Overall this is a pretty great place to get ice cream. The service was really quick and everyone was nice. Everything tasted great and the employee even offered a recommendation to improve my milkshake combination. The only issue is that it's really hot in there and most of the ice cream was kind of melted. It resulted in a more runny milkshake, but not a huge issue. read more

Pretty disappointing experience. My birthday certificate wouldn't come up and they didn't give it anyways even with proof of my birthday. They screwed up the order, didn't put it in the cup I asked for and was completely messy. My friend came with me, ordered a standard type of creation and they messed that up as well and put it in a waffle bowl with graham cracker on it when she specifically said the one with nuts because she doesn't like graham cracker. They also had too many people working (4 people on two ice cream creations) and kept making backhanded comments about getting things in the ice cream for free because they screwed up and put wrong ingredients in the ice cream. Avoid this location. 1st of all, the local coupon flyer (I live within a mile) has a two for one coupon that this location does not honor. Of course I didn't notice the small print until I was at the register and the 16 year old cashier seemed annoyed that she had to interrupt her cell phone call to tell me the coupon was no good. I should have walked out at that point and let them toss the product in the garbage, but I didn't think quickly enough. She continued her phone call as she finished running my credit card. Over priced as is, bad service and crappy coupon policy means our business goes else where. read more

I went in tonight on a Friday night, the line was almost out the door. I was there for about 10 minutes without the line moving because there was 4 people behind the counter and one person mixing ice cream. After about 10 minutes two other crew members finally started helping, I was pretty irritated, the girl who made my creation charged me more than she was supposed to until I corrected her and she fixed it. I very much enjoy ice cream. In fact, I LOVE it. I even enjoy chain Coldstone. But this one... eh. Not so much. The kids that work there are usually too busy talking to each other to notice much, there is plenty of attitude to go around. The portion sizes are very inconsistent. I really am disappointed by this location. We've been here at least 4 or 5 times in the last year, so this is a continued problem. If there were a Coldstone closer to us, we would abandon this one. But convenience wins and once in a while, we will head over for some of our favorite creations. I will say that I love the little cupcakes, only buy them when they are on sale. I do NOT recommend supporting this location or this business in general. Their customer service skills are horrible. I went in on my birthday non the less 6/14 with 1 friend to get an ice cream for their bogo reward. 2 ppl were behind the counter (one had only been there a week - she was great and doing her best) but the other two "seasoned staff members not so much. The lead that night was so rude and hostile that I will never go back ever to that location. Anyways I was getting my order done by the newbie and then another patron comes in and instead of going over and beyond and giving good customer service the person training helped the new customer and not my friend. So the person behind me ended up paying 1st/cutting in front. Because this bit** could help my friend. Who ever answers their twitter page says this is a common practice. I would understand it if everyone had confidence and was seasoned but when you have someone training it should NOT be a common practice. The gal helping us was already trying her hardest and flustered, I believe with time she will pick it up but not very well under the gal I saw that night. Too bad they don't wear name badges otherwise I'd post it here. Such a shame. Just lost a customer, I'd rather go by store bought ice cream than ever step foot in this place again. Just got the best customer service from the hardest working ladies! They were on top of attending to all the customers immediately. They were super super fast, without skimping on the ice cream or fillers in the process! Mind you, they were trying to have dinner in the midst of what ended up being a non-stop barrage of people coming in. This lasted for about an hour, while we were there. They were super friendly and attentive to everyone that came in. Not one glimpse of frustration from the inability to have their dinner. And I saw them reheat their food at least twice. I am from Portland, but my husband lives about two hours away and one day when he was visiting when we were first dating I brought him here. He and I are obsessed. The ice cream is so whipped and fluffy and there is a perfect topping to ice cream ratio. My favorite type of their ice cream is the sweet cream; IT IS TO DIE FOR. Normally I get the "Founder's Favorite" without pecans and add cookie dough. HELLO. My husband gets Cotton Candy with marshmallows and white chocolate. Profoundly, and utterly disrespectful, rude owner. Worst experience I have ever had, at any type of establishment in my life. I came with my family after a wonderful lunch to grab some ice cream. I took a sample of ice cream as I had requested, and she made a very disparaging and rude comment that I was a bad mother for not letting my child have it first. I pulled her off to the side to request she not speak to me in that way in front of my children and she proceeded to call me a bad mother and I had "grabbed it out of her hand". I am a therapist who really tries to see the good in something or learn something new... but this was just really mean and unkind. Older dude shorted me on my love it size mint by shaving the top exactly even wtih the cup, rather than the usual over the top. Complained to customer service; they said someone would get back to me. I stopped by to get some ice cream this afternoon and, while the ice cream was delish, the service was not. There were two young ladies taking care of customers. One was soft spoken and helpful to customers. The other woman appeared to be in charge; however, was not friendly or patient with customers as they asked questions. Ice cream is good, however you can find good ice cream a lot of places. The guy working was so monotone and just terribly rude to the people I was with. During the time I was there he was giving the girls I serve (who have disablities) dirty looks, huffing and puffing because it took them a long time to order and they did not order the most delicious sounding combinations however your dirty looks were not necessary. When one of the girls (who has autism) was in the bathroom, he asked me multiple times if she was almost done, apperently he has no patience, or he is just thick headed and does not realize some people take longer to do things. Also I asked for a reciept for both orders, and apparently printing out a reciept is difficult for him becuase he made it a big deal. The icing on the cake though was when he began talking badly about his coworkers right in front of me as he was finishing up my transaction, even after the girl he was working with told him multiple times to stop. Overall I would not go back, the idea of having your ice cream made this way is awesome, but I would rather drive to another coldstone no matter how far it was than deal with this man again, if I could give them no stars I would. My daughter and I bought two chocolate devotion ice creams this evening. It was one of the worse experiences I've ever had. When my daughter started eating her ice cream in the car, she found a hair in her ice cream. Then she found another hair. The ice cream also melted so quickly that it spilled all over her clothes in the car. Instead of going back into the store with the melted ice cream, we decided to go home so that my daughter could change her clothes and clean up. We went back to the store about an hour later and asked for a replacement ice cream, explaining that we had found hairs in the original ice cream. We were told that we should have brought the ice cream back as proof. We said that it was melted and we didn't want to carry melted ice cream back. Then we were told we should have taken a picture. At that point, I was really frustrated that instead of apologizing and trying to remedy the situation, we basically were being called liars and told that we could come back to speak with a manager another day. They said they could not give us a replacement ice cream or a refund. I had to ask several times for the manager to be called. We were made to wait 10 minutes while Hailey "called the manager" (which shouldn't have taken more than a few minutes). When she finally came back, she asked what my name was and found my credit card receipt. Then she handed me a cash refund, all the while never apologizing or explaining what the manager said. She did, however, tell us that the owners and the manager were well aware of the situation and that everything was captured on videotape, as if we had done something egregious. I apparently missed her handing me a dime so my daughter went back to get it. Instead of handing it to her, Hailey held onto the dime while my daughter was trying to take it. Then Hailey raised her voice at my daughter, saying "You want to put your hands on me?" She created a scene as if we were horrible people. Then she yelled at us in front of everyone never to come back to that store. Believe me - I don't want to. This could have been addressed easily and quickly, but Hailey created a very awful situation by being defensive, rude and immature. And she had told us that she wasn"almost a manager," too! I cannot believe the customer service training teaches employees to act in such an unprofessional and irresponsible manner. read more
