This was a nice place to stop. We popped in for a flight and a pint. The bar tender was welcoming and told us about their brews. We had a nice conversation with one of the owners who happen to be there as well. This place is located right on the main street so easy to find and walkable from most locations. The food menu looked good, but we had just had lunch elsewhere while touring town. I would like to go back to try their food. The beers were tasty. Talking to folks around us, they come in regularly for both the food and brews. Worth the stop.
A nice place to stop in Ouray. The staff are very friendly, and the outdoor patio is really nice with good space and umbrellas. The green chile pizza was good, but could use more green chiles. A good selection of beers brewed nearby on Ridgway as well as some other local CO brews

Visited here on Sunday, October 9, 2022, for dinner. The bar is well lit and they have their own microbrews on tap. My wife and I had a flight of four beers for $18. We sampled the Mexican lager, Hefeweizen, Pale Ale and Irish red. I liked all but the Hefeweizen, it seemed a bit week for me. We both loved the Mexican lager and bought a growler ($18) with a couple of limes to go. I had a pint of the Pale Ale ($6.50) which was medium bodied with just the right amount of hops. We decided on the Tre Forte pizza ($15) with the Detroit crust. This pizza comes with mushrooms, pepperoni, fennel sausage, tomato sauce, and mozzarella. The pizza had nicely crusted cheese on the sides and the crust was thick. My only complaint was they put very little fennel sausage on the pizza. Also, I would have liked more than four pieces to share with the wife. The pizza was okay, but if you visit, stick with the beer. Beer was very good.
2.5/5. Nice patio area, service was fine despite getting a dirty plate with our food. I really did not enjoy the Mia Bella pizza -- it tasted like a low quality frozen pizza (dough-y crust, dry sauce, rubbery cheese, etc.) with some toppings. Super disappointed in what we got for over $22, even in Ouray, and would have rather eaten elsewhere.
Margarita pizza is very good. Fair prices. Employees and music are a bit loud. Read the room - it's not always party time.
I hate leaving mediocre reviews...but I hate lying more. We didn't have the best experience here, but it's not the employees' faults. When we arrived, we waited at the host stand for 5-10 minutes before another person waiting grabbed one of the few employees to take care of the growing number of customers wanting to be seated or put on the waitlist. We were able to get seated pretty fast after that, and we did get our order taken soon after. While we waited for our food, we counted four employees running the front of house on a busy summer Saturday night. They were all juggling much more than they should have been. Our food came out and it was not that great. We ordered a vegan Detroit-style pizza. We're from Detroit, and this was subpar. The biggest issue is that they don't know how to use vegan cheese. It wasn't melted and it was still a bit cold, and the scarcity of sauce didn't help. We patiently waited for our check and got out of there. Would I go back? In a pinch, sure. Willingly? Not so much. There was a lot left to be desired and having the appropriate amount of staff wouldn't fix everything.
Great place to grab a quick beer and some pizza. They did have plenty of indoor and and some outdoor seating with amazing views. Service was quick and the staff was super nice.
Loved this restaurant when visiting Ouray. Aimee was our server and she could not have been nicer! We had the Shishito Peppers which were awesome. We also had Peppadew & Sausage pizza which was excellent. My husband and I both tried several off their draft beers and we were very impressed. Prices were good and we loved being able to sit on the large outdoor patio and enjoy the view! Highly recommend this place.

Great service and very good Detroit style pizza! The salad was the typical rubbery salad that you get at this type of restaurant but the service was great, the beer menu long and diverse and the crème brûlée cheese cake was outstanding! The ambiance was nice- local and sophisticated at the same time. Definitely a repeat!
The dilemma with restaurants that specialize in multiple cultural dishes, which one is going to be better since a place can't have both good Italian and Mexican food? Tonight we rolled the dice and ordered a little off of both menus. Had the home made chips and salsa, salad, the margarita and peppadew sausage pizzas and everything was great. The pizza's were hand tossed, crispy, and thin crusted with tasty toppings and the chips and salsa were fantastic. Service was quick and had plenty of room for the family.

Server was so sweet and patient with us (2 moms, 3 younger kids). 5 stars for service. TV's around to watch any game that is on, appreciated they had football and hockey. Pep pizza for 2 of the kids. Decent pizza, I thought it needed more sauce Wings were meaty and full of sauce, would order again Tried their tavern sandwich with green chile and cheese. It is a very midwestern base (I'm from IL, originally) of ground beef barely seasoned with onion. Green chile was mild but tasty, I needed something else to make it really good, but can't think of what that would be...some sort of sauce? Margaritas were solid, a little sweet so the spicy one was the winner for us. read more

Loved this restaurant when visiting Ouray. Aimee was our server and she could not have been nicer! We had the Shishito Peppers which were awesome. Good was great. We ordered the Honey Pizza, Mia Bella, Pulled Pork Sandwich, kid's pepperoni and cheese, chips and salsa and spinach salad. The service is our only complaint. Just really slow /non existent. The food came out faster than it took us to get seated and order and it wasn't full. read more
Just stopped in for drinks. Chatted with the bartender some (Mike) and he gave me some "Shut Up, Mike" stickers (also my husbands name). Didn't try the food so I can't speak to that but it was a great spot to stop along the main road. read more

Stopped here for takeout a couple times during our visit in Ouray! My fiancé got a pepperoni pizza and shared some cheese pizza with me. Wasn't the best ever, but not too bad! We also got chips and queso, the queso was a little watery and bland but it wasn't bad. Plus they gave us extra chips, free of charge! They are super nice there too, great service! read more

Cute place! The building is really historical for Colorado and the environment in there was nice. Friendly staff and everything went well. Our server was so nice and good at her job. Everyone was doing their part to be safe for COVID as well so thank you to them! I had the chile relleños and they were awesome and very spicy just how I like it :) Good beer options too! You could tell they had a nice patio but it was rainy so we didn't get to sit out there. read more

Is this a comedy club? Because the pizza and the service are a joke. Ordered Detroit Style pizza. See the pictures below. Flat and undercooked. I know Detroit has seen some tough times, but for this pizza to use the name "Detroit Style" is kicking some one while they are down. Tried to flag down anyone in this restaurant to maybe get a remake or get the pizza taken off my bill, but the surly and elderly female bartender never returned and the host who brought our food ran off like he was in a Road Runner cartoon. So, I took the loss and left with the pizza. The review? Dense and unimpressive. And if the owner is reading this, you can check your security camera footage from 9.10.2023 at around 6pm. You'll see me standing there like a chump, paying for this sad excuse for a pizza. For the record - it's not the bad pizza I have the biggest issue with (every cook has off days), it is the utter disregard for the clientele on top of the subpar pie. The town of Ouray, Colorado has amazing restaurants and pubs, just for the record - but a local hotel owner told me to stay away from this place and I didn't listen. This place is over priced and underserviced tourist food. This felt more like I was in a Sbarro in Times Square. Go somewhere else, visitors. Don't make the same mistake I made with this glorified gas station pizza. read more

Great place to fill your belly after a day of hiking in Black Canyon of the Gunnison and box canyon falls. The staff was friendly and attentive, good beer selection also. The food hit the spot and was delicious! read more

While in Ouray for our yearly Fall vacation we decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat before heading out for a night on the town. They have an interesting menu while most of it is pizza they also have mexican food on the menu also. Now we didn't try any of the mexican food but we did have create your own pizza and I have to say it was really good and the prices are fairly reasonable. So if you're ever in the beautiful town of Ouray and want pizza and beer I do recommend coming here their customer service is also top notch. read more

I was a little weary of going some place that served both pizza and Mexican food. But we figured we would give this place a shot and we're not disappointed. Service was great. The food was fantastic. I started the meal with the Colorado Boy Margarita. It was served on the rocks and was tasty. For an appetizer we ordered chili con queso. I had read reviews that indicated it was watery but that wasn't my experience at all. The taste was great and the chips were fresh. My husband ordered the stacked enchilada with beef and the red sauce. He was very happy with the dish. I took a bite as well and found it to be seasoned nicely. I ordered the chili releno with green Chile sauce. The level of spice was perfect and complimented the margarita well. We don't live nearby but if we did I think this would be one of our regular dining spots for sure. read more
The newest location for this popular Colorado brewery franchise, this edition of Colorado Boy is a welcome edition to the food and brewery scene in Ouray. Located in the a wonderful building (formerly occupied by Buen Tiempo), this warm space features floor to ceiling windows, lots of natural light, ample amounts of outdoor seating and a full bar. They not only have their own great brews on tap, but they offer a few other local CO brews as well. Most already know Colorado Boy for their terriffic hand tossed pizzas, but this newest location also features an expanded food menu with an assortment of Mexican food offerings with enchiladas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas - and some salads to balance it all out. On our inaugural visit, folks were getting seated quickly and the place was hopping with a crowd at both the bar, as well as those enjoying the view of the mountains outside. read more
