Food was very good. Staff seemed very overwhelmed. Waited for too long just to have my order taken. Of course this was on a weekend so I will cut them some slack. Just pushed the limits of food quality vs service.

My kids and I were very excited to try this place out. We went for lunch and ate in the restaurant. First, I will start by saying the pastries are AMAZING! Huge variety and absolutely delicious! The lunch was fair. Servings are small and meh on flavor. The prices are outrageous for what you get. I ordered avo toast with an egg... I think it was 12.50 for one slice of flimsy, un-toasted bread, with avo that tasted like it was from a container and one tiny egg. My kids had chicken strips with fries (17.50 each). We also ordered onion rings and fried mozzarella sticks. We literally spent $125 for lunch ( 3 of us - and each had a pastry too) and walked out feeling pretty let down. So - GO for the pastries. And if you don't mind mediocre food for a very high price - have a meal. Place is clean and cute too! Service was ok.. kinda slow if im being honest.

Not happy. Christmas Eve picking up my gluten free orange rolls and gluten-free cinnamon rolls thinking I have one last thing to cook tonight but of course I was wrong! My husband picked them up not only weren't they cooked the instructions are vague. I literally had a call back and get more instructions on how to bake them lid on lid off etc. And it was $70 I about fell to the floor when my husband told me he paid for it are you crazy?! Six orange rolls and six cinnamon rolls $70 bucks I don't think so. I think for a future if anybody wants to buy from here maybe tell them you have to bake them because that would've been helpful in me reserving my spot to pick them up. There's no way on earth I would have picked them up Christmas Eve if I would've known I had to bake them it's just too crazy too busy and with family it's even more chaotic.

The food here is excellent! Quality and flavor are outstanding! My 2 gkids both need to eat GF, and at 13 & 10 years old respectively, they adore this place!

Fully dedicated gluten and peanut free restaurant, and they have a little shop with bakery items, frozen items, fresh bread, and other treats. The wait staff were friendly. Restrooms were clean, and the ambiance matched the cute cafe vibe. I haven't had onion rings since going gluten free 12 years ago, and they were amazing!!! I don't mind asking about gluten free when I go out, but it was such a cool experience to not have to think about it at all.

Coles Bakery is a must try dedicated gluten free restaurant! Couldn't be more satisfied and guilt free! Can't wait to go back to try their pasta. Also bought a loaf of bread and a cinnamon roll for later Everything tasted great! No AC so it was definitely warm inside and there was a bit of a wait but it was worth it!

Loved the gluten free vegan options. I ended up getting the dirty fries with barbecue jackfruit and vegan cheese sauce. So good! Went home with a chocolate cupcake, which was a bit on the dry side, and some coconut chocolate concoction that was fantastic. Will totally go here again!

Holy sweet gluten free goodness! And if your Keto, that goodness as well! Everything in here is GF, peanut free, Keto, vegan, sugar free friendly! They had pastries actually in the case ( we always find GF pastries sold out or frozen) They have food menus! Lasagna, raviolis, chicken parm! They have beer, cider and wine. To include Keto seltzer. No complaints! Staff was knowledgeable, friendly. Pastries were AMAZING.

Bathrooms are clean and smell good. They have lots of seating and friendly staff. Well lit and easy to read menu. Casual dinning setting. Great for a coffee date or work lunch. Everything is Gluten free. The fried food to sandwiches and desserts. The. Food it amazing. Great flavor! Started with delicious mozzarella sticks. The lasagna was amazing and we split one portion and had plenty for both. We got three desserts: the lemon bar, chocolate cherry cheesecake, and a magic bar. They all were amazing!!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone on a V, GF, DF or keto friendly diet restriction or anyone who wants good food. The staff was friendly, prompt, courteous and very helpful. Always had a smile. We plan to go back again and again!!

Really tasty, and you can pick out a healthy or sugary dessert on the way out in the bakery. Would come back again!

What type of sweetener is used in the Keto desserts?

    Monkfruit and Erythritol

I understand that it is all GF, however are there wheat free options for those allergic to wheat but not the Gluten protein? Such as items made with Almond or Cocoanut Flour?

Everything is Wheat free as well. We do not use any wheat or gluten in any of our products. We use rice flour, almond, coconut, millet, sorghum and other ones.

Are there calorie counts on keto pastries?

We use carb manager and carbs are in the receipt too.

I heard this place has keto pastries, is that true?

Yep! We have lots of keto pastries and a delicious mocha Frappuccino. Come check us out!

However, Luna does offer a lot of things for this price. You have a pleasant neighborhood restaurant vibe, with friendly attentive service and excellent, healthy food sourced from good places. As with anything in Spokane, you will see folks in very casual attire, but this is also a place where you can dress up. When we went, there were several tables of women friends (all ages), many family groups (without young kids or with well-behaved kids), and older couples. I was in the mood for salmon and they did a great version. It should be though for just under $50. It was served with black rice (good) and roasted carrots (good) and a carrot puree (really good but not enough on the plate). My dining companion got the scallops, and they were even more expensive than the salmon. $48 for TWO scallops. Ok, they are large, and well-cooked, and came with a lovely vegetable mix and couscous, but that's a lot of $ for Spokane. We are from CA and that's even a shocker for us. Dessert: they had recently added a banana pudding, which was good. It replaced a chocolate dessert--and that was a bad move because there is no intense chocolate on the menu. We also tried the coconut cake with lemon curd. There was not enough curd; it was barely a tang. The cake itself was a little dry. It is served with house-made ice cream, which balances the dryness but the cake should be good on its own. Apparently, this is their most popular dessert. I am a chocolate-first person. I like coconut. I like good vanilla. I really like lemon curd and a sweet-sour pairing. For me, this item felll short.

We told the server it tasted burnt & old so she offered to make a fresh pot. It was just as bad, when she asked we said it was still really yucky and she said that a lot of people don't care for it. I ordered the tamale waffle. The beef was great, eggs were a bit overcooked but no biggie, the waffle was really hard and dry. It needs some sort of crema sauce or something. It wasn't horrible by any stretch but it wasn't great either. My mom got the veggie breakfast burrito and she liked the veggies though it was bland, felt like it could have had more sour cream & cheese. It was massive and came with a side. The added 16% service fee is some real BS. It says on the receipt that it's split between the server & the kitchen staff. Call me old fashioned but I thought it was on the restaurant to pay their staff a living wage. At $18 a breakfast plate & $4 for drip coffee you should be able to pay your staff. And then we're supposed to tip on top of that? Nope.

We always make it a point to get the beignets from Francaise when we come to Spokane, so on this trip we decided to stop in for dinner. Francaise has a warm inviting "dining room" vibe that gives comfort to its guest. The exposed brick, warm lighting and plants really set the tone for intentional conversation and intimate dinners. While we did come on a night that seemed like they were short staff, our servers were still checking in and very accommodating with how busy it was. We ordered the Pain Maison, Black Truffle French Fries, Risotto à la Forestière, Steak Frites*and Grand Marnier Croissant Bread Pudding. Pain Maison - 7/10 I think the bread was good, I do wish it had been a bit warmer and that there would have been a flavor to the butter. Black Truffle French Fries - 10/10 These were executed so well. The fries on their own carried a lot of flavor, and the truffle took it to another level. We could have easily eaten another basket. Risotto à la Forestière - 8/10 I stole a few bites off of my wife's plate. There were portions of the duck that were a bit dry, but overall it was very tasty. The risotto carried a lot of flavor and the white wine sauce finished everything nicely. Steak Frites - 7/10 I did end up switching my fries to the Robuchon potatoes because they sounded so good and they were. As far as the steak itself, it was cooked to perfection, but I did not enjoy the blue cheese-cognac butter like I thought I would have. There was a charred sweetness to it that I was not expecting (completely on me) and it made me wish I had just ordered the steak itself. Grand Marnier Croissant Bread Pudding - 9/10 The ice cream completely took this dessert to the stars! The Bread pudding in itself had a hard outer layer with a soft and flavorful inner layer, and the combination with the salted caramel ice cream was delicious.  I think that Francaise would be a great place to do Hors D'oeuvres along with drinks and dessert along with friends or for a date- I am curious to try their short rib and think I will make it a point to do so when we come back.
