Amazing dog-friendly outdoor patio with heat lamps and fire pit area. Super friendly staff. Super pet-friendly, most every staff member stopped to greet our dog. The host provided a water bowl and homemade treats too for the pup. Great happy hour menu, good drinks, overall amazing vibes. Nachos - share or order for yourselves, no one is judging. We visited Colorado Campfire last night and it was delicious! We had the Chili Lime Chicharrónes and dipped them in their Queso sauce. OMG. The green chili was excellent. 4 of us went to Colorado Campfire for brunch on Sunday and had a great time! No wait and the decor is so fun. Menu is great - over 70 beers on tap. Brunch has it's own menu, but you can also order from their full menu too. TONS of cocktails, amazing bloodies, mimosas etc. I had the breakfast plate and the breakfast potatoes were seriously some of the best potatoes I've ever had. Crunchy on the outside, but super soft on the inside. I'm excited to come back and see what Colorado Campfire is like during the evening. There are a few TVs to watch whatever sporting events are on and the service was great. Felt very safe with all of their Covid measures. read more

We went there around 7 pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately in the patio. The patio is dog friendly and a cute set up. We thought it took them a little too long to turn the misters off since it wasn't that hot outside. I got the pulled pork sandwich. I really liked it because it had a spicy kick to it and a crunch because they added peanuts to it. I wouldn't think adding peanuts would be good for that sandwich, but it was a good addition. My husband had the brisket sandwich. He liked it, but thought it was closer to a Ruben sandwich because it was on rye bread and had sauerkraut on it. This bar/restaurant is so great because they have all CO beers and Whiskeys! If you really want to be quenched by CO alcohol you just try Tap Fourteen. There is something for everyone!!! I had time to kill and a hungry belly while I waited for a girlfriend of mine to get off work and join me for drinks. While walking through Uptown and Yelping as I went, I walked past Tap Fourteen and then just walking. The reviews were all over the place and I wasn't sure I wanted to risk a bad experience. I made it about three blocks up and realized that this location was new and I needed to give it a fair shot. Plus there was a really cute guy on the patio that I swear made eye contact with me. Brian was behind the bar and he was hilarious, friendly, and made me feel welcome while I dined solo at the bar. Oh, and before I get too far in, no. That random guy and I did not make eye contact like I thought. I moved on and ordered one a cider and the cuban sandwich. Truth be told, I had to send my first sandwich back. The ham was rock hard and impossible to bite through. They had swapped bartenders at this point so Jason apologetically took back my sandwich and the chef made me a fresh one. It was way better and I washed it down with a few more ciders and a shot of tequila. The fries were good, crispy, and fresh and the mac and cheese side was A-OK. It needed a but more seasoning but it's nothing a little salt and peps couldn't fix. What I like about this place is the vibe, the amount of beers they have on tap, and the fact that their GM was slinging drinks when they were busy. I wanted the reviews to be wrong and gave this place a chance, but unfortunately most of the 3 stars were right. The vibe seems cool when you walk in, lots of TV's which is great if you love sports. We had 4 people in our group and ordered 4 of the same cocktails. The server came back and told us they only had enough left to make 3... If this would happen at another place, they would usually offer a discount for another drink, or even cover it for us. In this case, they did not even seem to care. Overall we felt rushed. read more

Service was great, the Elevation ketchup was better. The burgers were amazing, Brussels sprouts were too, burger was even better with the ketchup . Very nice, chill atmosphere, good people too. This was quite honestly one of the worse places I have dined at in the state of Colorado. The service was extremely slow. When we were sat at our table, the server DROPPED our silverware on the ground in front of us, picked it up and still PUT IT ON THE TABLE. Like are you serious?!?! We should have just left then. I asked the server what were the items on the menu they are known for and that make up the whole "campfire" theme. The server was like "I mean nothing really. We have a s'mores cocktail with a roasted marshmallow and thats about it". With the whole table confused, we placed an order for these pretzel bites. When they came, they were nothing close to a pretzel... they were almost like fried donut balls. They tasted so awful. I decided at that point, our experience was beyond terrible and it was time to cash out and go somewhere else. I couldn't take another minute of being in that establishment. I dont know how this place stays in business. Huge missed opportunity with the theme. This place is just an awful restaurant with a gas fire pit on the patio and a roasted marshmallow. Not very "campfire" to me. We also had friends that ate dinner here and had a similar experience, except they actually ordered and entree (they didn't run out if that place like we did). Over the next hour, we watched half of the tables in the restaurant empty and the staff put reserved signs on the tables. After an hour, we inquired about this and when our table might be ready. The manager told us that those tables were reserved for 6:00 and it was still unknown when we might get a table. He also unapologetically blamed his hostess for misquoting our time. This place was built to handle outdoor dining. They have a great patio that wraps two sides of the restaurant. Their food is great, try the Chorizo burger for a special treat. First impressions are everything - the cleanliness and inviting aura was phenom. 70+ selections of craft beer. My boyfriend loved the milk stout beer btw!! Visiting from Chicago with our German and Staffador we were openly welcome on the dog friendly patio that even had fresh water mist to keep it refreshed. This place has it's pros and cons depending on what you are looking for. I will say I visit early on, and I'm sure they are working out some issues and getting the groove of things. If you are looking for drinks I think this place is great. They have a large selection and our server was extremely knowledgeable. I had a blonde porter, which I've never tried before. Server recommended it and it was indeed great! On the flip side I would easily avoid this place for food. The mac & cheese was served cold and there was a really odd spice to it. I wasn't able to finish the dish. If you're looking to have some drinks with friends this is the place to go! If you are looking for amazing food and have time to spare I would consider checking out a different restaurant. read more

We really enjoyed our visit to Colorado Campfire. The drink selection is unbeatable and we appreciated the fact that they had such a large selection of local beers on tap. You would have to spend every day here for months in order to try them all - a challenge I wish I could accept. The food was also exceptional. Colorado Campfire is a fine stop for a good cocktail and friendly waitstaff, but doesn't do much to establish itself as a place you'd try to come back to. The staff are quick and accommodating, but even in the middle of the week their substantial appearing craft beer menu was, in reality, much slimmer. I think we asked about 3 different beers before finding one that they did still have. The food is fine, with better standouts like the mint lamb burger undercut by lackluster fries. Their barbecue is not great, but my partner ate it without complaint (if you've had Texas or even Carolina barbecue, this isn't the dish for you) - within that dish, their Brussels sprouts were good and the chicken was well-cooked, even if the sauce wasn't my favorite.
