I pass this place quite often and decided to give it a go after work and was pleasantly impressed. I would say this place is really solid. Simple and clean interior. The food came out and quick and really good. I really liked the chicken that came in the mixed plate and the burger meat was nice and tender. The Mac salad and gravy were alright. I really like the strawberry smoothie and the fried rice was also good with a good amount of protein including chicken and char siu. I say it's worth to stop by. I will since I wanna try other things on the menu.

Just thought I'd try this place out. Say the cheap breakfast sign so why not. It was right when they opened, my dude was by himself but he did a good job taking our orders. Can't be mad at the hustle. He did however get one order wrong. Scrambled eggs not over easy. The portions are small and it is what you'd expect for $5. Just don't get a drink, it cost the same as the breakfast.

After 11AM and the line was almost out the door. Line moved quickly. The lady at the register was friendly and was not overwhelmed by all the orders and long line. Front display was a little empty but they were still preparing the food like Fried rice and chow mein. Outside on display were the mushroom chicken, kau yuk and orange chicken. The prices here are affordable. We got the regular Meat Jun, small container of orange chicken and two entree order of kau yuk and mushroom chicken with fried rice. Total came out to under $40! We waited under 15 minutes for our food. The meat Jun was soft and so delicious. It was as if it melts in your mouth and you didn't really need the sauce for it. It tasted just as good without. What surprised me the most was they cut the meat Jun for you because other restaurants don't do that. The orange chicken didn't taste like orange but it was sweet and crunchy which I enjoyed. The mushroom chicken was so tender. Kau yuk and fried rice were enjoyable too. Inside of the restaurant was a bit warm but it looked like they were still working on the air conditioner. There are only three tables with four seats each for dine in which is a little tight. Take out is a better option. They also do catering. The chefs did an excellent job. Overall, I will continue coming here for my plate lunches. They are the most affordable place for a plate lunch, their portions are generous and the food is delicious. I still want to try more of their menu items.

We decided to try Kings BBQ in Kahului that recently opened. We went around 10:30am and there was just one person before us ordering. The cashier was nice. We really wanted to try their pork chop, but they were out of it so we ordered their Bento option and teriyaki steak plate. The bento came with spam, chicken katsu, teriyaki steak and fried mahi. Sadly, no katsu sauce was provided. The fried mahi was plain and really thinly sliced. Katsu was dry, would have been better if there was sauce. Spam and Teri steak was your usual. Place was clean. You're able to dine-in as well. A little warm inside, but they do have A/C. We might give them another shot if we're in the area and try other dishes. Prices are reasonable and good portions.

A good mix of foods, good flavor. Cashier was very friendly . 3x4 pac tables inside but a little warm in temperature as the ordering line gets long at times. Food wait time was 20-25 minutes.

    Price paid

The food was good, but the menu signage was deceiving. It listed on menu: Saimin @ $6.99 and they charged $6.99 Sweet Sour Pork @ $12.99, charged $18.99 Kung Pao Chicken @ $12.99, charged $17.99 Mongolian Beef @ $12.99, charged $18.99 She said the lower price was for the Plate Lunch order, not the Ala Carte order, which was not even shown on the menu. The prices they charged were not posted on the menu anywhere...

Went in today, 4 hours ahead of our event, to order a tray and the young lady said (after a long discussion with whoever was in the back) that it must be ordered a day ahead. Never going back to Siu's. Called King's BBQ and they accommodated us right away AND they were cheaper!!!!

My wife and I wanted to have some lunch so we came across this small Chinese place . Siu's Chinese restaurant there was no one inside the restaurant. Well I find out why the hot food selection didn't look very good . Prices were reasonable 1 choice $12.50 2 choice $14.95. We both ordered Won Ton Mein because the weather in Maui was raining on and off . It look delicious in my picture but first of all it didn't have no taste I used my mustard shoyu container and dumped it inside my Saimin LOL. The noodles tasted like Somen noodles and the Won Ton didn't taste that good . Service was pretty bad as well there was a young gentleman working the counter and he had no personality at all . While we were dining we saw only 3 customers came inside . I remind you this was prime time around 1pm lunch hour . To their defense that Mall is pretty dead anyway . Try to support local when possible

That's a plus for takeout especially if it's a gravy item. I ordered a Mochicko Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp Combo Plate Lunch today. Basic Mochicko Chicken recipe so can't go wrong and was plenty about 1 1/2-2 cups worth. Six pieces medium size shrimps. Batter for the shrimp was kind of too thick. I like it thinner just my opinion. Because the batter could be more crisper tossed in the sauce won't be so mushy but since it's thick, it fells mushy for me. One scooped Mac salad and two scoops rice and this plate is filled. No, I could not finish. Half is saved for the next day.

Aloha Noodle Café is the revitalized business of the former Sugoi Ramen, housed in the same spot…read more Sugoi abruptly closed via a printed sign on their window that stated "On vacation" which ended up being for weeks.  All of a sudden a new sign posted in the window stated "Aloha Noodle Café coming soon".  I wasn't too excited as their old menu was just okay and the service lacked.  After seeing two reviews posted, a 1-star and 5-star, I had to come in for myself as how would I make a decision with ratings at both ends of the spectrum? ATMOSPHERE: No renovations have been done sans for the menu board.  The air conditioning was either broken or off as it was very warm inside, yet a few brave souls ate in.  Seating is quite plentiful. MENU: Chinese-inspired hot foods line, pho, saimin, dry noodle dishes, local plate lunches, rice dishes, pork, chicken, burgers, catering.  Ramen is no longer offered. FOOD: Crispy Cake Noodles with Seafood - $12.99 I absolutely love cake noodles so I had to try it. Maui's other "Chinese" eateries all make subpar cake noodle dishes so I wasn't expecting much. I've found the best version on the rock, and it was really, really good.  Say what?!  Yes!  The cake noodles were real cake noodles; crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside.  And, the amount of noodles was obscene!  Literally enough for three servings.  It can't be only about the noodles as the gravy is just as important, and they rocked it! Savory, tasty and chock full of shrimp, zucchini, broccoli, won bok, carrots and mushrooms.  The only downfall were the calamari that were rubbery. I normally wouldn't pour all the gravy onto all the noodles but I did it for you, my fellow Yelpers as I wanted that voilà shot.  You're welcome, lol.  Next time, it'll be rationed in order to keep the noodles' crunchy texture. SERVICE: Counter service was friendly and food delivery was super quick, about 5 minutes. OVERALL: The cake noodles knocked me off of my feet.  I'm totally jubilant that they've made a comeback after their first failed attempt.  Keep it up and that rating might go up one more star!
