WI FI has been every day for extended periods of time. The latest down time was as recently as 1 hour ago. The service has demerited badly. They source their customer helpdesk, technicians are subcontracted with no direct connection to the company. 5 appointments, 3 hours on the phone, their billing team didn't review my order or service. They then rescheduled for the next day and they did not show up again. After contacting the service center, they informed us they will not be able to send a technician through the holidays and the earliest would be January 8th. We moved and made return equipment to Comcast via UPS last year. We has kept UPS receipt. Still we get messages said our records show you have unreturned Xfinity equipment. Please return it to avoid being charged. We contacted Comcast agents 2 times to make sure we made return equipment. They said our account closed and all set. Scheduled tech support Scheduled tech support,the date provided was 5 days out. Xfinity confirmed the date twice. On the day of service, no call, no show. When I called, they stated they would still send someone out and instead rescheduled for 3 days later. Called again, and they again confirmed they would provide service on the specified day, then sent an alert for another day. Final call, nothing can be done. They charge 30% more than my AT&T high-speed unlimited plan in Dallas Ga. Their customer service people are nice but unable to assist with issues. They are currently the only providers in my area. All of their customer service assistance have moved out of the country. You have to listen to a 10 minute phone tree in order to get connected and they still tried to route you back to an Internet assistant. Practically impossible to get a human on the phone. I was on hold for over an hour and a half never was able to contact a supervisor. I tried again today as soon as I got a supervisor after a 42 minute wait we were disconnected. I was told none of their customer service agents are located in the United States. I could hear loud children playing in roosters crowing in the background. We scheduled multiple appointments and for some reason Comcast canceled them and just told us to reschedule. This is the worst customer service company and I would never recommend wasting your time or money. We have been Comcast customers since 2009 and it seems their services have gone down as their prices go up. They have no consideration on the money you lose waiting for them just not to show up. We went to T-Mobile today and we were able to set up everything up in minutes without having to wait for a technician. One customer may not mean much, but you have lost this one. read more

So I woke up one day and the cable was off. Yes, with all the other things on my mind, I forgot to pay my cable bill, so of couse since I have a package deal, that also meant that the internet was off. I had no idea that this place was even here. Located in the Camp Creek Marketplace. Sits next to 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. I also had no idea that this many people still paid their bills in person, or maybe everyones cable/internet was off and none of us could log online to pay our bills. The lines were long, and I imagine that of the 8 customer service windows that were open, only four of them were being staffed at 10 in the morning. You can also turn in equipment (boxes, modems, remotes) at this location. The people that staffed the windows were all business, but I imagine that if you start your Monday morning off with dealing with people who's telecommunication services had been turned off, then you may not be all smiles and warm greetings either. Glad to know this place is so close to home, cause while I dont make it a habit of forgetting to pay bills, then its nice to not have to drive way cross town to pay a bill. read more

I signed a contract for TV and cable and my bill keeps coming in higher than I agreed to .They then took away channels and charged me more . I asked the rep to look at contract is signed and that's what I agreed to and should pay .She said there was not contract and I said I am watching TV now through your service and I knew I would not have service with you if I did not sign up. I said it is against the law to auto deduct out of my account a amount I did not agree to . I will be canceling soon because they keep switching cost on my auto draft. Wish I could give 0 stars. Comcast may be the worst company on the planet. Waterboarding would be a better alternative to their automated phone service. Was quoted $149 for service, but the final total is $279 with all of their hidden fees (box rentals, etc. which are ridiculous). Their customer survey they take is only on the person you spoke with, which is not fair. The person is doing the best they can with such horrible options. It took me 1:20 minutes on the phone to add a phone to my plan. They have never gotten my phone number right because I have moved a few times. They can't keep my e-mail address straight. They take forever on the phone to answer simple questions. They are a monopoly so I have no other options. The day a competitor figures out how to overcome their monopoly, Comcast will be out of business in a month. I absolutely hate this company. If I had a choice, I would choose any internet provider other than Comcast. EVEN IF your internet works well, etc. You can expect 2-4 calls a week from Comcast trying to sell you an upgrade, etc. From the moment I signed up, they lied to me about the plans available, and tried to pressure me into a larger package. I had an excruciating customer service experience (still ongoing because now a technician has to come to my apartment to fix their wiring) which included over 2 hours of me on the phone with unhelpful staff. Also, their chatbot that picks up the phone is something out of a sitcom, you could be there screaming that you need help connecting wifi and end up with it asking for your credit card information for cable counties away. I had Xfinity internet and got locked in for 3 years of crappy service. According to Speedtest app, the best speed I ever got was 72 mbps download. Most times it was around 36 mbps download. As soon as i had another option, i dumped Xfinity for T- Mobile. My next door neighbor had the exact same issues. He also switched to T-Mobile unbeknownst to me. We both now get consistent speeds of well over 400 mbps download!! For HALF the price. If you have ANY OTHER option over Xfinity, take it!! Please. read more

Geographically I think the Doraville service center is closer to me, but I came here a few weeks ago. The technician at my house gave me a heads-up that it would probably be quicker despite being further away because of traffic congestion and it being less crowded. You're probably wondering why I had to come down here if there was a technician at my house, but I don't want to get into that because it was a separate experience from coming here (and I don't want you to think it's being considered in my low rating). Anyway... He was right about being able to get here quickly. I was at or above the speed limit all the way until I got off I-285 at Camp Creek Parkway. Then the next 1.5 miles was some of the worst traffic congestion I've ever experienced (and that's saying something for Atlanta). It's relatively easy to find. Go to the third entrance for Camp Creek Marketplace on the right. It's next to Five Guys, so look for that if you're having trouble finding signs for Comcast. The lobby was completely full and it took 30 minutes to get through the line. Once I got to the window it was pretty painless, but if the employees had been a little more diligent it would have taken less time. All was fine and it seemed like all of my equipment was working fine. Then it was determined that I had received a defective modem. Apparently she pulled it out of the return stack instead of getting a new one or one that had been tested. Guess who had to welcome yet another technician into his home? Yep. Me.
