I went for a cake tasting and was pressured into booking that same say in order to save some money. Worst mistake ever. My wedding was this past Saturday and the wedding cake delivered was not the one I paid for. First of all, it was half the size. Secondly, the top layer was lopsided. When I emailed Sylvia about it. She agreed to her mistake and offered me a $350 refund which waa only half of the price I paid. I asked her several times to meet me in person but she only stated that she would have the check there for me to pickup anytime during the store hours. This all happened during my wedding day and honeymoon. As soon as I got back in town, I went to the store and she was there but instead of discussing this with me in person she went to the back and had her employee hand me the check. This was seriously one of the worst services I have ever received. Why couldn't she just discuss this with me and apologize for ruining my wedding. read more

When I first walked in the cold stone it was very nice inside and good Customer service the girls are very sweet and good with people and there is so many flavors to pick but it's worth the money because it's so good and I like how they mix the ice cream in front of you I will come back soon read more

Used to be one of my wife and mine favorite guilty pleasures. Not any more, ok, the price has always been high, we get it.. But the last time we went the girl behind the counter gave us very little ice cream. It didnt even touch the rim of the cup, it was about 1/4 inch below the top. And she put the big lid on it.... Usually its over the cup and touching the lid... I said thats it? The girl said they make us weigh it now.... I said wait, I googled coldstone images and said look at what you guys advertise as a serving, now look at what you gave us?????? She said sorry, the owner here is real tight... I said I have been here about 40 times and never have I ever seen such a small cup and I have never heard the owner was tight wad.. I have been to this location about 20 times last school year when the $1.50 ice cream deal. They would charge $.50 for a topping. But today a very rude, overpaid , young girl that works here told me it would be $1.25 for a topping on a small single scoop that cost $1.50. To spend $7.50 on ice cream and to have a worker who makes, $11.00an hour be rude to me...forget it. I work to hard for my $ to have an under age overpaid girl treat me n my kids that way is unacceptable. Probably the worst cold stone experience ever! And I come to cold stone often just never this one. They were out of everything they had next to no toppings for any of the advertised ice cream creations. The guy forgot my order several times and it was two of the same ice creams with the same topping sprinkles ?!?!? How are you out of fruit, chocolate chips, pie crust, and so many others! First time at this location and never knew it was here. As soon as my mom & I walked in we were welcomed by Gabriel. It was clean and just a few customers enjoying their ice cream. Gabriel said when we were ready to order to ring the bell on the counter. We decided to order and he was available immediately. I've been to many cold stones in my 23 years of life from Alhambra to Rosemead all the way up here to Upland, and honestly i don't know if i should laugh or cry at this location. Onto my review it was out of my way, but i figured what the heck I'll go by because my auntie and uncle own it (2 stars), and they have provided a top tier cake for my sons dedication and birthday (3 stars). But here's where they messed up in my opinion i had a coupon for a creation + mix in dealy (thank you American red cross) and i went to cash it in and the person behind the counter would not honor it (-2stars). 6/12/2019 I ordered an ice cream cake for Father's Day. Decided to use gift cards as a 8" cake is $45.00. The staff I spoke too were very pleasant and helpful. Vanessa did not know how to process gift cards so she asked Sarah to help. Ordered Rasberry Cheesecake (Layers of Yellow Cake, Raspberry Sauce and Cheesecake Ice Cream with Graham Cracker Pie Crust wrapped in fluffy Raspberry Frosting). Asked to pick -up 1:30 ish on Sunday, Father's Day, as we were having breakfast out and we did not know how long it would take.Sarah said no problem. 7 guests expected. I stopped at 1:10 thinking an ice cream cake would be in the freezer. Nope, she was still working on it. Would be ready @ 1:30 not ish. I could not wait, my guests were on the way. Sent my husband back. When we served the cake, I was extremely disappointed! No rasberry sauce or fluffy rasberry frosting, the ice cream was vanilla, not cheesecake, graham cracker stuff went all over the table. The rasberries on the top were beautiful, unfortunately the only thing that alluded to rasberry in the whole cake. Had I paid the full $45.00, I surely would have taken it back! I don't know if it was sub standard because of the gift cards or this is what you should expect when you order something from this Cold Stone location. I just filed a complaint on Cold Stone's website & now this website. I will NEVER, EVER come to this location again. I ordered a gotta-have-it size for my husband & I to share. The guy put such little ice cream in the cup that if you looked at it from the side, you couldn't even tell that there was ice cream in it. The amount of ice cream he gave us wouldn't have even filled a love-it size. We ordered rocky road. Without asking us, the guy put chocolage fudge in our ice cream & we got charged for the additional topping. Rock road is marshmallows & almonds only but instead of getting charged for 2 toppings, we got charged for 3. They should not add more toppings without asking. We paid more than $7 for what we received. In this economy, to pay that much for ice cream you should get a decent amount (especially since you can buy a half gallon from the store for $3). This location is going to continue to lose customers if they keep doing this. I sure hope the guy who made our ice cream gets fired for ripping off the customers!!! read more

This Cold Stone is different from the rest they catered my daughter's sweet 16 birthday and the owner was so great to work with and demonstrated so much passion & professionalism in the final product. Earlier in the day, my husband stopped by Von's and saw several signs outside posting "$1.50 cones today." After dinner he offered family to go get a cold stone ice cream cone, we pilled in car and headed to the store. Once we got there and about to order we were informed that today is Wednesday and $1.50 cones only offered Tuesday's and Thursday's. We showed them the signs posted outside and they simply removed the signs. They offered no apologies. I would have expected at the least they would have given us the advertised special...if not cones on the house. They just stood there and watched us walk out. This was the best experience I've had at cold stone. Annie helped my mom and I out. She was very patient while we decided what we wanted to get and let me try a few flavors to help me decided. She gave suggestions but I ended up going with the Oreo one. She was quick and efficient at mixing and when it got a little busy, she remained calm. The only downside was that they had run out of a handful of toppings but annie was quick to make a suggestion on what to add as a substitution. Would come again. read more

Came here yesterday night to grab ice cream. There was a person ahead of me ordering and only one employee working. However, I see another employee come out the door, talk to the other employee and go to the back. Okay..I'm waiting with my sister and niece. We already know what we want, it's been about 10 minutes. Still waiting.. We finally get helped and people start coming in. Now the other employee comes out to help them even though we have been waiting awhile. While the employee is mixing our ice cream, he starts talking to the other employee aloud. Had the worst customer service EVER.. I got this funnel cake with ice cream and it was given to me in a dixie paper plate and I asked if I Could get a box to go and the girl kept on going back and forth saying she would get me a cake box but didn't. Instead, she got me a small ice cream carton that would not fit the plate with my ice cream and proceeded to say "just dump it in there". No, I didn't pay $6 to 'dump' my ice cream like it's trash. My fiancée and I decided to go on a late night run to satisfy our sweet tooth. We walked in and got caught in a decent-sized line, full of full-sized families who didn't seem to know what they wanted. There was only one young lady, Annie, behind the counter working--actually she was the only employee there period--and she was holding the fort down so well we couldn't even tell she was overwhelmed and frustrated ... until she got to us. Flustered, she still kept things polite and professional, even after the lights went out in the store, and even after more families decided to waltz in shortly before closing. We noticed no one else was giving her any praise or thumbs up for working so well and so hard, despite all the craziness. So we kept telling her she was doing great and to keep up the good work, and in the end we made sure to tip her and ask her how long she's been an employee, because we were sure she'd been there for some years, based on how professional she was. She wasn't rushing anyone or sloppy with making orders, and her body language and expressions didn't reveal any irritation with anyone ... she said she'd only been there A WEEK ! Thank you so much Annie for maintaining your professionalism and pleasant demeanor despite the frustrations of that evening ! You did great and I hope you're rewarded well for your diligence !
