The venue is beautiful, my favorite component was the fireplace that had a fire going. The drink was very good, I also had a Paloma which was a generous size and brisket tacos which were pretty tasty! The bartender was very attentive and polite. Would recommend this place for an intimate date night.

This place is awesome!!! I'm actually super late on doing this review because I recently just got Yelp! I stayed here about two years ago and it was awesome. I'm from Houston & my fam & I took a quick one night road-trip. I was very impressed. The rooms were nice and the beds were so cozy! Even the restaurant was yummy! 100% recommend!!!!

Such an awesome hole in the wall bar with delicious cocktails and a cozy fireplace! I ordered a mezcal old fashioned and it was excellent! It's a very tiny bar, and doesn't have a whole lot of seating, and therefore it's not really good for a big group. This is the perfect place to pre-drink or to get a night cap. Come check this place out!

Adult oriented review…read more... Having been an open and active swinger every minute of my adult life, I check out as many swingers "lifestyle" clubs as I possibly can. I love seeing how different clubs in different cities set themselves up. Plus, any excuse to meet new people and play with them is a good reason. My wife had some business things to handle via zoom in the hotel room so I went over to this club myself. I had just visited the one in New Orleans a few days earlier and was excited to check this one out. Of course, there is always the waivers, fees and check in stuff when new at any club. As a single female for the night, they definitely streamlined the process. Single, attractive women that swing are treated like royalty at swing clubs. This club was no different. Once was inside, having forgotten to bring anything to drink, as this club was byob, I found myself alcohol deficient. I had to barter for drinks and had fun making trades. If you get my meaning. I found this club fun, clean and had plenty of attractive, fun and play minded men and women. The staff were all pleasant and I saw nobody pushing nor violating the rules. There was a good mix of ages from mid twenties to people in their sixties. Nobody pressured me nor made me feel uncomfortable in any way. I found four like minded women and really enjoyed their company. I only stayed for about three hours but I really enjoyed it. If I lived in the Dallas area, I'd certainly be a member and spend my Saturday nights there. If swinging is your thing or you just like to watch and enjoy the vibe, this club is for you.

This place has like 20,000 some likes on facebook and almost 2,000 check-ins so we decided to check it out on that basis. The men here are all Mexican Cowboys. Complete with 10 gallon cowboy hat, cowboy buckles, cowboy boots, cowboy style button down shirt. I think they had horse parking around the side of the building. Not my style, but we're already here, so f*ck it, let's go. Dominic is right about his Dusk till Dawn comment. Lots of the ladies here wear very little ill fitting clothing. It looked a little like the C-squad on a Wednesday afternoon at the strip club. And there is lots of mysterious, smelly 90's style stage smoke wafting around the place for some reason. Like someone forgot to turn off the smoke machine when that trend ended 15 years ago. Even though my friend and I had the most clothes on of all the women in the whole place, we still got plenty of attention. We went on Valentine's weekend though, so pretty much everyone was already coupled. We only paid for our first round of drinks, and it was about $10 for two mixed drinks. The night turned out ok because we got to chill in the DJ booth, and he played reggaeton at my request and I got to dance and flirt with the one hot guy in the whole place. Overall, the people and staff were generous and accommodating. I won't be making this a regular spot, but If you're just looking for something different and are open and adventurous, pop in to check it out. Probably bring at least one friend with you that speaks even bad spanish, and go in a group. P.S. The little taco shop next door is AH-Mazing and cheap, and open late. Noms.

Be careful with the fruity flavored one because it taste so good that you don't realize you're getting drunk. I love the lychee flavor. Although I think the food is meant to be drinking food, you can get a pretty good meal if here. The takoyaki and the takoyaki pizza is tasty. The grilled beef intestine goes really well with a cup of soju. Even the grilled filefish was surprisingly flavorful. Overall a fun time.

We ordered the chicken pong dak which had fried chicken, tater tots, and potato wedges, and comes with a cheese dipping sauce. The cheese sauce had the weirdest consistency that was thich and grainy, not at all appetizing. The dish could do without a double dose of potatoes in my opinion. The fried foods lacked flavor. The bulgogi quesadilla barely had any meat in it. Service was not bad. The karaoke rooms are spacious and good for groups. The system they use can get a little frustrating to use initially but you eventually get the hang of it. The attendant who assisted us there seemed annoyed with our questions and help we needed - it was our first time ever to go for karakoeing.

It's an unassuming location but once you step through the doors you're met with ambient lighting, wooden table tops and benches. We arrived around 11 and were greeted immediately; sat within 5 mins. Once sat, you scan the menu to order. There's plenty Korean and Asian fusion dishes to choose from. We ordered a number of things and everything was fresh and plentiful. When I walked in, the place was empty. I stood at the "Please wait to be seated" sign for way longer than necessary--especially since there were no other customers. I finally peeked in and saw two employees busy counting receipts and money at the register. (Bad Impression #1). After being seated, I was actually enjoying the music until I felt something sticky on my forearm. It was a stray bean sprout left on the table (Bad Impression #2). To make matters worse, the tables are incredibly low. Even at my height, I had to hunch over the entire time. I eventually gave up on table manners and just held the rice bowl up to my face to eat comfortably. Regarding the food: it was a bit salty. The kimchi fried rice was average, but the kimchi stew really missed the mark. That was the moment I realized this is a fusion spot, not authentic Korean. It wasn't horrible, but it's definitely different from the real thing. BUT, can we talk about the massive portions? (Good Impression #1). Everything is clearly meant to be shared. The service was actually good. They have a buzzer on the table for service, which I loved. It saves you from having to track down a waiter. (Good Impression #2). The ambiance is loud, poppy, and "hip." You better like K-pop if you're coming here. It's not a first-date spot because it's hard to hear each other, but it's a solid place to hang out with friends who like the genre. Will I come back? Not actively. But if someone else suggests it, I won't fight them on it.

The menu continues to surprise me; this visit was during Irving's recent Cinco de Mayo event on the TMF Plaza. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars, 5 Stars if the weather is amazing and there is an event on the plaza. Atmosphere - When the weather is nice, Reservoirs doors are open, and there is an event on the plaza, Reservoir shows its superpowers. I came for Irving's Cinco de Mayo event, and we ended up dining at Reservoir because all the doors were open letting the fresh air, music, and energy in. It's like riding in a convertible. 1 Star. Service - You seat yourself. Honestly, this is the only challenge with Reservoir. The combination of phenomenal weather, an event, and a busy restaurant led to long waits. Our server was super nice and got us everything we needed, but we had to be patient to finish up. 1/2 Star. Food - I continue to me surprised with Reservoirs menu. On my most recent visit, I went with the Apple Honey Gorgonzola pizza. This white pizza was outstanding. This tasty pie was presented well too! The pizza was served on red and white checkered paper and a wooden square. The cheese was mild and allowed the sweet apple to shine, but the honey added another layer of flavor. And the pizza crust? Soft, but it held up the cheese and apples. Not sure if they use a wood fired pizza oven, but it sure was tasty. Also, my virgin Strawberry Mojito was sweet, cold, and refreshing, putting an exclamation point on Cinco de Mayo. 1 1/2 Star.1 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Reservoir continues to be in my TMF restaurant rotation. The newly designed plaza at TMF makes it an even better destination, especially when there are events. Next up is the Irving Marathon. 1 Star.
