Stopped in for a few drinks on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, it was late enough that they had already closed the kitchen. So, we didn't get to try any food, but the bar area was clean, there was a variety of seating, plenty of TVs, and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. She was prompt with our drinks and quick to offer switching games for us when she saw us craning to watch a corner TV. The parking lot is smaller and gravel, but there's space for several cars. The interior is exactly how you'd imagine a corner bar - dark, but welcoming. read more

Staff is friendly, management is the absolute worst. Food is decent, but the lack of respect and attention from the male manager is extremely rude and disappointing. Apparently you can't POLITELY complain about your order to him. Little does he know we record our phone conversations and after working my entire adult life in customer service know to complain with tact. He had absolute none. Long story short, we placed a take out order and the one meal was prepared incorrectly. Once home we found out and called and spoke to a very nice young lady who got the manager. We were very friendly and stated the one meal was wrong. The male manager asked how we paid and we said by card so he asked if we wanted it refunded to the card on file. We said yes and he hung up. So, we called back and said we were accidentally hung up on and he says "no I did not accidentally hang up, was there anything else we needed" and we said no, so he hung up again. Such a poor display of management. Absolutely 100% disrespectful. No apologies for them getting our order wrong and to be treated like this will never be back. Word will spread fast but unfortunately he doesn't seem to care since their parking lot was full. I'll be sure to deter anyone from patronizing this nastiness. Insult to injury, we even gave a $5 tip (15%) for OUR efforts. Look at my reviews... majority are 4 plus stars. I'd give zero for the way we were treated. read more

Very underwhelmed. Server/bartender appears to be very busy. Appears... Took her over 10 mins. to drop off a menu. Took another party's drink orders but skipped me. Came back to tell me the beer list was on a board across the room. She apparently didn't know what was on the list. So took several more minutes for her to return to get my order. Didn't know the cost to add on a side "roughly $3". Well it was $6 for a cup of mac & cheese. That was more like flour, pasta cheese soup. This place sorely needs a visit from Gordon Ramsay and he should yell and curse at the staff and whip them into shape. Do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else to eat or drink. read more

Local restaurant/pub in North Fayette Township that's a a great spot for lenten Friday. The negative side being unless you're lucky to snag a table at the bar, you're in for a bit of a wait in a tiny area or outside. Once you get past that initial hurdle, it really is quite a local gem. Food is good with generous sized portions. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the place is bustling, as they must see 4 or 5 hours of nonstop service. If you're a beer lover like me, they have a great rotating draft list. I was very surprised to see 3 Floyds, Double Nugget Nectar, Hitchhiker, and Dancing Gnome to name a few. read more

Been here twice for A fish sandwich, and the broasted chicken.Both were excellent. The fish had a thin breading on it that was tasty and crispy, while the fish itself was cooked to perfection. Cole slaw was homemade and great. Even the tartar sauce-was homemade and delicious . Most places have the thick doughy coating on their fried fish, but this is much tastier......much tastier! The broasted chicken was the same, among the best I've tasted anywhere. Whoever cooks here knows their stuff, as the food is a cut above. A MUST stop for lunch or dinner whenever out this way.GOOD, GOOD food. Excellent, homemade food. I had the cold meatloaf sandwich on fresh Mancini's bread, fresh cut fries and side of slaw- slightly sweet. The others with me also looked their food: cheeseburger, stuffed hot pepper sandwich. Everything was great! Open for indoor and outdoor seating. Service was decent. Huge portions. No complaints. This is a small bar/pub in Imperial. It's half bar with some high tops and half resturant with booths and tables. This was out first time trying them. We both had the seafood platter and we both though everything was excellent. The platter is as more food than I could eat and it was only $15. The service was fast and friendly. We were there last night and it was just awful. The waitress was horrible. We never got refills, never got silverware, waited for 15 min for her to bring our check and to-go boxes...finally we had to get our own to-go boxes just like we had to get our own silverware and napkins. She should have left us the tip. It's ashame too because this used to be one of our favorite spots to go to. This is the second time we went and the food was sub-par. The food is great but keep in mind, it is a bar, nothing fancy or overly clean. The servers, well, I'm sure they have been there for a long time but they are not the nicest or most pleasant, at least the ones I have had. I find it gross when you can smell the cigarette smoke on a server when having your meal placed in front of you but I don't know that they realize they smell that way. Takeout has never been an issue but ordering dine-in always seems to have errors. Drink refills are exceptionally slow as well as receiving utensils. I wouldn't say don't go but just don't have high expectations and you won't be disappointed. read more

What a fun place! The beer selection here is unparalleled to any other establishment in the area. Several local craft brews and several different types of beer. The newly renovated bar area has increased bar front space, and there is new tv's to watch the games. The homemade food is also very good. I very much recommend this bar. Coles Pub is not the typical dive bar in the local area, rather it's become a great establishment to enjoy a cold tasteful beer and grab a nice bite to eat. It is the best pub in the West Allegheny area by far. The smoke-free aspect is also a good touch! read more

My wife and I visited Coles Pub for the first time. Coles is about five miles from my house. Coles had a nice large bar that was fairly full on a Friday Happy Hour. The owner came over because I sat at a bar table and she didn't have a waitress yet. She sent a waitress over from the dining room. Waitress was very friendly. Plenty of craft beers on tap. My wife got the wings. One order comes in groups of 8. I had one of her wings and they were done to perfection. I had the meatball hoagie which was considered a Coles speciality. Meatballs were very good! Wish there would have been a few more fries. This is a nice hidden gem in Imperial. I would definitely return. place had nice character. read more
