Before deciding on Amie and College Park flowers, I had met with 3 other comparable vendors with excellent reviews. I had done enough research and was specific about the vision I had for my wedding: ivory and pops of soft pink with cascading phalo orchids, roses, and hydrangeas. The two things I wasn't willing to negotiate on was a floral arch for the ceremony (Amie made it a hoop, so more flowers, rounder, and even more photogenic) and a flower wall backdrop for the reception all while sticking to my budget. It was a challenge because all the other floral vendors quoted me over my budget and only tried to work it down once they didn't get a response from me. I had about 6 months left before the wedding when I was looking for a florist so I was serious about entering a contract. Amie was the only one that told me that my floral budget is quite nice and roomy enough that she can definitely make what I envision become a reality with only minor adjustments. Amie is an utmost professional at the top of her game! She's had a lot of experience being a florist. She's extremely easy to work with. Not only is she personable, she understood the look and feel of what I wanted for my wedding right away. After our first meeting together, my husband and I were absolutely certain she would be the one we would be using for our flowers. Amie is very genuine, she didn't try to up sell or act like our wedding date is too popular and if we wait, she'll be booked, this was something that I felt was rare after meeting with a lot of wedding vendors. On our wedding day in January 2020, Amie was the first vendor to show up and get started on everything. The amount of detail and hard work she put in blew us away. My husband and I couldn't have asked for more, Amie's work truly exceeded our expectations. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting our beautiful flowers and taking pictures with the flower wall and hoop. I was very happy with their prompt delivery and seemingly personalized wedding bouquet arrangements for my request. The flowers were absolutely lovely. My only complaint is that I wanted touches of blue for my bouquet for my wedding, which were not present in any of my bridesmaids or my bouquet, making my bouquet extremely monochromatic and did not match my theme. I had agreed upon the flowers and floral types with them ahead of time, and a mistake like this four hours before getting married was basically too late to do anything about. I am still disappointed on this fact, especially since this is considered to be more upscale than other floral companies. Overall, great bouquets but not what I wanted. read more

First of all I want to say that Amie has done a FANTASTIC job with my flower arrangements! I've used her twice before, especially for Valentine's Day, and have not been dissapointed at all, but instead VERY impressed with her work. The colors, the choice of flowers(which she recommended to me), and the entire presentation was flawless, and that's an understatement. Amie is nothing less than an artist with her work. Amie did such an amazing job with our wedding flowers - I was absolutely THRILLED when I walked into the venue to see the arrangements for the very first time. (Asked for pink petals) No doubt that they create pretty arrangements, just not sure they can deliver what you are envisioning. Unfortunately, I only got to meet Amie for about 30 seconds on the day of my wedding. Amie was a night in shining armor for me, as my one florist had completely ghosted on me prior to finding her. She was able to put together exactly what I wanted, including helping us secure items that we needed for our Hindu ceremony as well as building the Mandap/Altar that we used in both ceremonies. The flowers were gorgeous and exactly what I imagined. She was SO helpful with the last minute planning, as well as with the fact that I was long-distance planning and was even able to provide the vases and other items that served as center pieces. read more

Let me just start with the fact that having a business means you will be busy most of the time. I completely understand that, however that does NOT give you the right to be UNPROFESSIONAL. I originally met Amie during my venue's open house. She seemed nice and I loved her reviews so I emailed her about setting up an appointment. She emailed me back days after the original email, she was busy, I understood. She set up an appointment for us to meet and even wrote out the date "September....". Well the day came and I showed up on time and College Park Flowers was closed. There was nobody around and when I called there was NO answer so I left a voicemail. I felt pretty disappointed and upset especially because nobody reached out to me that afternoon. I was NOT late and I had the correct address so I was sure it was NOT my fault... Anyways, I emailed Amie the next morning and she claimed she never received a voicemail. She also claimed that "I had you down for next Thursday, but just realized by looking back in our email it was yesterday." The email kept on with her wanting to meet up with me that day but I had no availability and honestly I did not feel like wasting my time on my busy Friday. However, I decided to give her another chance and I emailed her soon after she had replied. Sad to day that until today I am still waiting for a reply. I have been planning my wedding for three months now and I have learned to trust my gut. Amie was unprofessional, plain and simple, and honestly I am glad I "dodged a bullet". I don't understand how she could have mixed October with September especially when she wrote out the date and everything. Imagine if she had done that with my wedding? Called at 9am, the arrangement was delivered before noon, and we were not disappointed. Aimee delivered an amazing bouquet. My wife was thrilled. Mission accomplished. When I booked w/ Amy she was very pleasant on the phone and helped me come up with a good birthday message for the flowers that were being delivered to my girlfriend. I asked for delivery between 7:30-8:00am in downtown. I even said that if it's not there until 8:15am that would be fine. I asked to include a balloon and she explained that they don't carry balloons but they would pick one up at Kroger and charge me accordingly. That's great service! Fast forward to the next morning. Unfortunately, it was 8:30am and the flowers had not yet arrived. I called Amy and left a message and she quickly called me back. She explained that her driver was running behind w/ deliveries and she was delivering it herself. They were delivered around 9am and she said that she was doing the best that she could do. I would've preferred a simple apology after the explanation of why the flowers were being delivered 60-90 minutes late. My girlfriend sent a picture of the flowers that cost me $100 and I was a bit shocked. I could've ordered more for less with one of the major online flower delivery places. And there was no balloon. Fortunately my girlfriend appreciated the thought. My experience started off as great and quickly fizzled w/ the deliverable being late and incorrect. I have never left a negative review for another florist - ever. But this experience compelled me to comment. I am a 21 year florist with my own busy business and I needed a special florist in Houston to take care of 2 special orders to the same recipient on a Friday. The website was lovely and had the style of flowers I was looking for. I sent the order details via email on Tuesday to ask if they could take care of it - no response. So I called on the Wednesday morning to confirm - they said they could take care of it and Aimee would get back to me after a meeting - no response. I called again on Thursday morning and they told me they couldn't do it. I was stunned - how very unprofessional and very unfair to me and my client. A simple response to my email, or when I called the first time with a "no we are unable to help" would have been understandable. I get it - we are all busy and can't always fulfill every request. Don't let the beautiful pictures on the website fool you - the service and attitude were severely lacking in professionalism and courtesy. read more
