The technician was very pleasant and professional. And honest. My dishwasher decided that it didn't want to drain anymore, so I called up Appliance Concierge Services and they come over for one visit to diagnose the issue and order the correct replacement parts and then they were back within a week to make the repair. I needed someone to come diagnose a fix for an oven repair. They came out, and while the scheduler and the tech were very nice, the tech was not helpful at all. AND he told me he was the most senior tech. He ultimately decided he was not sure what the problem was. He *thought* * maybe* it was something but could not guarantee it (and it was an expensive part that he suggested we order). He said I could try my luck but he wasn't sure if it would actually fix the problem. He actually told me to contact another company. And then charged me the $75 fee which was incredibly annoying since it was the most unhelpful check. Really disappointed in this company and will not recommend or use them again. I felt like they just threw their hands up and took an easy $75 from me. read more

I called them out to my house because I had a dishwasher that wasn't heating up. The repairman took a look, and offered me the honest advice that I'm better off buying a new one. Then he refused to charge me for the trip even though I offered several times. It is unusual these days to find people who will give you good advice that's in your best interest even when it's not in theirs. I trust Appliance Concierge Services, and you should too. read more

Fireplace cleaning: Even though I was able to get someone 2 months faster than a fireplace company I contacted, I'm not sure it was worth the price. The products used were very noxious and still smell a week later. There are spots on the glass when we turn the fireplace on. Our first "professional" fireplace cleaning, so not sure what to expect. Did get a response from the owner saying that the smell and streaks were normal. Quick response appreciated. read more

Appliance Concierge Services is the BEST! I was heartsick when my 19 year old Maytag Neptune washer stopped working. On the referral of a friend I called a different repair service who said it was toast and to start shopping for a new unit. I was lamenting to another friend that night about the situation and she told me to call ACS--that they go the extra mile to find solutions. 1) I left a VM and received a call back within an hour. 2) Mary listened to us without trying to hurry us. 3) Mary researched the issue and called us back in less than a half hour with an option that worked perfectly--it got my household up and running again. The gasket on my fridge's top freezer door seemed to stop working this weekend, but when Anthony (the owner) arrived, he told me that it was not the gasket seal, but rather the leveling of the unit that was off. We had a fridge that wouldn't cool. There was a 3 hour turnaround from the moment I called them, to when the fridge was fixed. Called them at 8am, left a voicemail. Heard back by 9am, scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Then at 10.30am the same day Mary called saying that Anthony had an opening and could come over right then if someone was home. The fridge was fixed by 11am. This kind of customer service is unheard of in this day and age!! Mary and Anthony are experts and knew what the potential issue was when I gave them the make and model number over the phone. I called a few other appliance companies that were giving me a 3 hour window in which they would show up and cost way more. If you are looking for a family-owned company that exemplifies honesty, integrity and great service, look no further! Our dishwasher was giving us all kinds of problems. Our technician at first thought there was an issue with the electrical panel and pump assembly. This dishwasher came with the house and apparently it is an unusual, more expensive brand, so the repairs were going to cost us $450. I scheduled the return visit, but two days later I received a call from one of the owners. They had called the manufacturer, done some research and found that our dishwasher soap brand often caused sudsing issues with our type of dishwasher that caused our kind of malfunction. They urged me to run the dishwasher a few times with a soap they recommended. I did and hooray! No $450 repair necessary. Of course they could have proceeded and we would have been none the wiser. So we TRULY appreciate their trustworthiness, and will recommend them to anyone who needs a home appliance repaired! read more

They gave me an estimate of repairs and let me know any required parts would result in additional charges. Anthony arrived timely, extremely polite and knowledgeable. He was able to get it repaired without needing any new parts, but let me know that the pilot was weak and may need replaced down the road, but it wasn't necessary today - told me to save the money and wait until it needs replaced. read more
