We came in and sat at the bar so it was full service. The bartenders were super friendly and very attentive. We ordered drinks some wine and apps. I liked the fried pickles but they were cut a bit thick so felt hard when biting into them. They tasted fresh though so that's a plus. The Smokey Mac n cheese I enjoyed, however my friend thought it was too Smokey for her taste. The bar is really cute though and the restaurant has tons of seating. Also dog friendly in and outside!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Colt Grill. They always seem to be smoking the meat when I'm there and it totally gets my mouth watering as soon as I walk in the door. The chicken salad was new for us, generous portion of meat and the smoked flavor really came through the whole salad. I got my usual half chicken, but decided to pair it with a nice flight of beers. It looks like they got new glasses since my last visit, these look like small ball, mason jars, so cute! The lady at the counter remembered me from my visit months ago, and everybody was super friendly and helpful. Please note that you must pay for your food and alcohol separately and if you sit in the bar, they will bring you your beverage from the bar. Can't wait to visit again!

What a great place to bring the family, enjoy some of the most tastiest variety BBQ's ever. Drinks are self served and the atmosphere is welcoming and very rustic so don't forget to being your cowboy boots and a hat and you'll fit right it! Here's how it works: Walk in, order at the counter, find a table that suites your needs, wait for your name to be called, pick up your food at the chef station (in view), grab the sauces you're taste buds desire, fill your drink & enjoy your meal. A waitress or waiter will then come and remove trash. The sauces range from sweet to spicy. Try them all.. Everything you order will be hearty and well worth the price! Not to toot their horn; but they surely have something to toot over.. Thanks for the delicious meal!

Cool spot on the corner with plenty of indoor seating and outdoor if it's not too cold. When you walk in grab a menu and order at the counter unless you're going to the bar. It's open seating once you order which is nice. I went to the bar and ordered a small brisket player with colt slaw and corn bread. They have a sauce bar with like 9 options. My favorite were the Texas tangy and habanero. Brisket was good as well as the slaw. The cornbread was hefty and the butter was absolutely delightful. I think happy hour is 3-5 but I didn't ask what the deals were. There's mostly street parking but I didn't have a problem finding a spot around five.

We love visiting this place when we are im Prescott. Everything we order is delicious. I had the ABC burger and shared the brisket sandwich. Both were superb and stacked with lots of meat. The staff was so nice to my toddler and brought him crayons. Highly recommend this place.

We were walking to a different establishment but were stopped by the awesome bbq/smoke smells permeating from the building. It's a walk in, order and find a seat establishment. They call a number when your food is ready. The garlic butter fries were super good. A great place to check out.

Great barbecue menu and sides. Amazing sauces. Only complaint is that it is so loud and chaotic and nearly impossible to find a seat. You order first and then staff doesn't really help you. Overall, still worth it, because the food is so good!!!!

Colt Grill in Prescott offers a cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying creative holiday cocktails like the spiced eggnog. The smoked mac and cheese and potato salad were delicious--we picked up these sides for a picnic and enjoyed drinks while waiting. A fantastic spot for great food and festive vibes!

Always yummy. Consistent quality. The protocol for ordering and seating yourself is confusing to the first timer. The smell of BBQ will draw you in from far and wide.

This is a must for anyone that comes to visit from out of town! They serve the best BBQ brisket sandwich and it's definitely one of my all time faves! I appreciate the outdoor patio because it is dog-friendly and is usually much quieter than the indoors. They do have live music, but not sure of the schedule. Do be aware that it can get loud! We were here for lunch on this particular day. Whether you eat outside or inside, you do have to work for your food! They have a counter where you place your food order and then a separate bar (full bar) where you stand in line again to place your alcohol drink orders. Lines do tend to move pretty quick for placing food orders, but can back up for drink orders. Once you get your food, there is a counter (both inside and out) where you can stock up on condiments, including a variety of bbq sauces. I really appreciate this part, because I'm so extra when it comes to sauces! Staff is friendly and very attentive, both indoors and out! Restaurant is always clean, including restrooms, and pato dining area is maintained clean despite the elements (weather can be harsh!). Outdoor heaters are available for those chilly days and/or nights.

Oh my! I'm not a big fan of BBQ but the smells from this place were irresistible. I decided on a brisket sandwich that did not disappoint! Lots of meat and perfect in texture and flavor. My friend said her burger was perfect and juicy. Our only complaint was figuring out how to order. You place your order and then pay right there at the cashier. Once your number is called you pick up your food so no waitress service. It's cozy, rustic looking and I'm looking forward to going back. That brisket! Oh my!

Great BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches. The Prickly Pear Lemon Drop cocktail was so so scrumdillyumptious!! I like the ordering style of this restaurant [order and pay and then get your food]. Very homey interior and exactly the interior you expect for a BBQ place.

This is the best location. For those who want "table service", you can belly up to the bar for a full service experience. The food is fantastic and the prices are affordable. My husband and I will drive up north just for BBQ... can't find anything as good in Phoenix!

Gathered around the Forged Charcoal Grill, sipping wine at sunset and enjoying one another's company--there is no better way to show them what they mean to you than a nice dinner. My girlfriend and I went a little "nutzo koo koo" and picked up steaks, hamburgers, Bacon Fig Kabobs, hand-made sausage, and dried Morel mushrooms. There is even a great selection of seasonings and a dedicated cheese refrigerator to round out the meal. To clear up some confusion from other reviews: this is a legitimate butcher shop, not a restaurant! We watched the butcher bringing out fresh hand-cut steaks, bone-in ribeyes, and even a massive Tomahawk. They also have fresh, never-frozen prepared hamburger patties ready to go. We definitely splurged, and even though we live 2 hours away in Phoenix, the helpful store manager--a friendly Viking with an amazing red beard--gave us an ice pack to keep our provisions perfectly refrigerated for the trek home. The cut of meat was absolutely beautiful and slow cooked so easily. There was a bit of unexpected fat, but nothing too out of line with quality, and it was delicious.
