Service was great.. the waitress knows us from our parents and came to say hi and took our order right away .. I ordered the bun bo hue while my brother had the pho bo kho and we also shared a Banh beo plate appetizer. The Banh beo plate was delicious . The topping is like a pork mixture of some type.. I liked the combo . My bun bo hue was on the bland side and it didn't have all the toppings that a bun bo hue bowl usually has. My personal favorites are the bun bo hue and bun rieu. My husband usually gets the chicken pho, and my boys like the beef pho. Customer service has always been friendly and consistent whenever we come in. Parking can be a little tricky since they share a busy lot with other businesses, but it's definitely worth it for the food. read more

I always get confused between com sườn nướng and cơm thịt nướng but I definitely recommend getting the thit nuong for sure! The suon nuong can be dry and not the best... Like other small Viet restaurant you have to wave the waiters down, ask for what you want, and pay at the cash register. One of the best bun Bo hue in town. I've been coming here for many years. The food is good but the service is like any typical pho places, very fast pace and do not check on you. You'll have to flag someone down if you need anything. I haven't dine in since the pandemic and was super excited to dine in. It's a super busy complex so it's hard to find parking. 18. Bun Bo Hue Came here on a Monday around noon time and it wasn't very busy. We had empty tables around us. We all ordered the Bun Bo Hue. The portion was just right for me. Normally I have a hard time finishing my bowl. Only complaint is the porks feet were tough to bite through. Other meats were ok. Wished there was Viet ham in it. The Broth tastes good. With a large dining area tables are set up and photos of menu items on the wall they open at 8am (check updates) dine in or take out. Stopped by since Lollibowl was closed. I haven't been here in probably over a decade! It was very nostalgic walking in, because everything looked exactly like it did years ago. It wasn't as busy on a Sunday afternoon surprisingly. This place has always been known for their BBH. If you like spice, you gotta get that. You can always eat a Vietnamese bowl of soup on a hot day. I appreciated the fresh greens and herbs that came with it; none of the leaves were wilted or old. The eggrolls (4) were kind of skimpy, like a kids meal with only two leaf lettuce. The pho dac biet was a bit disappointing compared to the BBH because it very bland. The flavor in the broth only sat on top. As you take more bites, the flavor went away. This is not a vegetarian friendly place. The broth was disgusting. The noodles were hard. How is rice noodles hard after you've let them sit? The vegetables look poorly. Even after I tried to doctor the broth up it was nasty. I could make better Pho at Home and I can't make Pho. I paid 16.70 for a Vegetarian Pho which on the menu said 13.95. Located in the back of a small shopping center, we stopped by to get some midday pho on a Sunday afternoon hoping for a hideaway gem to feed us. It was not busy at all and we got served right away. Pho broth was very tasty but the noodle portion was not enough for the size. They also apparently raised their prices on the small pho recently because it is double than what is listed on Yelp and on menu pictures. Not sure How I feel about this place. Unlike other reviews, I didn't find their service that great. It felt pretty standard to other pho places I've been to. One thing I did notice as the food was coming out was that the restaurant used a microwave. At the table I sat at, I can look at the mirror to see the reflection of the kitchen. The microwave is under the counter and I can see them use it quite often too. I really wonder what they microwave in there... In terms of food. I have only tried the BBH. While the soup tasted beefy, I thought it was super lacking in the spicy department. It did have some chili oil at the top but I really couldn't taste it at all. Well there is a group of kids who love this place dearly from the bay area would drive from sf to sac for this place. The 2 oho they loved most is the bun bo hue and bun rieu. They say these 2 orders remind of them having authentic pho from home made by grandma. So they decided to re create these 2 pho in the bay area as pop up to spread the pho popularity and knowledge in the bay area. . So I had to come try again since I have not been here for ages. My favorite to go to is for bun rieu pho here . . Bun rieu pho is served in a nice generous portion. The pho is nicely presented in a orange and red looking broth. The color comes from the tomatoes. The pho comes with vermicelli noodles. As well some fried tofu and pig blood. As well quail eggs. The pho comes with a shrimp chili paste on the side. As well a plate of cabbage mint leaf and cilantro and limes. . The price range is from 895 for a small and a large is 1095. 2 bowls of large was 22 even if paid by cash. . This spot is hidden behind lollibowl on Stockton blvd. If your wondering. This place is easily missed if you don't look for it. I love me authentic and hidden gems like this. . I am Taiwanese but I was introduced to this restaurant from a Vietnamese friend. He said he comes here weekly! With that type of hype, he took me here and we ordered number 10. It was spicy beef and pork noodle soup or as he called it the BBH. This dish is unique in that the noodles are similar to the Taiwanese dish Mi Tai Mu (米苔目) Thick Rice Noodles. On top of this unique noodle, the dish comes with pigs blood curd very common in traditional Taiwanese soups. I was blown away and brought my mother over the weekend to try. She is equally impressed. We will be looking to come here more and find a dish that has more pigs blood cubes my mother likes so much! read more

The menu is a basic menu, that includes all the favorites and items you would find at any pho restaurant. Our food came out very quickly. I can't remember exactly which Pho I got, but it was good & flavorful. Not the best I've had, but definitely not bad. Their service is quick, but other than that, not stellar. There's not much enthusiasm or friendliness...but again, not bad. The prices are comparable to other pho places. We came here after getting lost trying to find a different restaurant. They were getting ready to close and still allowed us to come in and order. The customer service was really nice. The pho was delicious, very flavorful. Since they were closing we ordered our food to go even though they were ok with us dining in. My mom was craving bun bo hue, so she wanted to come here. It was my first time, but I wasn't hungry. Just to entertain her, I ordered the pork spring rolls. Nothing special at all, actually, it was horrid. They somehow gave me two bowls of the peanut sauce at different times. It actually looked like they split the sauce into two bowls and heated it up in a microwave because the sides of the sauce were all dried up. I think the staffs thumb was inside the bowl of the sauce, remembering as I'm typing. The spring roll itself was just not up to par. The pork was thinly sliced, not really how it's supposed to be, it was just not good. I've had my fair share of pork spring rolls in LA and Vietnam, it did not taste like this. My boyfriend didn't know better on how it should taste, but he wasn't too happy with it either. My mom, of course, enjoyed it supposedly and then complained about it to me afterwards. The meat were too hard and chewy? The flavor wasn't there anymore. Not sure, but the next day my boyfriend got really sick. Felt nauseous and went to the bathroom a few times along with vomiting. He was super sick and not well. Two days later, I got really sick....way worse than him! I was in and out of the bathroom for 4 hours! I was literally green and felt like dying. Customer service was horrible! After the waiter sat my wife, son, and I down at a table, he gave us menus and water but never came back. There were two waiters, the young guy, and a middle age lady and about 7 tables, 5 of which have food already. The other table that came right after us ordered and got their food within 5 min. After waiting for almost 20 min, we decided to leave because they didn't come take our order or acknowledge us or let us know they'll be right there.
