I thought adding more sugar might help, but nope. I honestly think it just needed more cinnamon or a stronger overall flavor. Thankfully, it was only $3.80. I'll probably come back another time and try something else on the menu. I do hope they improve the cafe de olla, though, because that used to be the reason I visited their San Fernando location almost every day on my way to work.

what can i say about this place the service is wack. the one fat indian guy who i think is the manager is so disrespectful. also i heard from some inside sources that the guys running this joint are the same guys running fatburger and that they got caught using cheaper patties from costco in their burgers and expired ranch. i would never return to this place if you payed me to. save your time and money and go get some baskin robins and mcdonalds. read more

Worst Service Ever!! Staff was extremely rude, rolling their eyes, and mumbling under their breathes. I asked for my daughters ice cream to be mixed with sprinkles and the girl refused and only threw the sprinkles on top. Aside from that my ice cream was thrown on the counter top. She told me that she asked me if I wanted the toys and I said no, which wasn't true I literally told her I wanted as pictured. She told me that wasn't true but I could come back and get the toys for $12. She also stated that she had not charged me for the cakes I understand that mistakes happened but I was bothered by the lack of accountability. She could have apologized because either she misunderstood or did not finish the cake instead she gaslit me and was dismissive. I called another baskin and asked if the cakes in their binder are charged additional for the toys and told me that the toys are not an additional charge, the cake price includes the toys. I drove back to the store and when I walked in she said that I was here for the toys and asked her co worker if she could help me but her co worker said no since she was ringing someone else up. The girl had to help me and again told me it'd be $12 for the toys. I told her that I had called another baskin and asked if the toys came included without additional charge which they said yes to. However, she still claimed that the toys were additional charge. I asked her to call her manager but since her manager was not present she called her through her phone which I felt was sketchy. Finally, she came back and after speaking with her manager she told me that just for this once the toys would be free but next time I have to make sure I purchase them. I told her next time she has to tell me if they are or aren't included with the cost. She clearly made a mistake by not including the toys, instead of just giving me the toys since clearly lacks customer service and cannot admit she was in the wrong, she is really trying to charge me for HER mistake. Additionally, yesterday when I purchased from the store she tried to charge me for a double scoop ice cream cup that I had paid for beforehand. I did do two separate orders with more ice cream in the second order but she was hesitant to remove the additional cost of the 1st order even after showing her my receipt. Overall, I felt the girl was very disorganized and unprofessional.
