Great outdoors section with excellent WiFi connection and outlets! Good: Can't really eat anything there since they don't really cater to vegans/vegetarians. They may have some oats, but maybe not. Service is pretty neutral. They do their job, they're friendly and keep the space clean.

Had a nice latte and really yummy breakfast biscuit sandwich! It's all made to order and was during the holidays, so it took a while. It's a beautiful space with lots of natural light to offer a nice space to work from if needed. There's an upstairs space, too. Parking was a bit challenging but I'm sure it's awesome for those within walking distance from this shop. I got some coffee ground up to send as a gift and the recipients were happy to have it!

After getting my flu shot I decided to get breakfast and I want to come here. My first time at this location and I like the store design. It has 2 floors plenty of space for customers to hang out. I ordered a Chicken Sausage Sandwich no egg, Cold Brew, and a Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffin. The barista was friendly and took less than 5 minutes to get my order. Definitely coming back in the near future with my boyfriend

It has been so great to have a Colectivo location closer to home! I regularly frequented another location for years, so when I saw one was opening within walking distance of my apartment, I was stoked. I come here almost weekly. It's a great spot to provide a change of scenery during a WFH day, catch up with a friend, or enjoy a good book. The location can be a bit busy, but I've never not been able to find seating. Colectivo's menu is large, offering something for everyone. I am a big fan of the iced cold brew oatchata, sausage/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich on an english muffin, and the chocolate chip pumpkin loaf. They also have great warm breakfast options, teas, and yummy smoothies. This location is beautiful with lots of natural light and ample seating, as mentioned above. There is an upstairs lofted area if you want somewhere less close to where folks are ordering or picking up their items. There are two restrooms as well that do not require a passcode. My only point for growth is that not all of the employees are as welcoming as others. As a former barista, I know that there are difficult days when it's hard to be cheerful and expressive. A basic greeting is better than nothing, and a small smile goes a long way. I look forward to coming back regularly and enjoying my treats!!!

I came here because I saw an event about face painting for National Coffee Month. Unfortunately I arrived too late with my family so we missed it. However, I still wanted to try thier coffee. I ended up getting the Earl Grey Spritzer which is grey tea with vanilla cold foam. I really enjoyed it, it was just the right mix of sweet(slightly lemony) with a hint of vanilla. If you purchased a minimum of 20 dollars; you get a free tote. It was a cute little beige bag that had colectivos name so that was an added bonus. The coffee shop has two floors and although it is bigger than most; I didn't have much room for my double stroller. The bathroom itself is very clean so big ups for that and they had a changing table. The coffee shop itself seems like a nice place to study or get work done as it is not very loud. I would return just to try the other spritzers because those are a hit!

New location near Brown line Damen station. Stopped by hanging out with a friend from Andersonville. Unfortunately the doors off Lawrence isn't working yet, so you'll need to use the side entrance. It was absolutely beautiful and classic Collectivo inside. Drinks are expected for the chain and the everything was clean. The up stairs seating area even has its own trash can by the stairs.

I've been to many locations of Colectivo in both Chicago and Milwaukee. This is why I was excited to try their new location in Ravenswood. I live near to this location, so I was excited to have a location so close to me. I have to say that I was disappointed. My wife and I went late on a Sunday morning. The coffee shop did not seem very busy. My wife ordered a hot mocha. I ordered nothing. I felt like the coffee shop itself was nicer than some of the other locations in Chicago. While the decor was the similar to other locations, this location seemed to have a lot more natural light which made for a pleasant atmosphere. However, the service turned out to be very poor. First, it too way too long to make my wife's drink. It was a total of 20 minutes between the time she ordered and time she received her drink. She got concerned when she noticed that people who placed their order after her were receiving their drinks before her. They only made her drink after she asked one of the baristas about the status of her drink. Second, they made the incorrect drink. She ordered a hot mocha, but she received an iced mocha. The order label on her drink even stated the drink was a hot mocha. According to my wife, there was nothing wrong with drink itself and she decided to keep the drink rather than ask the staff to remake it and risk an even longer wait. While this experience is not a deal breaker for this location, it will definitely make me think twice about going here in the future.

Finally made it to this new location, which is conveniently located on Lawrence near the Ravenswood Metra stop. I was lured in by the sign advertising a free latte if you download the app, but I never did get a free latte. In any case, the space is large and inviting, with lots of people working from the shop. There are lots of fun different drink flavors, and snacks to eat. I like how they have sparkling water on tap as well.

Well, unfortunately I couldn't really eat anything. I'm nondairy. I can't eat nightshade vegetables…read moreincluding red bell peppers which are all over the menu here. And I don't eat meats that are made with nitrates. So that knocks out the whole sandwich menu. Oh and I just don't like mushrooms. It's not their problem! Believe me, I know I'm a hot mess. You can't just order a sandwich with chicken and arugula because everything is pre-made and the chicken diced up and is already mixed with red bell peppers, more like a chicken salad sandwich, rather than just a piece of chicken breast waiting for some bread and accoutrements which is what I expected after reading the menu on my phone the day before choosing it for a visit. So it's impossible to get a custom sandwich where you pick and choose what's on it. But they were extremely nice answering all my questions about the food. I could maybe get some focaccia and a side of broccoli if I was desperate and nothing else was open. But I was in no rush and just went home and made something for myself. But my partner really enjoyed it so I'm glad we stopped by to check it out. It's definitely unique and convenient if you don't have so many food allergies like I do. I had already had my coffee fix for the day so I neglected to ask if they have nondairy milk options. There's limited seating inside but lots outside if the weather's nice! Cute little place.

In the warmer months they offer outdoor seating so it expands the number of people that can dine-in. The restaurant is colorful and refreshing. It gives Italy in the Summer, it makes you want to wear a sundress and sip fresh lemonade. Food: During my visit I ordered the Arancini Porcini which a fried Risotto ball filled different ingredients. It came with two balls which is perfect because it made it easy to share. I also ordered a slice of the Sfincione Chicago Style pizza which is a Sicilian style pizza with Italian sausage, green peppers and mushrooms. You can tell they invest in the quality of their food because everything tasted fresh. Overall: I highly recommend visiting Sfera Sicilian Street Food at least once. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is very cute. They don't have a lot of indoor seating so be prepared to wait for a table if you plan to dine-in but the neighborhood invested in a lot of community benches if you opt for a to-go order.

I love to…read morecook and often find myself wanting to make little tweaks to what I'm eating on the rare occasion that I go to a restaurant. From the first bite everything was perfect. Incredible balance of flavors. The crisp finely shredded hash blanketed in quick scrambled eggs and dressed to perfection with chili crisp and slaw made me exclaim aloud with pleasure from the first bite. The cookie has a beautiful variety of textures- crunchy edges with a perfectly restrained sprinkling of coarse sugar on top, a soft center and a lightly browned bottom. Just the right amount of sweetness to bring out but not overpower the corn and berry flavors. The person waiting on me was warm and patient and helped me analyze the hot sauces, which I ended up not needing because my dish was so perfectly executed. This place is a work of art. Please come here. It is so clear that a huge amount of work, vision and love have gone into making this place possible. They truly deserve your business. Oh and for the level of delicious the prices are great. I am frugal with the money I spend food but I would have been racked with guilt to give them a penny less than what they charged.

I love the cozy neighborhood vibe and ambiance, unique food choices, tasty cocktails, and fresh baked goods. I had a delicious (and strong) Irish coffee with a fantastic kale and lemon feta quiche (omg), and my beau enjoyed a wonderfully tangy Bloody Mary with a fresh plate of bagel and lox (and excellent spicy "Chi-kraut"). I was impressed by the portion size, fresh flavors, and food / drink presentation. Love that it has an inside and a patio for warmer weather. Truly a neighborhood gem. So glad I came and plan to come again in the future for more unique flavors. Highly recommend!

I doubt anyone leaves feeling less jolly than they did going in. On this visit, I started with the After Word to drink. It was light-bodied, not at all too sweet, and possibly went down *too* easily. We split the short rib poutine and I can't think of a better dish to get you through the winter. The meat absolutely melted in the mouth and the cheese was abundant and rich. Would order again in a heartbeat! We also tried the alligator bites as a seasonal special. I'd not had alligator before, but they were super crispy and spicy with an addictive gochujang sauce. It really does taste like chicken. If you've ever wanted to try alligator, this is the place to do it. For the main event, I opted for the red beans and rice hand pie. It came with a light, citrus salad and delicious hand cut fries with 3 dipping sauces, which were very fun to try. I loved the buttery pie crust but the filling tasty very tomato forward- I was missing the heat of a traditional red beans & rice and wished there was more seasoning. Still good. As usual, the portions were generous for the price and we left with leftovers. Absolutely recommend making the trek over here to give B&B a try, and will be back soon!

The servers are always really laid back, and nothing feels rushed. I think it's part of the charm; somewhere to go and relax and take your time to enjoy the vibe. And you know what would help the vibe even more? Including the bread pudding on the menu full time. Keeping that bad boy stocked for me at all times. (This time was my first time seeing it on the specials menu and listen, it WAS special. So special that you should upgrade it to mainstay is all.)
