After looking for a good breakfast spot on our way out after visiting, we decided to stop here. The restaurant wasn't very busy and we were quickly seated in a booth. We ended up ordering the Greek yogurt parfait and the meat omelette for our meals. My parfait was delicious. It had tons of berries and granola which I loved. The lady that busses the table is the hardest working person I have ever seen, and so polite. The second day there was a 20 minute wait but I guess if there want a wait, it shows it isn't very good. I was craving waffle for breakfast and hubby found this joint not far from our resort. I like the decor and the place is bright and clean. Good job on distancing/sanitizing/masking protocol. We feel really comfortable while eating indoor. I had the Banana Works Waffle (banana, pecans, chocolate chips and vanilla ice cream) , it was very satisfying. We quit a round of golf at The Golden Horseshoe early due to rain and decided to stop for breakfast. This was the closest place and they were still serving. Thank God. My friends and I went here on our last day visiting Williamsburg, and had a delicious brunch! The pumpkin spice Belgian waffle was delicious- not too sweet, with plenty of flavor. I also split an order of biscuits with sausage gravy, and I'm not normally a fan of sausage gravy but this was PERFECT. The sausage was good quality, the biscuits were definitely homemade, and the gravy was just right (though I did add hot sauce, because that's how I roll). The service was excellent, with our waitress being attentive and personable, and bringing us refills when we needed them. The restaurant (and bathroom) were clean, well-lit, and felt like a place we could happily hang out in for hours. This is a mom and pop shop right outside Colonial Williamsburg. It's easy to miss but has ample parking. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient....it really is a friendly neighborhood diner. The food had healthy proportions and was good basic fare. The yogart parfait with berries was large and sweet with plenty of berries. The omelette was massive and held a substantial amount of breakfast meats. Suprisingly, this southern diner offers Scrapple which is hardly ever found south of DC. The try winner is their version of homefries. Thinly sliced and filled with sliced onion, they are fried almost to the point of chips. Amazing and delicious, it's a nice twist on a generic dish. The pancakes were fluffy and not heavy. Delicious and filling, their breakfast doesn't disappoint. The funniest thing...the baby changing table is located over the toilet in the ladies room. I was here this morning and it was very busy with a lot going on. The staff had a lot thrown at them at once and I was SO impressed with how well they were handling everything. It was so efficient and professional and despite how much they had on their plates, everyone was being very polite and personable towards the customers. Run of the mill breakfast place. Came in from the road, hungry. Service was not too great and our food, turkey club and a tuna melt, was just ho-hum. We're tourists here but based on the colonial costuming of some of the patrons you know locals eat here. Maybe we just caught it at a lousy time of day. Anyway, three stars at best. read more

We decided to eat here for breakfast one day while we were in Williamsburg. This is a good ol' country breakfast place. You can tell local folks eat here, so you know it's gonna be awesome. I ordered French toast w/ bananas, blueberries, strawberries. Bacon. My husband ordered pancakes, eggs, bacon, taters. All was tasty! The prices are high!!!
