We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. They serve until 11:30am. We were greeted with Aloha and could sit anywhere we chose. The service was good throughout the time we were there. We shared the Hangover and added eggs scrambled with the mild green chiles on the side. It was a pretty generous portion! We also ordered 1 pancake and 2 mochas. We were more than full! There is indoor seating available and a couple high tables for another option. Nice sit down restaurant with big mirrors and a flower wallpaper. If you are upcountry in Haiku it's a nice choice for Breakfast. Have not tried lunch or dinner yet but will definitely come back and try.

Came for breakfast. Had to try their eggs Benedict. I'm am eggs Benedict fan, and I try to order it whenever I can. This is probably the best eggs Benedict in Maui. I had the Mahi Beni. Wow. The fish was fresh, the sauce was fresh made. So creamy and yummy. Eggs were perfectly poached. They also have a lovely selection of pastries made fresh everyday! Highly recommend. And they're open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Super friendly staff. Great service. Great food. They are located in an old cannery bldg, with lots of interesting shops around too.

My friend and I decide to make a quick trip to haiku because I was in town and she wanted to hang out. And so, we met at the Queen K center in Wailuku we took a drive into haiku. It was something to do and we were not in a rush, except for me being at the airport by 2:30 PM for 4 o'clock flight up to Honolulu. Along the way we stopped off at Colleen's At the Cannery in Haiku. I've never been here before, but it looks like to be a pretty cool watering hole for the community here. Seems like most of the towns people were here on a Sunday morning. At least those who choose not to go to church anyway. We arrived here around 10:45 AM on a Sunday morning. It was a chill vibe and atmosphere was nice. Everything was mellow and there was two TV on playing sports and sports shows at the time. We were seated almost immediately because it was almost empty. we were here about an hour or so chilling and having lunch. It was nice at this place had a bar because I chose to drink a couple before heading to the airport. They had pretty good choices of beer and wine. I decided to have a burger and fries, along with my choice of beer. My friend had a large salad. The place feels like a old warehouse. But it has a rustic charm and definitely place to have a nice lunch or dinner. The place is clean and definitely has a certain charm to it. They also have restaurant facilities as well, so you can sit here and drink and drink and drink, and have a restroom nearby. Always a good thing to have at your disposal if necessary. And so, if you are in Maui and want something unique supporting Molly's local business, consider coming our way to haiku and having lunch or dinner here at Colleen's At the Cannery. It's quite peaceful. The overall experience here at Colleen's at the cannery - Haiku was fairly great and definitely. I feel at home here. We spent about an hour or so drinking and reflecting on how life has been since Covid had ravaged the world. Life would have never been the same since then. The burger was very good and the french fries were awesome. It was a shame that I had to go back to the airport later in the day, but it was nice to chill here for a nice lunch with friend. The drinks were refreshing for us and definitely would love another one if my Travel funds could accept it that I would fly again to Maui. The food was good and awesome, the service could be slower than usual because it was the weekend. And Sundays can be slower than normal anyway. Just expect that when you come here on a weekend. For the most part though, it was definitely a chill experience and would like to go back when the time is right. For most part though, this is a bar with a restaurant attached, like anywhere else. If you like low-key atmosphere outside of the tourist areas and Wailuku, consider coming here to Haiku and enjoy what Colleen's At the Cannery can do for you. Small town, small town vibes, and fresh air can do you some good it did me some good because I want to go back the next chance I guess. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. It is pretty close to the Kahului airport too. Colleen's At the Cannery is located at 810 Haiku Road in the heart of Haiku, Maui. It has a few businesses in this rural area east of the Kahului airport (OGG). They accept major credit cards as well as cash. Best thing to do is to have your own rental car or a private vehicle. Or if you know anyone on Maui, they can drive you here too. On my experience here, I actually had someone who was willing to drive here for lunch with me. If you're not that familiar or not lucky, you can come here yourself. If you are traveling on Maui Bus, there is a haiku bus that travels in and out of Haiku town. Best bet would be to use that route that connects Haiku with Queen Kaahumanu Center. And of course, there is always uber and lyft to take you where you want to go. For the many of us who love Maui, consider coming here when you want to go somewhere that's off the beaten path. Check out Colleen's At the Cannery and see what favorites you would discover here. It was a surprise for me since my friend took me here, but now I'm a fan and hope to be back someday soon. If you're in the area, consider coming here for a drink or two while having lunch or dinner. Drink responsibly! 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 3.5 stars for the prices. 4.5 stars for the ambiance, food, and service. Support local! B

While the food was good as usual our server seemed indifferent to our needs We initially experienced a delay with our drink order, which our server attributed to a lost ticket. However, another server delivered my partner's drink, indicating the ticket wasn't lost. The food arrived promptly, and we enjoyed our meal. However, when I asked a server for the check to expedite my departure for an appointment across the street, she seemed reluctant to process the payment. I gave her my credit card and asked her to run the check. She came to our table to ask my partner if she wanted anything else, despite my earlier indication I was ready to leave, and that my partner would stay for a couple of more minutes to finish her meal. I felt our server's behavior prioritized her needs over ours, which was disappointing. I've had many better experiences at this restaurant in the past and appreciate the its open, airy atmosphere. I understand that prices have increased over the years, but I hope my next visit to the restaurant will be a better experience overall Sincerely, [Your Name]"

Came here for lunch with a friend. It is located in the Haiku Cannery and there is plenty of parking. It's a casual, airy restaurant with lots of natural light. The service is fast and friendly. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Not only was this the best burger I've had on Maui, it's one of the best burgers I've ever had! First it is big, I could only finish half of it. The beef patty is cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. Lots of toppings sends this burger over the top!

Had cocktails and dinner because it was an hour wait at Nuka's. I had the Lemon drop and my friends had the Saturn return, and a dirty martini. Yum, we had Shelby and she was amazing. Definitely recommending dinner for anyone near the area. Ribeye steak, Rack of Lamb, Blue cheese burger, all was delicious as well as the mushrooms in miso butter and seared ahi sashimi.

My party and I went zip lining nearby and were referred to Colleen's. We all came here to lunch and in SOOO glad we did. We had a rather large party, which filled half the restaurant, but they accommodated us very easily. The waitress was so friendly, and constantly kept our drinks full. As far as food, I ended up ordering the venison burger (which is not on the menu , and is made from the local deer on the island). It was extremely good. The meat had a rich flavor that I haven't experienced before. I also ordered sweet potato fries, and no joke they were the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. The "crunch to fluff" ratio was perfect (the regular fries were equally as good). This restaurant is a little out of the way of where most tourists are going to be, but it's soooo worth coming out to Haiku, even if it's just to eat here. This meal was a major highlight of the whole vacation

The eggs Benedict sauce was great! I had the mahi mahi with it but I'll try the regular Canadian bacon next time. Service was perfect, friendly and efficient. Ambiance was simple and inviting.

This place was recommended to us by the grocery store in the same complex when we were looking for hot food. It was around 4pm and it was pretty busy in there. What we swallowed: *FISH AND CHIPS: This dish was delicious. The batter on the fish was tarty and crispy, the fish inside was piping hot and moist. The chips were cooked to perfection. This was an awesome dish and the portion was so HUGE it could easily be split by two adults. *BUTTER PASTA: Both my kids said this was one of the better butter pastas they have had and truly enjoyed it. *BACON BLUE BURGER: Hubby likes his burgers well done and they cooked this one perfectly: well done but still juicy! This was really tasty and the portions were huge! We really liked this place. There was no air con but a warm cross breeze and that was the only downfall (we were sweating bullets). The server was really nice and we even grabbed two big cookies to share later on our way out (which were both yummy btw).

    A perfectly cooked, medium-rare cheeseburger and fries....Yum!

We live in Wailuku so it's out-of-the-way to go to Colleen's but every time we go there, the food is great. My husband is a cheeseburger fan and Colleen is his top choice on Maui + her french fries are the absolute best!

Came here after zip lining on a Monday afternoon. One of the instructors recommended this place. It was a bit odd as there were no signs to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. After asking the cashier at the front she said to seat ourselves. We waited not a single person acknowledged us or anything. After about 5 minutes I finally had to go up and ask the cashier for menus. Thats when we finally got some attention. Not off to a great start..... We ordered the portobello mushroom veggie burger, Bacon Cheddar burger, bacon avocado turkey wrap and Reuben Sandwich. Fries are an additional charge of $2.75 so we just got one order to share. The fires were pretty salty. Luckily we only got one order. The burgers and wrap were pretty dry. Like. The burger patty was not juicy and lacked flavor. The portobello burger was also under seasoned. We didn't say anything cause we were just hungry and just wanted to finish and leave. Not very impressed with this place. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

    House Salad with Ahi

I was excited to try this restaurant as the first food stop in Maui! I read an article hyping it up, so we added it to the itinerary. Inside has a small diner-like arrangement where you have free seating, and a server will soon come to grab your order. We got the fish and chips, house salad with ahi, and mahi mahi burger. Fish and Chips (4/5) The fish was extremely crispy without being too greasy. We really liked the breading, and the fish itself was very fluffy. The fries were also really crispy, but I think it was a little too oily for my liking. We also wished the fish was more seasoned, but when doused in the tartar sauce, it was delicious. House Salad with Ahi (3.5/5) The ahi was amazing. We got it cooked rare, and it was seasoned and seared nicely. However, the salad itself was dressed too heavily with the vinaigrette, so it masked the freshness of the salad. Mahi Mahi Burger (3/5) This was the most light dish we got. The burger had onion, tomato, lettuce, and tartar sauce. I liked the fish, but do think it could be seasoned more. The burger was a good bite to contrast the heaviness of the other dishes though. The serving size was massive! Lots of food served on each plate. And service was also amazing. We were frequently checked in, and all of our requests were answered quickly. We had a good time here overall!

The service was normal, there was no pave to eat inside you so order at a fake out window. It was hot and no place to sit down and eat. The sauce was a little saucy and I would have gotten rice instead of garlic noodles which were underwhelming. Overall 4/5 for chicken mochoko. The dry mein and Saimen were mid. Not great. Not terrible but I would order something else. It was also expensive for those two dishes and so I would appropriately price those and the food was generic with those two ordered. Would I return, if I was hungry and in the area the Mochoco Chicken was good. But I didn't have any time to try anybting else. The Saimen and Dry Mein were Gm very very generic. So that's why I gave it a 5 stars. I know to go orders is popular in Maui and it's more expensive to open a store so I would recommend investing in one where people can really enjoy your food.
