The broken rice was topped with green onion oil and crispy pork-fat bits, and it came with a side of fish sauce. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and very filling. The only disappointment was the avocado shake, which was far too sweet for me to finish. Service: The service was fine overall, although my friend received his food before I did. It wasn't a major problem, but it would have been nicer if both meals had arrived around the same time. The staff was otherwise pleasant. Rice plates here are so good. However, it's quite expensive (over $23 a plate). Rice plates rating: 5/5. Price: 3/5. The pho is great also. I like it with the "Fresh noodles." Pretty good! I haven't really had good Asian food in the Sacramento/Roseville area but this broken rice place was good! I later found out that the owners are the same as the one in San Jose! When you are ready to pay, simply walk to the counter and they will ring you up. If you pay in cash, they will give you a discount to your bill, credit cards will get an additional 3.75% charge. Okay, first of all let's just get it out there, the food is good. The sauce for the BBQ and the BBQ itself was good, the Fried Fish Cake was okay. Although what really turns me off is the fact that when you think of a combination plate of food they'll give you a decent amount but as you can see in the picture I was given only 1 BBQ Shrimp. Which is appalling, for 18$ they sure know how to provide the shock of amount for it. I saw this next door and there was no wait and decided to give it a try. I didn't see the chicken pho on the menu so I asked the waiter and he said they had it so I Ordered the chicken pho. The menus aren't real menus but to go paper menus. In my chicken pho, I got only 3 Wings and a drumstick. I think they might've just threw whatever chicken they had and said it's chicken pho. Majority of my chicken was all fat so I couldn't eat it. I got the bill and my small chicken pho was $17.95 and definitely didn't think it was worth it at all. I should've just ordered noodle soup for $9. Also parking is really hard to find here on a weekend as it's really busy with a number of other restaurants and retailers in this plaza. During the service, a staff named ( Thanh ) displayed an unprofessional attitude and a lack of respect toward customers. Specifically : speaking rudely, not greeting customers, showing a bad attitude, handling issues irresponsibly, ignoring customers. This made me feel disrespected and significantly reduced the quality of service I received. I have come to eat and support many times, but each time I receive a bad attitude from this waiter. I came in on 10/2/25 it was running and cold, they were not that busy, they tried to seat us at the table next to the doors, I told them I wanted a seat closer inside so it will be warmer. They said they will have to clean the table for us, however there were 3 tables available and the whole right side open. Heck yaaaa! So happy they have a Com Tham Thien Huong here in Central Valley. The only one I have been to is the one in the Bay Area. And in my opinion that's where you can really find the best Asian food. So I'm celebrating that there is a Com Tham Thien Huong here. It's a little bit of a drive for me, but not as far as going to the Bay Area, and it's totally worth it. This place specialty is the broken rice. A lot of the Vietnamese restaurants in this area that I have found either don't have broken rice on the menu, or lack of certain ingredients that makes the dish delicious and authentic. They offer the sugar cane wrapped shrimp, fried shrimp cake, egg meat pie, shredded pork skin. Com Tam Thien Huong holds a soft spot in my heart! I've been going to their locations in San Jose ever since I was a kid, and this spot definitely didn't disappoint either. I actually think the food at this one tastes better than the food from the SJ locations! I alternate between getting #70 and #71, both taste great and are pretty much the same dish.
