Last Friday, we ended up at Josif's. After a short wait at the bar, we were seated and our server, Grace, quickly took our drink orders. The menus had a wide variety of appetizers and entrees. We started with the mussels, stuffed peppers, and Bang Bang shrimp. All were very good. I felt guilty because I lobbied hard for the mussels, only to find that the shrimp were amazing and scarfed down as many as I could without looking like a glutton. All of the apps disappeared quickly and we ordered our mains. I had the tomahawk pork chop, others ordered salmon, a fish fry, beef tips, etc. Everyone loved their meals and I was lucky enough to be full enough from the apps that I took some of the chop home. (It was not a pretty picture as Ifeeedily hunkered over the computer the next day gnawing on the chop bone.) The simplicity of the decor inside belies the quality of the food.
