Quality and flavor is decent. I only get it when I'm desperate and don't wanna wait in line at handles or drive further to go to cold stone or any other creamery. I ordered an Oreo cookie shake, and a pistachio ice cream shake mixed with the ice cream of the month which is another pistachio and chocolate blend. The flavor is basic and i understand why people stand in handles long lines because it's worth the wait and every time I come to Baskin-Robbins it's never busy. Maybe it's just this location I haven't been to a Baskin-Robbins in another location in a while. I feel like the Oreo cookie was vanilla ice cream with a hint of Oreo cookie, I'm looking for more flavor., maybe add more Oreo cookie would be a suggestion. It cured a sweet tooth, but probably won't be going back since I have better options that are a great quality and worth the price. I spent about 20 bucks on both and not including tip. Oh also, I had a $20 bill that was a little older than the newer ones and the young lady said she couldn't take it because the manager wants to be there when they receive those bills. Luckily I had more bills on me being that I didn't have my card. The service was okay? two young females one was training the other they were nice but I almost get a sense for management by just seeing the way they work there. I almost felt bad for them and wish I can offer them a new job. I get this feeling like they would be walking on eggshells if the manager was there. Definitely not worth 20 bucks. We bought ice cream last night the same order we get weekly the price is usually 33.00 or so. Last night same order 47.00. My husband just paid and didn't look at receipt. When I saw receipt it was a rip off they charged us 9.95 for sundaes and then 1.39 for whipped cream, .89 for a cherry and 1.39 for almonds. I'm absolutely disappointed by my visit here. The shop is nested in a small strip shopping center that I wouldn't return to especially with children. We were assisted by the owner and he seemed confused and lacked basic customer service skills. There was a small dining area with sticky tables, no outside seating which probably wouldn't have been a good idea considering the area and location. The owner was condescending to his only other employee and literally had his employee "chase" (yes, he told her to chase the customer, loading 5 children in the car). Stopped by last minute for a ice cream birthday cake. It was nice that they had a variety in their freezer, and were able to write on the cake when I purchased it. However they wrote on the cake in a red frosting, and by the time we got back to the house less than a mile later the red frosting from the writing had bled onto the other cake and had distorted the writing to where it was legible. In the future I would ask for a lighter color so that it doesn't bleed all over the cake. Overall the taste of the cake was good and as expected. read more

This Baskin-Robbins is part of my family history. I am a single parent with an almost 17 year old son. Since Ian could eat ice cream, we have come to this Baskin-Robbins. The owner--Ben--is a really super nice guy. He always recognizes Ian and me, and he and I have talked business and family. It is neat as a parent-with the way people come in go--where we have a place and a business owner watch your child grow. I have virtually every birthday cake for Ian made by this Baskin Robbins. They are always a hit, and it is fun looking at our family album and seeing the different themes on Ian Baskin-Robbins ice cream cakes: Lion King, Soccer, and Harry Potter. I also have also had this store make several cakes for birthdays at my State Farm office. I remember when I had to lift Ian up to look at the flavors; now he has to bend over to see through the glass. I love the memories I still have when Ian and I go there, sit at the table, and have our ice cream. It is fun talking with Ian about I remember when mint chip was favorite, currently it is Rock Road. That was his Grandfathers favorite flavor at Baskin-Robbins. Where, but this Baskin-Robbins, sitting at the same table that I use to lift Ian into the seat, could I share such a precious memory with my son? My father took me to my first Baskin-Robbins when it was called 31 flavors in 1959. I was 3. My favorite favor was banana marshmallow. My dad got rock road every single time. This Baskin-Robbins has helped build many special memories and relive them continually. I live in San Pedro Palisades, Gaffey is my road home. I pass this store every day. It always cheers me up and brings a smile to my face. The service is excellent, the owner a really warm, nice, and friendly, and the ice cream is the very best. Ian and I love this Baskin-Robbins. As an after note Ian and I visited this Baskin-Robbins today after visiting the U S S Abraham Lincoln. Ben met us with a smile and we share some good conversation. This is not the closest Baskin Robbins to me but it is by far the best one ever. My kids love ice cream cakes and this is the place to get Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes. Ben has owned this store for 25 years and he is the best! He is polite, courteous and will bend over backwards for his customers. So I showed up and met a worker there named Alexia telling her I was there for an ice cream cake but wasn't sure the cake was going to be big enough even though that's what I described I needed over the phone. She recommended these pizza sliced ice cream cakes. Again I appreciate when someone is patient and recommends other items I can select from. She did a beautiful job with the writing over the cake and her recommendation turned out to be a success at last nights party.
