Our tour guide was Caleb and he was really patient with the group that got there late and to make matters worse, they didn't speak English so he had to explain things slowly in order for them to understand the necessary information. They slowed us down because they didn't understand what they were doing but all in all, Caleb made it up to us and we had a great time. Our instructor was super friendly and helpful, made sure we were safe and showed us all the best spots/views. It was cold at the top, so be sure to bundle up! 2 hour was the perfect duration for us as we started to feel the cold and tire out/get hungry. The manager admitted to handling my boat without my consent or knowledge and that it was his right to do so. Owner and manager have refused to compensate for the damages after several months of back and forth emails. Owner tried to get his insurance to pay for the damage but I'm assuming was denied since he has not responded to me for several months. Manager stated they are not responsible for damage to vessel - even if they were the last to handle the boat. First, this is not written into the mooring agreement and if it were, this would be deemed unconscionable. Just absurd.

I contacted Pelican Bay and asked for a refund, or credit b/c they advertised the Buckstiend was starting at 7pm, at 8pm they still weren't on stage. I get this was the first concert of the season, and there were hiccups, which is why I was okay with credit. They never responded to my request-just ignored me, so I challenged the charge with my credit card company, I am not sure why they are surprised, I did contact Pelican Bay first on two separate occasions. I am now banned from their facility and being refunded, not for the Buckstein tickets I purchased, but for the upcoming concert tickets, I already purchased tickets for. WOW, seems a little over the top, they could have just called me back or responded to my email, and apologies for the kinks. I feel like Erik is a 13-year girl, and I am her mother who just told her, her skirt was too short.

I have had to take back the boat multiple times with out it being fixed correctly the first time. This most current time is after paying 3k for new pulleys and belts, water pump, impeller, the boat never ran right leaving us stranded twice on the lake. The worst is yet to come, the house that service built, is a joke to me now. The gentlemen got upset with me asking for a part # to see if I could expedite it so I could keep family plans for the weekend and not disappoint people coming to town to enjoy the lake. He cussed on the phone and refuses to talk to me know. Each time I ask for he manager Kevin, he is not there. I am human I make mistakes, we all do, I am giving them a chance, but I asked for transparency and communication which I did not receive. No apologies ever just an excuse that they are human and they make mistakes. I understand this as a person who helps others in recovery, we all do. I am asking for simple service and customer service steps. Hopefully they can call me back to be communicative, set an expectation and show some sense of urgency for my time, my money and my plans. I would not recommend going if you want simple service, and good communication and putting the customer first. All 3 they failed on, and in an ever more competitive world you would think service is what would stand you apart from the competition.
