I have gone to this place for prenatal massage a few times and I didn't mind the place even though the last time I was there I had to wait for good 20-30 mins after my appointment time to be serviced. I have had better massages but at my pregnancy stage I didn't want to change and just keep going here. My last appointment with them - I woke up sick {headache, chills, sore throat, coughing} that morning. I called and made an appointment with my doctor to be seen within an hour. They obviously swabbed me for Covid PCR test as well - and the results were due the next day. I didn't feel comfortable going to my massage with an uncertainty that I might come back positive the next day and mind you all that coughing. I called the spa as soon as I got out of my doctors appointment at 10 - the call was answered by India. I explained my situation and instead of being sympathetic, I was told that the next time I call them the same day for an appointment cancellation I will be charged a fee according to their policy. I would have loved to known 24 hours in advance that I was going to get sick but I am so sorry I don't have a way figured out yet to predict things like that. Needless to say I won't be returning to this place ever again. These people are more focused on their business and making money than other peoples well being. They would rather have infected and sick patients come to their establishment and spread it than cancel their appointments. I expected a better response. read more

I've been here three times and loved the majority of what I experienced. I was in town for work from CA and threw my neck and back out. I am used to it and typically see a chiro when I am home. Luckily I found this place based on yelp reviews. It was so easy to book online and I was able to get a same-day appointment after work. My therapist was really helpful and sweet, but more importantly she was an excellent massage therapist. She fixed me up right away and then suggested I try their infrared sauna and even walked me to one that was still open and available. It was exactly what I needed to fix my muscle problems. The next visit was again great but was just a sauna session. The last massage I got was not as good and I can't remember her name. So ask for experienced therapists if you have the chance. All in all a pretty good haven in downtown Fredericksburg. read more

I have been going to Madison for brow and Brazilian wax for almost a year! She is a perfectionist and my brows are always on "fleek"! She is very detailed, takes her time and I never feel rushed during my appointments which makes it very comfortable. First the positive: The ambiance is relaxing, the products they use feel and smell wonderful, nice choice of paint colors, personalities of the girls were awesome, the polish job she did was great and online scheduling was easy and user friendly. Negatives: It cost 80$ and that was for the farmhouse pedi and to take off my gel polish I already had on. I wouldn't have minded the cost so much if I felt relaxed and had happy feet after. What do I mean by that? Well, there was A LOT of conversation between the girls and bc it's a smaller area voices carried so kinda hard to get in the relaxed mode, and when she went through the different masks, scrubs, and oils the massage portion( even though the upgrade talks about having longer massage) there was little to none and that to me is the most important part bc I'm a medical care worker on my feet all day. In conclusion was it worth the money, no I really don't think so BUT they have other services that I may try read more

I went in on a Friday for a gel manicure and by Saturday morning two of my nails had peeled. I called to schedule a touch up, and was able to get in the following week on Wednesday (due to my schedule conflicts; not theirs). I had come to get 2 nails fixed, but once I sat down the new nail tech decided to check all of my nails and we realized that all but 2 fingers were actually peeling off at the corners. I was impressed with her customer service level of deciding to redo my entire manicure (just the basic polish part- and I should mention she wasn't my initial nail tech so she didn't get the original tip or compensation) to ensure that I wasn't going to leave and have to call again the next day. It's been a few days and it already seems like a better quality manicure. I will definitely give this salon another try. Overall, I do feel like there is a high level of care from the nail techs- especially Paige- and the salon is adorable. read more

I wasn't going to review Collage Spa, because it was a very mixed bag for me. But I feel like I'd be doing a disservice if I don't do a review. So I'll start at the top. Initial call for the appointment was very friendly, patient and quick; pretty straight forward stuff. Text reminders and a call the day before the appointment again, pretty standard. This I give 10/10 The building very nice, very clean and modern. It's an old building so there is a lot of floor creaking, and things of that nature that you'd come to expect for the older historical buildings of downtown. However when we got there it was clear why they chose the name of the business. There's a lot going on here (you probably already know that, assuming you've looked into them already). There are mani/pedi's, facials, saunas, massages etc etc. Cool, an all in one place to be pampered if you so desire. My issue is that we went for a couples massage and every place I have gone for a massage (even the chains in Central Park) it's a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Nice relaxing music, aroma, and everyone is pretty quiet. I understand that since this is an "all in one" I wasn't expecting it to be that way. However, what I thought it would be, it was not. It seems the massages are spread out in the building. A gentleman came in, his therapist took him downstairs (think creaky floors for that young man) we were taken upstairs, much better. Except mid way through there was some people who had come out of doing whatever it was they were doing, and were talking like they were the only ones in the building. Not the businesses fault, except perhaps the layout of their services. In the room the sign had add-on's and one of them was free AROMATHERAPY! But there was none for us. There was a white noise machine however, so I suppose that's a plus (but where are my crashing ocean waves or the sound of rain?). Overall the building is nice, and maybe they're limited to what they can do where. But I do feel like if at all possible all the massages should be done upstairs, to try and create the most relaxing space you possibly can. Again, I didn't take a full tour of the building, just basing this off our experience and the gentleman who was taken downstairs leads me to believe it's kinda spread out. 8/10 The therapist was very nice and communicated well. My wife and I both left with the same sentiment. They were good but not great. I usually leave a massage feeling like I'm walking on a cloud, this time I didn't. I usually feel really relaxed to the point where, when I get home I don't intend on doing much but drinking my water and watching a show or movie. This is not a negative review to the therapist specifically as I think the entire experience was just compounded. The only real qualm I have with my therapist specifically were her nails. I felt it when it was happening and saw it when I got home, there were scratches on my neck and shoulders. Nothing deep or bleeding, but enough to leave some marks. She did work the areas I asked her to work, and worked the knots as she found them. Those nails though.. 8/10. Collage Spa is not bad, but it's not great either (limited to our experience)- I wanted to love this place but we will go back to massage therapy of Fredericksburg next time. read more

I've had many massages, but this one was by far one of the most amazing experiences. I have a lot of issues with back and neck tension that trickles down to my hips, so when I get massages, it's not for a relaxing time. Gabriel was my masseuse and was able to really work out my knots all while providing such a relaxing service. I've never had that before! Today was my first time visiting STTS. I booked a classic mani and pedi with Rhea. I also booked a foot therapy appointment with Gabe. Rhea was super sweet, very personable and professional. She has very strong hands and that made the massage even more amazing. My nails have never looked so good. Gabe was very easy to talk to and professional. This was my first ever foot therapy reflexology encounter. I explained to him the issues I have been having and he did his thing. My feet felt amazing and I cannot wait to book another appointment. Massages and facials are amazing. Pedicures...not so much. SK does my facial and she has hands of an angel. She completely relaxes me and does a wonderful job of extractions and dermaplaning. Highly recommend her. Pedicures - I've tried their pedicures about 4-5 times and mediocre is the best I can say about them. They don't do enough removing or massaging the feet and legs and they do way too much talking, it is not relaxing. The last and final one that I received there was supposed to be a 60 minute and she was done in 45 minutes. You have to time them in order to get what you pay for. read more

This is my favorite spa/salon in Fred. I've had massages, facials, pedicures and manicures done here throughout the years and every time and every service has had the same great customer service. Today I had a prenatal massage with Kathleen and it was wonderful. Precautions included wearing masks throughout the procedure and Kathleen wearing gloves but it didn't prevent me from feeling loose and relaxed during the massage.
