They offer the option of one or two Benedict, which is nice if you aren't super hungry. They also give the option to smother the hashbrowns and cheese, which I obviously opted into. The menu is absolutely massive though, so if Benedict's or even breakfast aren't your jam, you should be able to find something that suits your fancy. Wait to get in is long but the line moves quickly and there is free coffee while you wait. Food is big and delicious and served hot and ready to eat, just as a good diner does. Ambience is rail car style. This one is in an old diner car and we sat at the counter, the only way to go. You can watch the food being prepared. Pancakes are fluffy. Omelets (salmon & cream cheese), Hash browns are generous in quantity and soft inside and crispy on the outside. Biscuits are big and fluffy and slightly grilled on the flat top. Excellent. Get huckleberries with you breakfast for the pancakes or biscuits. Service is very good. This place is busy so one has to be patient. Food is worth the wait. Our bill for big breakfasts for two was $40 bucks before a generous tip. We'll come back next time in Spokane, they've been around (2 locations) for 30 years! It was delicious and fun! read more

Loved loved loved the establishment; it was just so cute! I sort of have a thing for converted train cars, so when I spotted this place on Yelp I really wanted to go. The inside is so ornate and beautiful. Even the added bathrooms they put a lot of thoughtful care into ensuring it was thematically matching the rest, like the wallpaper and wainscoting and antique fixtures. This place also has a really amazing menu with so many options to choose from. I was especially happy cuz I find eggs Benedict tasty and they have several varieties. I will say that the pricing though feels pretty steep for the fare that you receive. One egg for $15 or two for $20? Oof. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious. I'm just sadly in a position where I'm needing to be more frugal. So tonight was a treat. Service was okay. We weren't immediately noticed on entry and there was some pushiness about trying to get us to order something to drink other than water. It was also a bit of a wait for the food to be ready, but I think they maybe had a big group in the back they were focused on rather than the two of us. The restaurant is inside a rail car, and as we entered we were greeted kindly and with a smile by Greeter & waiter, Hunter. Hunter was genial, professional, engaging, and very helpful (Educated us to their menu) as this was our 1st time at their restaurant. Hunter recommended the 1/2 pound Boar Bacon Club Sandwich on sour dough that did not disappoint, was the best "Club" I'd ever eaten, hands down. It consisted of Pecan smoked boar shoulder bacon, house roasted turkey, fresh greens & tomato. Hunter also recommended the New Zealand Caesar House-made salad with fresh romaine, chopped bacon, croutons and parmesan topped with a soft basted egg, my mouths watering just thinking about it. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the 1/2 Fish & Chips with the Hand-cut and breaded arctic cod and fries. Served with house-made coleslaw, & homemade tartar sauce. I love the vast menu options but what was more appealing to me was the fact that you can order either a smaller portion or larger for the dish. Prices are reasonable and a lot of the breakfast joints to me have too much of a large portion. I don't end up finishing my meal but not here! I had the creole eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce with creole seasoning was delicious. Ordered the hash browns extra crispy and it came out perfectly. I ate all my food. Another plus? Go ahead and get a complimentary grilled onions and gravy on the side. I dipped my hash browns with the gravy and ate my eggs Benedict with those grilled onions. Now, my elk-chopped steak was a bit dry for my taste but it was flavorful. My hash browns were crispy and fresh, and the side of sausage gravy?!?! Excellent! My two over-medium eggs were perfectly done I just wish I had ordered a few more. The Southern Caprese Benedict my companion ordered was great! Biscuits were moist but resisted becoming soggy from homestyle sausage gravy, which was one of best I've ever had. The sausage gravy was perfectly seasoned with chunks of delicious pork sausage. Right about 30 minutes, our names were called and we were seated at the counter. We had already perused the menu so we ordered our breakfasts. I had the eggs with sausage, which also comes with a heaping side of hash browns and your choice of bread. I chose wheat toast. First off this place is by the cutest train car diner I've ever experienced. I really felt like I should've been dressed back in late 1900's attire. They kept the dining car up its original appearance which was darling. When we checked in for breakfast we were told it would be a 25-35 minute wait but it was actually about 15. Our service was quick and they were always prompt in asking if we needed anything. The food was great and prepared just the way we asked. My omelette was beautiful golden and folded so delicately I didn't want to cut into it. But hungry got the best of me. It was light and fluffy and just melted in my mouth. It was a 10 out of 10.
