The Wi-Fi goes on and off, mid game my Wi-Fi would get out and wouldn't get back on for hours on end and this is the reason why I'm hardstuck bronze 2. It would be so easy to get to diamond if my Wi-Fi would stop acting up but noooo every time I get on it acts up. I can barely do anything. This was the reason I was failing in all of my classes during covid because I couldn't join any meets. Ever since I have been homeschooled I have been taking online classes, its still getting messed up. This was also same for my father who couldn't do his crypto work because of xfinity. Comcast or Xfinity Houston is the absolute worst cable company and the customer service is terrible. After setting up a bundle for my grandmother last week, they completely lost the order and attempted to up sell me on the same exact plan I signed up for a week ago. This after we already received a router in the mail with ridiculous instructions on how to set it up. Then the customer service took over an hour to build out another plan, check on some bs about communicating with the cable box and modem, and all I really wanted was to get a tech out to the house to help my 92 year old grandmother and her caregivers set up the modem for internet. Customer service is horrible. Had to have the cable replaced 3 months ago due to poor reception. They routed it on top of my fence. One of their contractors came to bury it Monday and had the wrong equipment. So we are still waiting and no answers on when it will get buried. Also, once you establish your email accounts do not make any changes. You cannot re-instate old email account names. So if you make a mistake you get to change your email address on all your other systems rather than re-instating an email address. Nothing is ever simple or for the customer. This company is the absolute worst to contact. When you do manage to contact someone the chances of getting your issue resolved is very close to zero. I recently added the sports package. I was sent by email a list of the included channels. ACCN was not activated and my many attempts to get it taken care of resulted in being told I had to get the "Ultimate" package to get that channel. Then why did the email I received have it listed? Comcast will steal your money and never apply it back to your account. Agents repeatedly lied to me since my service was supposed to be installed on June 3rd. I was harassed by multiple employees, including a supervisor named Sooki (employee ID 2701361), while attempting to get my internet and TV installed. Sooki promised that Comcast would never charge me for the services that were not provided from June 3rd until June 16th. When I received the bill, Comcast charged me notwithstanding these promises. A chat agent promised me that this would be resolved on my second invoice. It was not. I have now been promised multiple times that I would receive my $180 refund and additional credit on my bill by multiple agents, including employee ID 35671, at Chat transcript 33168615417499. This refund continues to not be applied to my account notwithstanding multiple promises and refund ID numbers. read more

I have been using xfinity and Outlook for years. NOW intermittently Outlook is not able to sign on to the server. I have contacted xfinity many times. I don't understand, if it my settings, why does it work sometimes and not others. Sometimes the imap server, sometimes smtp. Sometimes I can receive but not send but if I cannot get it to sign in to the imap server it won't do anything. Do I need to have another internet provider to continue to use Outlook????? read more

Xfinity mobile gives you the biggest run around and the worst customer service. I signed up for the Global Pass BEFORE I left out of country. It was 2 days AFTER arriving in South Africa and $200+ in roaming charges before they switched it over. I made over 7 calls in 3 days to rectify the situation. Went to the Xfinity store when I returned because the Xfinity Mobile Care reps are idiots, spoke to Courtney, who stated that she was sending the ticket to her supervisor. Fast forward 1 week, I get a bill for over $400. I go back to the xfinity store, only to be told that the concern HAS NOT BEEN read!!! i know for a fact that I'm stuck with them and they are liars they told me that they could pay me because I had no internet for a whole day and a half and they said they could reimburse the money for not being able to work that did not happen they only wanted to give me a month of internet with out a payment , and plus that I was on hold for 30 minutes waiting to speak to a supervisor because the tech came and left I understand it was raining but just tell y'all's client that techs are leaving and not make them wait inside their house for 30 minutes and for them laying saying that they knocked on the door and no one answered and I was next to door in the leaving room. If anyone is persuaded from x-finity to switch to their x-finity mobile then please be aware there is a serious network issues . Network doesn't work at all unless you are luckily connected to wifi . I had their internet which wasn;t a problem and they offered me xfinity mobile and trusted them now I have no choice to than to cancel because I mostly work from my phone while traveling and there no network connection . We have lived in Houston for several years. Comcast is the only service provider in our area for WIFI & TV. We previously lived in Chicago. We've had Comcast for 25 years. Houston service is TERRIBLE. Not only do we have a technician at least monthly, every night at about 6pm the TV in every room but the main starts buffering & becomes unusable. I have just spent 1 hour & 45 minutes on the phone trying to cancel AMC+. It's not possible online. I tried the online chat option & gave up after about 20 minutes of back & forth. The operator on the phone sent me 6 email/texts for approval of the deletion. Before I could get to that screen I was instructed to sign up for auto pay which I did not want. After several phone transfers I finally got a recording detailing the approval of the deletion & a confirmation. Almost 2 hours. For whatever reason the agent is required to chat with the customer about weather & travel. I was given the overview of how beautiful Jamaica is and what clear water & beaches they have. I could hear the same speech given to other customers in the phone bank in the background. Comcast... Just provide the service. It's clear you have been paid to turn your agents into advertisers for Jamaica but do really think your customers want this???? I can't wait to dump COMCAST but I will show up at an office in person so I don't have to go thru cyber hell. read more

We signed up to Xfinity 2 weeks ago and in that time our internet has hardly worked at all, it was intermittent at best and we were completely unable to connect in the evenings. I had countless calls repeating the same information about the problem. It seems Comcast doesn't train their employees to record notes. If, I could give a big fat 0 I would. Xfinity Customer Service has gone to hell in a stray jacket. I went to the store to do a simple equipment change, to my number being cancelled, getting a new line of service with a contract, with a device I did not choose. Truly unethical sales are being practice at the store in Houston on Dairy Ashford. So, customers beware when dealing with the sales rep. But, this doesn't even scratch the surface of the hell xfinity has put me through, after almost 8hrs in the store on yesterday I left worst off then I came. I still had a partially damaged phone, that could not receive calls at all and that was banged up to the point of the face plate can be lifted up, yes and this absolutely happened while my phone was in Rego care . I made several calls to Xfinity on today (06/19/21) to speak with a manager regarding my experience on yesterday, my journey started at 9am and ended approximately 4ish when a supervisor, Lizal, decides to shut me up and turn my phone off. Yes!!!! She cancelled my service and now I am without service again. prior to I had been blind transferred 4 times. I am guilty of simply walking into a store with 2 phones looking to change the partially working phone to a fully functioning phone and get the service from hell from Rego and his peers who are just as guilty for not stepping up. I guess there will be a part 2 to this story as I will have to deal with them to cancel other services I have. I'm not certain how Xfinity can come back from this as this is a painful disappointed which not only hurt me, but also left me feeling very violated. I will tell anyone who will listen how I was treated as I do not wish no one to be treated the way I was. I tried to stay brief as possible making certain to give details about the most outrageous acts. I have seen Xfinity go from Okay, to alright, to totally unacceptable acts that happened to me. You CANNOT turn a blind eye or deaf hear to unethical behavior as it will eat away at your business like cancer. I think Xfinity has made many poor choices with the members they have selected to be on their team, these people are not vested in Xfinity, their success, nor their customers, they just want a paycheck. The Service is Terrible. At this point, I would not recommend Comcast/Xfinity to anyone. I have called 7 times regarding the same issues and I end up getting talked into a more expensive package. The 5 & 6 time I called, I asked for a supervisor and 1 time I was on hold and hung up after 45 minutes, the other time the supervisor was on another call and will call back. I called the complaint department and the person I spoke with is sending out a Tech. No one should have to go through the BS!. The automated system is just as bad. Xfinity/Comcast sucks. I have an alarm system problem that I could easily fix but Comcast refuses to send me the part. The part is a door sensor so that I can get my system working again. Xfinity says only a technician could install that part and technicians will not be available until July at the earliest, so even though they say they care I'm not sure they do. They want my house to go completely unprotected until sometime in July or later. This is not a technical part to install. It is a magnetic contact sensor. I am thoroughly disgusted with Comcast / Xfinity and would never recommend them to anybody. They absolutely could care less about customers, or their security. read more
