I have to say the owner here is so nice and helpful. I bought some reins here last fall and she…read moresaid she would oil them for me. Well I got busy and forgot about them. I went back today, several months later and thought she wouldn't remember me. I told her that I had bought them and never picked them up. She said they are right where you left them all nice and oiled. I was so relieved that she didn't sell them to someone else. I wouldn't have blamed her. That was my fault. Thank you so much I will always come back here and shop.

Not only does she have outstanding prices, she knows her inventory, does amazing work on restoring older tack, and is incredibly knowledgeable on everything from saddles to the local community. We've even used her on several occasions for hauling services. She carries both Western and English. She does not carry a lot of apparel, but has a great boot selection. We've purchased headstalls, saddles, blankets, riding breeches... you name it from Tack Shack, always at a fair price and been 100% satisfied. The shop is clean and well organized. She has a clean restroom for her customers and there is easy parking right at the curb or in front of the store. Tip: Call for hours during fire season because if there's a horse emergency, you can be sure Vikki will be there lending a hand.

Many federal and private industries could learn a lot from Monty Robert's methods of teaching. Learning a different style of communicating is what the Night of Inspiration is all about. His training courses geared towards LEOs, Veterans, Fire Fighters, and First Responders have changed lives and given hope to many PTSI individuals. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening and look forward to attending again. Book early, as it took me a year to get a reservation. I hesitated to write this review, but it really needs to be put out there so you know in advance what you're getting into here. A couple of months ago, I bought an item online during a good sale for store pickup. When I picked it up, I asked if I would be able to exchange it for a different size if it turned out to be too big. They said yes, but this turned out not to be true, It was a size too big and when I came back for a replacement, they handed me the new one and told me that I had a balance due! Instead of exchanging it like they said they would, they did a return and pretended like I had not already bought and paid for it and the sale was no longer in effect. If you're buying a high ticket item here on sale, watch out. I was tempted to leave the item, but I needed it so I paid the balance and I will never shop here again. You can get a way better deal from the myriad online retailers. This is not how anyone serious does business, including myself in my own business, and they need to take a course or something. You never revoke a sale, especially when it's an item that is size specific and often tack needs to be exchanged. So much for supporting a local business. This is why corporations do better than mom and pop stores.
