This is the meat lovers omelet with home fries, plus homemade sour dough toast.

Exact place to eat. Excellent size portions. Recommend calling to ensure they have seating. Well worth the wait. One person show, very nice. Freely answers any questions. Look on the chalkboard coming in for daily specials.

This is a very local place that has been a local diner for over 50 years with the current owner celebrating 17 years in January of 2001 This is a wonderful little place with a counter, a few booths and the grill insight The owner gets there early like 4am every day to make the fresh breads and bagels which are wonderful This is a very local place with self service coffee and a standard menu with daily features hand written on the chalk board Highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic local breakfast for about $5 a person or so

I can respect a business that follows through on their expectations of their business model and clientele. At Coleen's kitchen, you see that right on the cover of their menu: profanity, loud noises (and children), and cell phone ringtones are not tolerated. On the other side of that coin, Coleen herself enforces these rules and backs up her quality through her great service and food. It took me a little while one morning to realize that I was being served by Coleen herself. Her sassy and quick witted responses reflect the amusing decor that I noticed while eating. Also, she knew every patron's name that came through the door. I know Brockport isn't a large town but I was really impressed by that. Lastly, she handled seating, taking orders, and also cooking the food with grace and efficiency. You can definitely see the pride and sweat equity involved in this place from her. Now, on with the food. I ordered the Sausage Omelette with Wheat Toast. Damn, it was good. The serving size was perfect and she didn't hold back on the meat! It had a good mix of veggies and didn't taste like an over-oiled mess. Awesome! In other breakfast spots I'm used to having toast loaded with so much butter that it's a soggy pancake by the time its served. NOPE. It was lightly buttered and crispy, just the way I like it! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and was sad that I couldn't finish it all. Well, challenge accepted. I'll finish it the next time I'm in town, because this is where I'll go from now on for breakfast. If I do eat it all, I'll do a victory whistle! Wait, that's not allowed here, is it?

Food was good, small quaint place.

I enjoyed my food. It's a one person show, but which makes it unique. Would definitely go back when in the area.

What can I say, the food was phenomenal, large portions with good fair prices. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful strawberry/banana pancakes to go with REAL maple syrup. Just fantastic. Not flavored, pieces of banana and strawberries in a light and fluffy batter. Well worth the drive if you don't actually live in the area. This lady knows how to cook breakfast ! This is one of three on a 10" dinner plate.

Enjoyed the large portions. Very tasty. We went on weekday morning so it was slower. But service was great too!

4-egg veggie omelette with side of homefries...YUM!

Great breakfast spot! Coleen is truly one of a kind....not only does she own the establishment but she also is the only cook, hostess, cleaner, etc. She's got things down pat! With Covid right now you have to call ahead as her seating is limited but it's never been a problem getting a table. She also does take out if you want it. Oh! She not only does everything there....she also bakes all the breads fresh daily! Soooo good! Homemade fresh bread can't be beat! And she doesn't skimp. The portion sizes are always big! My husband and I always have enough to take home for breakfast the next morning. We've gotten her 4-egg....YES! 4 egg omelette and her French Toast. The French Toast is two slices of heaven that take up an entire dinner plate and the bread is thicker than the fork! And the maple syrup is real maple syrup and the coffee if from a local roaster. Can't get any better than this! We love this place and are sad we're only in town in the summertimes or else we'd be here more often.

Coleen's is an excellent place to get a casual breakfast or lunch. Coleen bakes her own pastries and bread in the morning, and makes amazing soups, quesadillas, and sandwiches from scratch for lunch. It's a particularly good place for gluten-free diners. Coleen goes out of her way to make sure she has GF options, including rice wraps for lunch quesadillas and even french toast and pancakes! She's also careful about cross contamination and checking ingredients. Definitely worth the trip if you are very sensitive to gluten, or even if you aren't and you just love great food for a great price. Cash only!

It is simply put, everything you would want from a breakfast/luncheonette.

I have enjoyed Cafe's all over the world, from Hong Kong to Croatia. This place is my Favorite!! Absolutely perfect. I have fallen in love. The daily made fresh bread, the rich soups and specialties, and warm hospitality, you will feel as if you have stumbled upon something perfect that is known only to you. I give this place my highest recommendation!! CW

Steven and Megan are a proper fun duo behind the bar but their skills really stand out. My only negative is HOW EXPENSIVE the drinks are. You have to remember that this is an experience and enjoy every moment but be prepared for a steep bar/restaurant bill. We will definitely be back again. We are locals and have so few lakefront dining/drinking venues that this is a nice place to enjoy the views with a mix of local wines and international, spirits and beers. Cin Cin!

Would give them 3.5 stars. Agree with some other reviews that the view and atmosphere is nice but…read morenot worth the upsale price. We came as a larger group and they were nice enough for us to order from the breakfast menu as they switched over the lunch menu at 11:30am. Our table enjoyed the food but all agreed it wasn't worth the price point. I tried the chocolate croissant with homemade butter and maple bacon jam along with the Canadian bacon Benedict. The chocolate croissant was nice with the maple bacon jam but definitely not worth the price point of $12. The croissant was quite smaller, like the chocolate croissants you can get from Costco or Starbucks. The Canadian bacon eggs Benedict however was delicious and I really enjoyed it! I just am not sure again it was worth the high price point. However I definitely felt the service was missing. As we were the only ones in the dining area, I felt the service was missing the mark. The server saw we were carrying a baby in the restaurant but didn't ask if we wanted a high chair. My mother-in-law spied it in the corner and then we had to ask for it and we proceeded to set it up at the table. As I was with 2 young kids, I ordered some simple items before the main course like their chocolate croissant and fruit cup. I assumed the server would ask if we wanted those ahead of time but that didn't happen. He also had forgotten my son's drink order and which my son actually had to ask him after some time "where's my juice?" My older son had ordered the s'mores waffles and it looked good when it was delivered but as I cut some of it for me to try later on, I soon realized the batter was uncooked in the middle of most of them. I was thoroughly disappointed he had eaten some of it before I discovered it was uncooked. The server throughly apologized and they remade the order which in the end, we ended up taking home with us. They also didn't take the order off the check for us which normally that would happen. For such a classy restaurant, we would think they would know how to make waffles and for more top-notch service. I think next time we will just enjoy the nice views and choose to eat somewhere else when we are in the area.

The service is outstanding, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly--a combination that keeps me coming back. On my first visit, I ordered the Three Brothers Special, which lets you choose three different meats and two sides. I went with chicken, brisket, and ribs, and let me tell you--every bite was packed with smoky, tender, fall-off-the-bone goodness. It was the kind of meal that makes you sit back and appreciate great barbecue. Since that night, I've returned four or five more times. And here's the thing--I don't live in Brockport. I live in Pittsford, a solid 30-minute drive away. But when you find a place that not only serves amazing food but also makes you feel truly welcomed, it's worth the extra miles. Sue, my server on my first visit, made sure I felt at home, and the rest of the staff has continued that same welcoming energy every time I've returned. I've even made a few friends--regulars who recognize me now, and say hello whenever walk in. This restaurant holds a special place in my heart. After a long, stressful day, when I need to unwind and reset, I don't hesitate--I set my navigation to 58 Main BBQ & Brew and take the trip. Because sometimes, great food is just food. But when it's served with genuine kindness and a sense of belonging, it becomes something more. If you're looking for phenomenal barbecue, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot. Five stars, every time. My Order: 3 Brother's Special: comes with three meats. I chose half a chicken, ribs and brisket. My two sides were macaroni, salad and coleslaw. It also comes with a side of cornbread, which was delicious.

Another wanted Medium and got Medium Rare. Someone else wanted mac salad and got mac&cheese. Someone got a burger and it was blackened! I ordered medium buffalo wings and the sauce didn't taste right at all. Same for the blue cheese/ranch/i don't even know because taste was so off! Plus wings were also overdone. 1hr wait time and I get they were busy - we were chatting during this time as well. Noise volume was ok and not really has changed throughout the years but definitely might need a new chef. Also saw the kitchen violations - should've checked the seating too. One of us almost got hurt due to a broken chair. Someone else had a wobbly chair as well.
