I am giving this place 3 stars based on the pizza I had tonight. The quality of the pizza was great!! I can tell they value the quality of their food here. I just was not satisfied with the recipe for the al pastor pizza.. it sounded so delicious but once I had it the flavors just didn't come together. Individually each of these ingredients are mouth watering but together on dough with a bean sauce is a little too much. I've seen the other pizza recipes they offer and they all sound good and I am eager to get back and try a few more. Also the service here was great. All the staff was very welcoming and had great menu knowledge. This seems like a cool spot to watch a game one day. This place is a hidden gem. We get pizza from here at about once a month. Usually the combo/supreme pizza is the best pizza most pizza spots. However, our favorite is the carne asada pizza. It's perfect for people who love Mexican food and pizza. Their margarita pizza is another favorite. Combo's is the local pizza place that you should be ordering from and patronizing. For the second year in a row, Lorena and the Combo's crew helped us out with our year end basketball league pizza parties. And I don't just mean that we went and bought pizza. No, we went in ahead of time, ordered the food, and she and her crew delivered - every hour, on the hour - for 5 different deliveries. Not only do they not charge for delivery (awesome!) but they brought plates, left us with the "hot bag" so the pizza would stay warm until we were ready to eat it after each game ended, and then picked up the previous bag upon the next delivery. To top it off, even though they don't open until 11, she and her crew came in early to make sure that our first group of kids had their pizza delivered and ready at 9:45 am. Again, no charge! (and yes, even at 10 am, the kids ate ALL THE PIZZA!) Lorena is amazing, and her whole crew is pretty awesome too - every time we order even just a couple pizzas/salads for the family, they take the care to show us everything before we leave to make sure it's right and provide all the "extras" you need. They have great specials, and the food is delicious. You really can't go wrong. Whenever my wife and I are craving pizza this is the place we choose! Not only is it pretty close to our house but the prices are unbeatable! And the pizza is great, taste wise. It's a small place in a little strip - we have never had bad service here and they are always on too of it. I believe last time we came here we got a medium pizza with 3 toppings and a side of breadsticks and it was around $9 which is crazy to me! It was so worth it! The place is small with about -/+10 tables. They have TVs and usually have a game on or ufc fights. They service beer here so if you choose to eat in. They also sell 2 liters if you want that with your pizza. Overall always a good visit when we order from here. Pizza is always consistent and price is great. We ordered a half meat lovers pizza and half pastrami pizza I know huh weird pastrami pizza? It was not weird at all but delicious. They also offer a bucket of beer for $15 pick and choose your beer five beers. Next time we're going to try carne adada pizza or El Pastore pizza. If it's as good as the pastrami we will be thrilled. I've never had anything remotely close to a carne asada pizza before and when I saw that it was on the menu, I knew I just had to get it. And I was not let down. Ingredients were fresh, sauces were savory, staff was friendly. Only thing I can gripe about is the price. It is definitely on the pricier side. Of course you can't expect Costco prices from a small store like this (the reviewer who made that comparison is delusional to think that it's fair). Even still, it's worth noting that you should expect to pay a little bit more. It's worth it every now and then! When I ordered a delivery for the hawaiian pizza and the calzone, I never thought that it would be awesome. Well, I was wrong. It was really good that I was so surprised when I ate it. To be honest, pizza is okay, above average I'd say, but the calzone, oh my god, the calzone is one of the best that I've ever eaten. It was so fluffy and cheesy and the garlic tasted so good. Then there's the dipping sauce. Ranch was a little bit too watery for me but the tomato sauce was perfectly seasoned. I love pizza sauce with lots of basil, so this one is a winner for me. Our order of Combo sticks came out after about 14 minutes of waiting and ignoring each other whilst playing on our phones. About a minute later our pizza came out. The pizza itself and the crust/dough were kind of disappointing in that it tasted like cardboard and the texture was close to it. The combo sticks were great, but we asked for more marinara and that took another 10 minutes and by the time we got it, we were on our last combo stick. we ordered combo's pizza for a meeting of about 30 people and there food was a hit!!! i was able to speak to the owners (lorena) a few days before our meeting and place the order very easily. she even gave me her cell in case we needed to get a hold of her and she wasn't at the store. unlike a lot of other places combo's doesn't charge for delivery which made us want to be more generous with our tip. we ended up ordering 8 pizzas and a half tray of salad and everyone had enough to eat. they have a lot of cool pizzas you can't find at most places... carne asada pizza!!! they supplied us with plates, napkins, utensils, peppers/ cheese. we were blown away when lorena came and helped deliver our order. now that's some amazing customer service!!!! can't recommend this place enough. excellent food, stellar customer serice... what more can you ask for? read more
