Called them last year to perform yearly maintenance on an old oil tank and furnace in a crawlspace and they did great work and gave great advice! This is a business you can trust! This year when our furnace stopped working mid December: Called up Genove right away and they had someone out the same day to try and help us! We knew the furnace was on the last of its nine lives so Richie came and took a look and let us know our options! He's super knowledgeable and let us know about the Mass Rebate program to save us money! We chose to go with a new electric heat pump over just replacing the furnace because our air conditioning unit was older too and we wanted to get it all under control! This was a pretty big job that required them working in a crawlspace that you can't stand up all the way in which we are very grateful for their hard work! The previous owners of my house started using Patriot after they were the only company to respond to a late night service call - and we've stuck with them. The design of the boiler is excellent. There have been no leaks. The boiler is easy to clean -- I do it myself with a boiler brush and a shop-vac, but also easy for a maintainer. The System 2000 is compatible with solar hot water and space heating. Patriot will not support their installation unless you purchase oil from them. Because I prefer getting support from a separate business entity than the one which sells me fuel, I've gotten support from other contractors recommended by Energy Kinetics.
