Rare 10 oz filet with twice baked potato.

By far the nicest restaurant in the Irving area. My family has been coming to the Colony since my Dad moved to Silver Creek about five or six years ago and we've honestly never been disappointed. I last dined at the Colony last night (Saturday, August 1) and would recommend making a reservation due to the social distancing/COVID precautions that are in place (limited seating). The only reservation available for us was 7:15pm so we were extra hungry upon arrival! Our waitress (whose name I sadly forgot) was fantastic. From her Gilmore Girls mask to ensuring each and every course was to our liking - she was very attentive. We started with a bottle of wine (decent wine list, cocktails, beers, etc.) and ordered a few appetizers including the clams casino and the crab and lobster cakes. My Dad ordered a crock of the French onion soup. Then came our salads... and of course bread for the table... Then our entrees... I ordered the 10 oz. Filet Mignon (cooked rare) and it actually came out decently rare - woo! Of course, I was getting pretty full and was unable to finish the entire entree and completely neglected to leave room for dessert, boo. Anyway, there is plenty of free parking, a large dining area, a bar area, and a menu with a lot of variety although the focus is definitely on the steak and seafood. Even with COVID-19 among us, our waitress was so friendly. My only "complaint" is the price/cost but for the most part, you get what you pay for.

I have never had a bad meal at the colony yet. That would be spanning three decades unfortunately it's a 45 minute drive or I'd be there even more often, but it was a great place to celebrate when winning at bingo and celebrate not winning at bingo. Service has always been impeccable and the ambience, relaxing and enjoyable, kudos to chef staff and owners .Lamb Chops Lobster Bisque Shower grills oysters

We occasionally have driven up to this restaurant. It's a long route five & from the outside looks like a pretty common place bar and restaurant. Nothing elegant or fancy. Very noisy. The food is hit or miss. Somethings can be reasonably well done and others dreadful. The one consistent thing is if their prices are sky high. Their prime rib yesterday was $43. Absolutely no justification. Their blackened catfish was $29 which should be about 12 to 15. The list goes on. They aggressively will not except American Express credit cards although virtually every other dining facility in western New York does. Most certainly it's because I AMEX charges a slightly greater percentage to process the charges. It's ironic that one of the restaurant with the most inflated prices "nickels and dimes" customers for a few percentage points. They actually can't except AMEX but aggressively discourage it charging the servers a staggering 10% off the bill for every card they process. This penalize is the server and it impacts the customers. We got a mouthy lecture from the server yesterday and we were rudely admonished to never use it again in this restaurant. I think that was the last straw for us. We go out to eat 2 to 4 times a week but I can guarantee you we will not be back to the Colony restaurant in Irving. Their parking lot is almost never full. I can understand it. I would rather spend my money in places that have reasonable prices, high-quality food and happy smiling waitstaff not grumble bumpkins.

Wonderful service. Food was wonderful. You get enough for the $. I had the surf & turf mini, hubby blacken swordfish. Then he had creme brule . Absolutely no complaints. Cheryl was our server and she was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Decor is a bit outdated. Food and service are always excellent. Not quite upscale but much better than mom and pop. Great for a date night!

We had dinner here last night - a Friday - this was our 2nd visit to this restaurant. We did have a…read morereservation which I would recommend, they are pretty busy. Beautiful, beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere, soft music, amazing service by Juan our waiter. We started with Caesar salad and the bruschetta appetizers - Boyfriend's salad was very good. I liked the capers and strong hint of anchovies in the dressing (which he always has on the side). Bruschetta was not what I expected - I felt it was missing something, not much flavor - although the bread was super fresh and tomatoes perfectly ripe. As mains he had the Americana pizza (pepperoni) and I had the lamb, served with a citrusy risotto and rapini. I loved the lamb! Highly recommend. It was literally so tender that I didn't need the knife to cut it! We asked Juan how the cook made it that way - he wouldn't tell and said it was the kitchen's secret! It was delicious. Risotto was perfect too. I'm not a fan of rapini but it was well cooked and seasoned. Boyfriend regretted his choice a little, although he says his pizza was good - but after tasting my lamb, he was sorry he didn't choose a meat dish. I had a shot of Amaretto on ice and the cannolis for dessert. Delicious and obviously homemade. I was a bit put off that a bus boy pulled out our appetizer plates while we were still actively eating. Hint, if our forks are in our hand and we're bringing them to our mouth with food on it, we're not done yet :/ Not the first place this happens and a pet peeve of mine... but whatever. Also, the couple with 5 kids... 5 kids omg... maybe this wasn't the best restaurant choice for you if you are going to let the two small ones run wild around the dining room and almost hit a waiter with a tray of drinks... but this isn't the restaurant's fault. We will return! Worth it just for the amazing lamb, and a short 5 minute walk from the Doubletree hotel, if you are staying there!

The owner is present almost all the time tending to things and checking in on tables. I have never ever had a bad meal here. Like not ever. Not even a mediocre meal. Always rates very good to great. From the steaks. To the seafood, to the Italian specialties.....just tops. It is hard to get into during the ski season, and not too easy even off season, so please do plan and make a reservation. If you can snag a booth, that is the best. The bar is a great place to come for a drink with a friend or to watch a sporting event. My most recent visit to the restaurant was this past Friday, a nice night in early May. We met some friends here for dinner. We had two appetizers of stuffed peppers which are absolutely amazing with just the right amount of heat, and the Nona's Meatball with gooey rich ricotta cheese.....yum yum. My husband ordered a house salad, which was crisp and delicious. For entrees, our companion couple ordered the twin filets and the fish fry. Both were reported to be fantastic. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan and I ordered the Chicken Milanese. Absolutely excellent. For dessert, both couples shared their own order of Tiramisu. I ordered an Espresso and that simply rounded out an amazing dinner. I really can't recommend this place enough.

Service was great and super friendly and we were seated immediately around dinner time. Since it was the "battle" it was loud inside but we didn't mind. Villagio's lies on the sidestreet in what looks like an old barn. It has a unique rustic charm that we enjoyed. It's an italian based restaurant that offers bread with olive oil and seasonings to start. We didn't realize that and also got cheesy bread which comes with a red sausce. Both were delicious. For entrees I ordered bucatini carbonara with chicken and my wife ordered the filleto's. Pricing was reasonable in the $20-$30 range per peson. We enjoyed the visit and had a great time!

We discovered that many places are closed on Monday in town, but not Calarco's. We placed an order for pick-up and the service could not have been nicer. They even accepted plastic, unlike other establishments in town. Portions were huge, the rolls were warm and soft and savory, and that tomato sauce was unique, zesty, and something special. My wife had leftovers of her chicken piccata which she enjoyed; nothing was spared of my eggplant parm as I had to eat it all. Their homemade bleu cheese dressing I asked for with my side salad was so darn good. And to top everything off, we split their last slice of peanut butter pie which was truly an impressive gem. I have had many a pie or cake in fine dining restaurants, yet this particular pie was out of this world. Next time in Westfield, we will meet again, Calarco's.

We didn't have a chance to put our dinner orders in at this point. We ordered entrees right before the appetizers came out, which took a long time anyway, and then immediately after our appetizers and salads came out. We then proceeded to wait over an hour for our food with an inattentive server, no apology, and no explanation. When we asked about our food, we still didn't receive any sort of explanation as to why it was taking so long. Then once we got our entrees, the server brought our check very quickly and condescendingly told us that she knew we were in a hurry...we weren't at the beginning of the night but by that point we were - it had been 2.5 hours since we sat down. By the end of the meal, our graduate splashed a small amount of sauce on her white dress and our server very rudely told her that she shouldn't have worn white to an Italian restaurant and then proceeded to make fun of her and say she needed a bib. The food was tasty but the overall experience of dining here unfortunately means we won't be return customers. We aren't unreasonable people and our group has jobs in the service and hospitality industry, we know there is a correct way to handle these situations and being unsympathetic and apathetic isn't it.

It was a wonderful atmosphere with soft instrumental music and the ability to hear the conversation of people at your table. To start, there was toasted bread with feta cheese and dill pickles. The starter salad was a huge supper entree size plate. The choice wax garden or Cesar. You could get the French Onion soup instead. Had the main Filet Peppercorn sauce. Asked for medium rare and it was amazing but it had a little much gravy for my liking. The baked potato side was a nice side (not too big) which came with butter and sour cream versus having french fries. Veggies were a few string beans, a slice of a big carrot and a piece of red sweet pepper. The plating of such fine expensive entrees was not very sophisticated. Thought it would be plated much nicer than it did. The server was very friendly and helpful. Chefs were accommodating to special requests and the food was excellent.
