First time eating here, I placed A phone order for the XL Pizza and wing combo. Pretty good stuff. The pizza was good, a little thinner than I'm used too but still delicious. The wings were good and saucy. They have good ranch for the wings and offered cheese, crushed pepper, and plates. The woman at the counter was very nice and so was the gentleman who took my phone order. Looked like a family run business to me. We'll be back again! read more

Look no further if you want good pizza at an affordable price and want to support a local shop. This place easily trounces dominos or Pizza Hut nearby establishments. Many more topping options than either and most importantly it tastes great and good price. This isn't Fucco pizza or your beer and pizza joint 2 saucy broads. Wow. The folks at Combo's are so nice! I am travelled from Michigan for work and was looking for a place with great pizza. I called ahead and asked for something special. They had no problem whipping something up quick for me. I had a thin crust, 10" "Specialties". It was basically a deluxe. I loved it. Cutest was perfect, so was the sauce. The toppings were good too. In my many years of life I've eaten more pizza than I care to remember or admit. I've had good pizza and I've had bad pizza, but there are very few times that I can remember having great pizza. Combos Pizza is one of the few times I've had GREAT pizza. I usually stick to the big chains because of convenience, but I decided to give combos a try and wow, am I glad I did. I kept it simple and ordered one pepperoni and a second pizza with pepperoni, sausage and jalapenos. The overall experience was excellent! The pizza was delivered hot and fresh, the crust crispy but still delicious and chewy at the same time, the sauce was wonderful, and the toppings were plentiful. This will definitely be my new go to pizza spot. It looks like I'm going to have to put my diet on hold a little while longer, because I can't wait to give more of combos creations a try. read more

I was introduced to this place by a friend and it was the best thing she has ever done for me. No one makes cheesy garlic bread as good as they do. It is rich in flavor. The texture and crunch of the bread is perfect. The amount of cheese given is amazing. I will be returning. I had their chicken Alfredo pasta a couple times but I wasn't that big of fan by it. Nothing was wrong with it, I am just so used to eating olive gardens pasta. It is still delicious tho! I will be returning and they follow covid regulations. I love their workers! The pizza tastes great, and I assume it got here on time. My main issue is that no one heard a knock. At all. We were waiting in the living (right next to the door) with windows open, and we didn't hear anything. I only found the pizza because I checked the app, and it said delivered, so that prompted me to open the front door. When I opened the pizza box, a fly flew out, which I guess is because it was sitting there for awhile. I requested it to be a contactless delivery, but I didn't mean for them to leave the pizza and go without letting anyone know. Also, I had requested the pizza be left on one of two columns outside my door (about 4 feet tall), and it was left on the dirty ground. In the future, please follow directions and knock LOUDLY, and also ring the door bell. Again, the pizza tastes good. I just wish I didn't have to have see that fly on my lukewarm food that was sitting outside for 20 minutes. read more

Have gone 3 more times since the first time i went. I keep sharing to everyone and rave how yummy this pizza is. Most recently we tried the al pastor pizza and holy moly i couldn't believe that i could love it more than the asada (which i loove) like what?!?! This place is bomb.com great service ready in minutes ph and my last review i posted that i didnt care for the pepperoni well i take it back. Combos pizza offers a variety types of pizza toppings. Ok including the chicken Alfredo, the Mexican and the pastrami. Yes they are good and yes they are different but man are they bad for you. So be cautious! The prices are good and sometimes they offer some specials. We have ordered delivery and even though it takes a while we find it being worth it. I had a very frustrating experience tonight with Larry's Pizza…read more We placed our order at 6:45 PM through a delivery app. I specifically chose delivery because I currently have a twisted ankle and am unable to walk well, so picking up food was not an option for me. By 8:39 PM, we still had no food and no communication. When we finally went to the restaurant to figure out what was going on, the doors were locked and they weren't answering the phone. We had to knock on the door just to get someone's attention. Once we spoke to them, they claimed they called us three times to say they were out of dough, but we never received a single call. When we asked for any proof of those calls so we could show the app and request a refund, they refused to provide anything. They also said they would not refund us because the order was placed through the app, even though they never fulfilled the order. To make matters worse, another couple came in and picked up their pizza while we were there, and they said they placed their order after ours. So after waiting almost two hours, we ended up with no pizza, no refund, and no help resolving the issue. Running out of dough can happen, but the lack of communication, locked doors, unanswered phones, and refusal to help resolve the refund made this a very disappointing experience.

We had a party of about 17 + in our adults only for happy hour reserved for 4:15 - 7 PM to celebrate the launch of our 2nd year together. We ordered a variety of apps and pizza flavors. For apps, the zucchini fries with ranch dressing were BOMB! Our group also enjoyed the lemon pepper and teriyaki wings, tossed just right, not too saucy. Let's talk about their pizzas and pies: deep dish pepperoni, vegetarian, margherita cheese, pepperoni (A+ curl on the pep), buffalo chicken, and the star finale, chicharrones topping - pizzas (ALL in Extra Large) and as the came in, the waitresses and water brought it out piping hot! The cheese pull was real and long, the sauce was even, and the dough wasn't too chewy or too thick, just right. The person on the phone reserving and taking my order before we even arrived, was super nice to me. When we got there, people can order the own items at the register. The servers are super friendly and their HH "refills" kept coming. The ambiance is SUPER CHILL and loud. Games on TV screens, air hockey for those who don't like to talk to who is there, but just play. I'm glad small businesses like these still exist in NOC.

I tried Tony's Little Italy Pizza in Placentia for the first time and I can attest that THIS IS IN NO-WAY AN "AUTHENTIC CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA" as advertised. It's not even close. I can't fault the enthusiasm of family frontmen like Taylor or his Uncle, Tony, for their contagious enthusiasm for their product, but all other comparisons end there. I lived in Chicago for more than a decade working for Leo Burnett Advertising/Chicago where the real Chicago deep dish pizza's, the standards by which you would judge "authentic," are Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria Uno, and Lou Malnati's (a distant 4th in the rankings). These pizzas are HEAVY with quality ingredients and though deep dish, the crust is something that never gets in the way. In TRUE CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA ingredients are 90% of the pizza, the crust 10% or less. The opposite is the case at Tony's where they make pizza's that are ALL dough and FEW ingredients. Tony's Little Italy Pizza offers a poor rendition of true Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. I ordered a 12" sausage, spinach, and mushroom - the exact same pizza I'd order at Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria UNO, or Lou Malnati's countless times. What I got was a pizza that is 90% tasteless dried bread called a crust and a few tablespoons of ingredients (sausage, spinach, mushrooms) disguised under a heavy tomato sauce. In many places the unappetizing crust extended all the way to the surface hidden only by the tomato sauce topping on my pizza. Looks good but the deception ends there. I got almost no cheese, few mushrooms, skimpy sausage, and miserly spinach. This may be what one call's Chicago STYLE (and that's what Tony's should call it) pizza out here on the west coast, but this pizza definitely would not carry its own weight in Chicago. If you've eaten Chicago Deep Dish Pizza in Chicago where I've been you will easily be able to relate to everything I am saying. If you've never had a real Chicago Deep Dish Pizza then be forewarned. This isn't the real deal. It's what Little Caesar's would do if they tried to sell Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. All dough, no substance. As Scotty said in Star Trek TOS, " Fool me once-shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." We won't be going back. Appearances are deceiving!

Maybe this is the way they're supposed to be made, but mine had a whole bunch of ingredients all pushed in the center with tons of thick dough surrounding it, which was not ideal when it came time to eat. Thick dough with zero ingredients around the perimeter and then thin dough with tons of ingredients in the middle. I'll definitely stick to their pizzas moving forward.

We used Combo's Pizza to cater a birthday party at Kid Empire and it was a huge hit! The food was absolutely delicious and arrived with everything we needed, including all the serving spoons and essentials, so setup was completely stress-free. The staffs were super helpful, friendly, and easy to work with from start to finish. The quality and presentation were great, and the pizzas, pastas, and chicken wings were loved by both kids and adults. Several people at Kids Empire actually came up to ask where the food was from because it smelled and looked so good. They were talking about using Combo's Pizza for their own parties. What a great place to grab a bite! I bought a groupon and my family and I ordered a large carne asada pizza and it was amazing. The owner by far was the most hospitable and generous woman I've ever met! The service here was so ridiculously awesome, that I couldn't even believe that what I was experiencing was real. The owner and another employee came by to check on us often to make sure we were doing well. They turned on the AC, gave us whatever we needed. Not bad but expected better. Got delivery, so that may explain why their crust was a bit on the soggy side. The sauce for the garlic bread, was too small! Thankfully we had some extra pasta sauce at home we reheated. Their positive though is that their toppings do seem to be a higher quality. read more

My team isn't that big so it worked out, but next time I'd go for the bigger size. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives, so five stars from me. The service is great and the family who owns it definitely puts everything they have into running a solid business.

Flavor, texture, thinness and dough are all on point. Simplicity is key here, you choose cheese or pep. Both are absolutely delicious. Lots of places make pep taste too salty, but balance is really good here. If there is any thing I could suggest it would be wanting just a tiny bit more tomato sauce, but it's so minor compared to the major pitfalls of many other pizza joints. They have a 2 pie max for quality control for takeout as it seems like he hand-makes each pizza to order, and although might be unfortunate for large parties for smaller gatherings should be enough! For context, 2 large pizzas was about $45 and could easily feed like 5-6 people (I was able to feed 8). So honestly very budget friendly compared to some other ones I've tried that were $30+ for a single pizza (and didn't even taste as good). Definitely a spot I need to come back to and try in-person. Although I'm sad I can only do Fridays or Saturdays, I'd prefer consistency and quality over quality especially as a pizza lover. So.... Here's to my go-to pizza spot on Fri/Sat!
