Took my truck there for a diagnostics and they had it 2 days to tell me a sensor was bad that wasnt. I picked it up paid the diag fee and went a proceeded to change the part they said was bad, nothing changed... I called them back and told them that nothing changed and that wasnt the issue and asked about bringing it back in. I was told to bring it back in on Monday. I asked if I was gonna be charged again and if so how much and was told we would figure it out just to bring it back on Monday. I called them Monday morning to see about any fees to make sure I had the money or not. Figured they would at least do me a solid and check a few more things for me either free or discounted... they said to bring it in and it would be the full diag fee all over again... at this point, if they truly checked what they said they did the first time then there wouldn't be much left to check.. I wasnt trying to rush them and was willing to drop it off until they got to it.. but thats a little ridiculous that they already had it for 2 days and couldn't provide me any read out of what they checked or even any proof that they did or not. Then to try and charge me the full fee all over again to check just a few more things was crazy. I won't be using them anymore. read more

As far as I can see Coleman auto repair is no longer the same as when Dennis ran the place, can't seem to fix anything since he retired and has a nasty attitude toward customers, and charges for work not quested, and I have to add a star to get my review posted, which c should be all minus stars. read more

Coleman's has never did me wrong. I've been taking cars up there for about 10 years. Im lucky, mine is basic wear and tear. My son has a lemon Ford Fusion that just loves to cause problems. Coleman's fixed it up about a month ago with a massive oil leak. Everyone is easy to deal and explains the problems without making you feel like an idgit. I absolutely recommend them for your car's needs!! read more

How can I rate someone as having respect for customers, concern for responsibility, or good service, if a vehicle brought there to be repaired, is still there after months. Customers have the right to remove their car; but that's no excuse for a business to ignore a customer's vehicle and just make excuses about being understaffed. If your understaffed, be responsible and respectful enough to not take on a vehicle you intend to ignore. Obviously some customers matter and others don't. ​​ read more

I had my ac compressor replaced by another mechanic then told my evap coil needed to be replaced (another $1400). I dropped my car off at Coleman's to have the evap coil replaced (8 to 10 hr job)...Asked him to check it out incase o f misdiagnosis...about 2 hrs later and $170 they call me to advise car is done ac blowing cold....ac system was overcharged. Found my new mechanic...As a single woman, a good mechanic you can trust is important!!! read more

We finally found an honest auto repair. Dennis is very good at what he does. This is a family owned business. They do amazing work!

Took my Grand Cherokee in for work. They took 4 days for a 2 day job and when I picked it up, they told me my dash had got broke when taking it apart.....got in it and it had been all broken up and cheaply and sloppily put back together. Glue lumps and big cracks all over the dash......and up in the passenger airbag area !!! Had to go on long trip the day I picked it up, and it rattled inside dash and steering column the whole 16 hour trip !!!! They are awful !!! Plus charged full price for work after all this !!!! read more

Coleman auto repair rocks. Without complete details. Dennis Coleman is one of the most top notched technicians I've ever met (east coast to west coast). Not to mention the care and best interest he has for his customers. His wife Ronda who works the front office is just as genuine and a real comfort to be in the presence of. I would trust no other with my vehicles. Thanks Coleman bunch. Definitely the best choice for N.E. Florida. Any chance of expanding to California? Coleman auto apparently only wants business that is convenient for them. I talked to a lady on the phone who told me they could look at my car as soon as it got there and even though I was about 15 minutes away from the shop they would give me a ride home. I got there and spoke to a guy who I'm pretty sure was Mr. Coleman. He told me that they wouldn't get to looking at my car till midday and they would not give me a ride home because I was too far. They don't work on Saturday and he would not work with me at all to be able to get me home or figure out a way to get my car dropped off when I had a ride. I cannot comment on their repair service because they didn't want my business enough to work with me. Waste of my time. read more

I stopped by Coleman Auto Repair to have the brakes fixed. I was told that they could not get to it until Wednesday of the following week, so I scheduled an appointment with them for first thing Wednesday morning. I bring the truck in first thing Wednesday morning and Mr. Coleman's wife tells me the truck should be done about 1pm. I come back a little after 1pm and my truck is still sitting in the same spot, so I assume that they are finished and just re parked it there. When I go inside to pay the bill, the owner, Mr. Coleman, tells me that they have not even started the work on my truck. When I question him about the 1pm completion time, he becomes offensive and denies that anyone told me it would be done by 1pm. At this point I cut my losses, collected my keys from him and left. In hind sight though, what is the point of scheduling an appointment if they are not going to fix your vehicle when they tell you they will? The bottom line here is that Mr. Coleman has zero professionalism, zero people skills and the business as a whole has poor communication among the employees. As I was leaving, Mr. Coleman informed me that I could leave, but that he was the best mechanic in town. read more

The work was completed satisfactorily except the warranty on the labor and parts were not honored with less than 100 miles on the vehicle the same problem with the vehicle started up again and I was told 180.00 to Warranty the work already paid for, I am very disappointed with this Shop as it was the plug on the part replaced by their shop read more

i would have given no stars but unfortunately you have to put at least one in order to wright a review. I took my car into there shop like i have done many of times, this time for my car over heating and they supposedly couldn't find why it was over heating nor could they get it to run hot for them. They only charged me for my oil change since that is all that was done. After paying for the oil change I get into my car to head to work and I didn't even get five minutes away from Coleman's and my car starts over heating. I pulled over on the side of the road immediately, and call Coleman's instantly to let them know that the car they couldn't get to over heat is already over heating and I need someone to come pick it up on Blanding Blvd. They charged me to have it towed back to Coleman's plus a diagnostic fee to look at my car. But unfortunately it was to late and now my car has blown a head gasket. So I am out a vehicle, towing cost and diagnostic fee. Because obviously it wasn't a blown head gasket before I left there shop since they couldn't find what was wrong with it. I just can not understand how they can say they looked at my car and moments later its doing the same thing it was before I brought it into the shop. And when I questioned the guy who owns the company, about how can he expect me to pay for towing and diagnostic fees when I wasn't even five minutes down the road, he got very defensive and rude. So I contacted the better business bureau with no acknowledgement. The only good thing I can say about Coleman's is almost everytime I have had Coleman's do work on my car they have had to fix there work several times before it is actually fixed and they don't charge for the parts but they do charge you for the labor. Would like to give 0 stars. My first experience with them we drove my Tahoe up there for what we thought was the flywheel making a noise. The mechanic calls and states he wants to buy the Tahoe, we decline next morning he calls again requests to buy truck again we decline. Next call we receive is the Tahoe's motor is shot, and we owe 400 dollars for them taking everything apart,but we can just sign over the title and they'll call it even. Umm no. Drove my truck there, had it towed home. Second time against my better judgment father in-law takes car up there for a rear wheel bearing , they call tell us why everything is apart they can do brakes for 175. Husband declined says he can do it himself. So pick up car it's still shimmying and popping (Brakes work great , stop on dime) we take it back up there about popping noise 1st question they ask is if we got them brakes fixed. We say no, they work great, he grunts. Fast forward they fix a u-joint ,I pick up the car, guess what ? Brakes dont work. They go to the floor, hardly stop. These people ate crooked , conniving. They will NEVER get anymore of mine ,my friends or families business. And I strongly urge anyone considering to use them , please find another place. read more
