Don't quite understand all the high ratings for this location of Cold Stone. I'm a huge fan of Cold Stone; however, this location is drab & dreary. When walking in, there's no awesome smell of fresh waffle cones being cooked, and the staff was less than friendly. Most drive-bys to this location, you won't find an onslaught of cars, so gotta wonder the freshness if the ice cream. I asked to taste test a couple flavors prior to making my decision, and noticed one of the containers of ice cream had a pool of liquid in it. I asked about it, and she didn't know why it was like that but guessed it was suppose to be like that. Really? It was gross. Will I try it again? ...not likely. read more

I have yet to find an ice cream shop that has as delicious banana ice cream as Cold Stone. No not the fake yellow banana ice cream, this is real tasting banana. Ffff...it's so good. I want some right now. Not sure about something, you can try it out. They have alot of good selections, and seasonal flavors too. They also serve shakes and iced coffees (which I've yet to try). They have mix-ins, but personally, I like plain ice cream without frills or gimmicks, because it's good as is. You can also buy cakes, ice cream sandwiches, or get a bucket to take home so you don't have to go by here all the time for your favorite flavor. Speaking of which, I should really do that for the banana ice cream... TIP! MAKE SURE TO SIGN UP ON THEIR WEBSITE FOR FREE BIRTHDAY ICE CREAM. Service was really good, and the store was clean. They have a large menu with many options. Maybe cuz I haven't been eating a bunch of sugar or dairy, is why I didn't enjoy my ice cream as much from here as I did a few years ago when I tried it. The bf and I like to frequent this location but, unfortunately, service is usually always dreary. The gal at the register didn't thank us nor seemed appreciative of the tip we left. We drove 35 minutes to get to cold stone because my kids have been begging for it. Arrived at 8:58pm + kids ran inside. Not one of the FIVE employees greeted us but one female employee rudely announced that we needed to stand behind a black rope. Then she preceded & asked if we already ordered b/c they closed their registers & the only way to order is if we do it online. If we are able to do it before 9pm then she will give us ice cream if not, sorry! By the time we got the website up & tried to navigate through +trying to figure out how the processed worked, it was 9pm. I said wow thanks anyways, every employee ignored as if no customers were inside. They ignored the fact that my kids were devastated that I couldn't figure it out fast enough just like that employee knew would happen. They could care less as they continued scooping ice cream for the group of friends hanging outside. This was our first time at this location and we will never be back again. It's not like they had to make anything. They couldn't have scooped ice cream into a cup ? If customers are inside before an establishment closes they should be served. I love cold stone! Every time we go to Silverdale we stop here. There is one thing, one of the girls is very slow at mixing the ice cream, the others are super fast and really get into it, I try and avoid her even though I feel bad when I do, she is very kind but just doesn't really get into it like the others do. In the time it took her to tell me she couldn't do a pick up order she could of done it? The whole point of calling ahead is to allow the staff time to get the order ready if they are busy. It's cold stone need I say more my friends ice cream cone was a little more melted then usually but tht only cause she had to make a fresh chocolate cone for her she should of waiter before doing the mixing. My shake was great but check the pics I took most of them it needed it lmao. Love cold stone no matter what. My husband and I have visited this location on 2 occasions. My comments are as follows- 1. Cold stone ice cream is QUALITY. This stuff is creamy, fatty, and addictive as all get-out. Their cakes are TO DIE FOR. If I get fat, I want to get fat off of cold stone. 2. On two occasions we have been served by friendly and informed young kids. They want you to like their ice cream. They mix those mix-ins like you are paying for their rent/and/or/college. The young lady last time saw a child drop her ice cream cone and offered the parents of the screaming child another ice cream on her. I could tell it made their day. The point is, in our time having a quality product coupled with cheerful customer service is rare and much appreciated. Cold Stone, this location in particular, pulls this off fabulously. read more

After a mixup with our delivery from coldstone via UberEATS I was left a little annoyed as an ice cream had been left out and without a manager I was not offered a great solution to the error. However, exactly at opening the next day the manager called me back and was apologetic and remade our order completely and delivered it to us himself, a much higher value than the original refund I asked for and leaving behind a very happy customer at the amends made. To my sad surprise there weren't ANY cones, so I got a scoop in a cup that the girl didn't bother to mix and was mostly peanut butter and a very small amount of nearly melted ice cream. I have had Coldstone's signature creation Mud Pie Mojo quite a few times at other locations and it is always incredible. But this place has proven to me that it does make a difference how the employees mix the ingredients and if it is not done exactly right, it wont taste the same. There were too many nuts in mine, she didnt really mix it all that well so there were too many large chunks, ect. I spent a total of $16 as a treat for myself on my bday, only to regret it when I got home and opened the package and also saw the prepacked ice cream I got called Cake Batter Batter. This was the biggest disappointment of all. It was NOT mixed correctly AT ALL and looked nothing like the pic on the front. The ice cream took up the most of the space and any pieces in it were hard to find!! There were NO brownie pieces!!!!!!!! Someone working there just did not put in the correct ingredients or enough of them so I just wasted $10. Go to any other Coldstone if you can and avoid this one. read more

Our ice cream artist was friendly, but the place was out of waffle cones, out of bananas, out of several flavors, and I watched the gal take the scoop of what I ordered right off the top of a new tin (it was the leftover of the previous tin and really soft). I love ice cream. I'm also lactose intolerant, which is a bit difficult to reconcile with my aforementioned love for ice cream, but that's another story for another time... Anyway, the ice cream at Cold Stone is always great and always a treat. I wish I could say the same for the service at this location. In a nutshell, it sucked. Here's why: 1. Staffed entirely by teenagers on a busy Friday night. Not the best idea, Mr. Manager. 2. One teenager, the one I was lucky enough to have helping me, didn't have the first clue as to what she was doing. Bless her heart, she was nice enough, but how about some training? 3. Speaking of training, I seem to recall when I got my food handler's permit the Department of Health instructing the class that when one gets food on one's hands, you either a) wash with soap or 2) wipe with a clean paper towel, not wipe on one's shirt, or apron, or counter, or any other surface. Also: please do not touch spoons or straws with your grubby-a$$ fingers. 4. My milkshake was made without milk. Considering I didn't ask for "no milk," the instructions for making any of their creations are visibly posted, AND the fact that "milkshake" has the word "milk" in it, this was the death knell for any hope of extra stars for this experience. It literally pains me to give such a harsh review for a place that dishes out my own personal kryptonite, but I just can't give more than one star for this one. read more

The coldstone ice cream is the same everywhere you go..always delicious. But there is one employee at this location who seems to not be able to fill the cups all the way. Every time I go, she never fills my cup full of ice cream. I won't be going to this location to pay $5 for half a cup of ice cream. Place is dirty and kinda dark deary feeling. Seems like a boot leg cold stones. The staff didn't seem to know how to make my milk shake. After about 10 mins and the girl opening and closing the fridge and going to the back I got my milk shake tasted ok so I guess that's good. Just left me uneasy with how confused they seemed to be with a simple milk shake. We won't be coming back sadly as we love cold stones. read more

Great location, consistent quality of ice cream that Cold Stone Creamery is known for, and pleasant staff. The chilled display unit at this shop was on the fritz during our visit a week ago. Despite this, the staff who were on duty were unfazed and stayed cheerful as much as possible. They also alerted all customers that the ice cream they had to use from their freezers out back would be less thick than usual because of the electrical issue. Came in on a sunny Sunday afternoon prompted by a BOGO promotion I received via email. There was a line forming. I was greeted with a smile. I asked for two signature creations in a gotta have it waffle bowl. Except I accidentally said waffle "cone" when I ordered. The girl fixed it, no problem. I appreciate that, since it was my mistake. I asked for some extra peanut butter, done. Customer service was great. Ice cream was great. What more can you ask for. read more

We got good service on this warm, sunny Sunday afternoon for the most part. The problem is that the ice cream was warm as well. It was so soft it was not lick-able. None of our party finished since it was melting faster than we could eat it. When we mentioned it, we received a "some are softer than others" response. Not acceptable. read more
