't bother with it. They took the matcha green tea smoothie off the menu. Probably won't go back here. And they were out of peach juice for the peach pleasure and also no raspberries. It seemed they only had the base for the tropical drinks. Hopefully the kids can get some more training from their manager. I tried the Aloha Pineapple and REALLY liked it. I had not been to a Jamba Juice in a long time, but finally came back to one and forgot why I ever decided to stop returning. It seems like their sizes have gotten smaller, but whose hasn't? My friend ordered the Razzmatazz and liked it as well. In fact, that was the smoothie I used to always order! The store was clean and the AC felt good, but the reason why I took off 2 stars is because of Cody, the cashier. He wasn't friendly at all, and was yawning the whole time behind the counter with dead eyes. He didn't great anyone at all and seemed like he hated to be there. We had to ask for a receipt (so that I could get his name) and you could tell he was slightly annoyed for asking. During the whole time we were there, he used the counter to lean on to while he took orders. Hungover maybe? The interesting thing is that as soon as someone came in with a certain shirt that he noticed, he went on with a whole conversation, all friendly and what not. Spent $30 on smoothies and some food items for kids. They were out of banana but made it without?? OK... not sure how you can make a smoothie without bananas? I mean pavilions is in the same shopping center, the manager should have gotten some bananas somehow. But the real issue was with the food. We ordered 8 things, which took almost 30 minutes! When we finally got everything, 4 drinks and 4 food items, the kids inhaled it so quickly I didn't really look At it. But my youngest child I feed, so as I feeding oulling apart the food, it's was moldy inside! Then I checked the rest of the other 4 and was remnants of fuzzy mold on there's also!! But they ate most of it. So I went back inside to show them, and the girl said "no I don't think it mold" so then I literally opened it up for her and showed the gteen fuzzy mold inside. I've come here a handful of times to get my smoothie fix. I gotta say it's relatively painless and almost all the workers here are amiable and get the job done. It's very rare that I come across a worker here who obviously hates his job. Here's a tip: if you're looking to save money with a friend, but don't want too much, you should just order the large size and ask for a cup to split it. I have been coming here at least once a week for their smoothies and breakfast wraps. The employees here are always friendly and super helpful. The prices of each drink are pretty pricy and add up but if you sign up for rewards and emails. You get coupons quite often for $1 off if you try their promotional drinks and food. I am in love with their turkey sausage, egg, and cheese wrap. They aren't the biggest but it's a perfect morning pick me up to keep me going until lunch time. They also have buy one get one for $1 coupons on certain holidays and I just used mine today for Presidents' Day weekend. They have a ton of options to accommodate to your taste buds, diet, and mood. The classics are still around which is lovely. If you're trying to be healthier they have the 100% fruit and vegetable juice or you can do an all fruit smoothie (dairy & gluten free). I still long for those days with many different smoothies with different fruits and a free boost. Now, it's trying to be something else at the expense of loosing it's less nationally popular flavors. The drinks never come out consistently in terms of flavor. Some days it's a little too watered down with ice, some days it has too much orange, etc. Also, those kids can never get the amount properly for a drink. I understand these are greasy acne ridden high school aged children but my goodness there are many others looking for work who can at least crack a smile. Um, is everyone that works here stoned? Because they are on planet Slackerville and have no visible manager. Ever. Love the orange juice and $1.00 oatmeal. Everywhere, anywhere. Just know you aren't really going to "run in and run out" when you come to Jamba Juice. It's not that fast even and the level of customer service tends to be bare minimum to surprisingly, on it. For instance, one time I was asked if I wanted ice in my orange juice and another time, no thought was given to it. Not a big deal but it was nice someone was thinking one step ahead and yes, thank you, I would like ice in my OJ.
