The service was ok. Standard area for a coldstone. Not a lot of people working in this location. I tasted/sampled their ice creams and they had a chewy texture. Not sure how they managed to do that. I sampled the kettle corn ice creams and it tasted good but the sample was a bit off putting. In any case, if it was a bit softer or smoother it would be better. We came in around 8pm was greeted and served right away, the young lady did us right with the samples and we all enjoyed our visit. The first time I visited this location, they were closed. Fortunately, I had much better luck on my second attempt. I got a medium Chocolate Devotion in a chocolate-dipped waffle bowl. August 7 -my husband & I ordered 2 ice creams from this location which we've been to many times before without issue. Unfortunately on this visit, neither employee knew what went into our ice cream or how to make it. My Founders favorite was not mixed AT ALL and handed to me at about 3/4 full with the toppings LITERALLY on top and the ice cream had frozen chunks. My husband who is the least picky person on the planet sad his was inedible and the worst thing he'd ever had. HIs person referenced the board several times and still did not mix his together and it was basically just vanilla ice cream with some hot fudge squirted on top. Absolutely awful customer service. When he asked the girl to please mix in my stuff she handed him a larger cup and spoon so HE could mix it together which promptly turned it into soup in our Texas weather. Unacceptable! I ordered a Love it size Founders Favorite that was missing the brownies and the caramel and had nuts and hot fudge sitting on top and my husband ordered a Like it size Oreo Overload that had NO OREOS mixed into it- we immediately contacted Coldstone on their site to complain and had zero response. read more

Got another cake - better in some ways, worse in others - but the overall rating stays the same. The Better: Lettering was much more even than our first cake (picture attached to original review). Very nice improvement. The Worse: Fair warning though -- if you decide on any mix-ins with high water content (like fruits) or the strawberry mid-layer, it makes the cake frosty & frozen more than creamy. It's hard to slice and is akin to eating chunks of flavored ice. This lesson was learned from experience. read more

This was the WORST Coldstone I've ever been to. This is my favorite ice cream place and I came in with a great attitude and was very patient. They were rude, acted like it was a bother for me to order, didn't fill up my cup all the way, and were rolling their eyes every time anyone spoke. They also messed up on a previous customers order and didn't say anything to me like "excuse me let me handle this" or anything. They simply said can you let him by please with an attitude, grabbed the kids cup that has been eaten out of and scooped it out with their ice cream scooper and added the missing ingredient. That is DISGUSTING and I was very glad my ice cream was already made but I still am not sure I even want it. It also smelled like mildew the minute we walked in the door. Cold Stone is always a good ice cream spot. They had a lot of flavors to choose from and toppings to mix in. Such a fun time watching them make it on the counter in front of you. The website said they closed at 10, we get there and the sign on the window says 9. Well it was 8:55 so we tried to get ice cream and they said they were already closed for the night. All of the ice cream had already been put away and the tables and floors had clearly been cleaned. When we said they were supposed to be open until 9, the girl behind the counter, who I assume was supposed to be some kind of manager, said "well I'm training tonight". Well you're not training well if you're training employees to close before your actual closing hours. We've been to this location multiple times and have not been happy with customer service any time. The teenagers behind the counter are too concerned with their own conversation and gossip to give good service. It's a bummer because the ice cream is good, but I don't think my family will be making the 20 minute drive for bad service again. read more

Cold Stone Creamery is probably my favorite place to go for ice cream however this location is honestly my least favorite. First, it smells like a porta potty when you walk in which is really gross and unsanitary. I can't imagine that this would sit with the health and safety department. Secondly, they do not have nearly as many of flavors or toppings as other Cold Stones. In fact, this one seems to have much less than others. I will say the staff is friendly which is the only reason I gave them 3 stars but I can't imagine I will be visiting this location ever again which is a shame since it's fairly close by. read more

The only disappointment was that I had asked for a small cup of water to take some medication and they refused to give me a small cup of water and insisted that I needed to purchase a full water bottle from them.
