This is my first time taking any traffic school class and I looked at some other online courses and they were not that easy and it was driving me crazy. If you buy the Groupon, be aware that they will charge $10-$15 extra to send the certificate to the DMV. Of course, this is in the fine print at the verrrry bottom of the Groupon. I needed a traffic school that would give me a hard copy OF "completion certificate". After checking many schools online I found that they would only give a "receipt" for completion, for free. I came accross this school which claims that for an additional fee they will give a hard copy of "certificate of Comletion". I called them and verified. So I took their course, which conterary to their ad, IS NOT A VIDEO COURSE!. You still have to read through the entire text like all other schools. I paid the extra charge for the certificate, but they sent me a "RECEIPT". When I called them back, the girl on the phone said that this is all I will get, and I can go to other schools if I am not happy. Basically, this school competes with others, not by a better service, but with lies and false advertisement and misrepresantations. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. read more

They submitted a day late and now have to take additional steps to dismiss my now delinquent completion. they have quizzes at the end of each segment which is made up of 5 parts. This is my experience with Comedy traffic school, I don't know if this has happened to any of their other customers. I hope to god that it hasn't, and I wouldn't wish this on any fellow human being. But before that, the good: The questions are easy, there's no time requirement that forces you to stay on the page, you can go at your own pace and rip through it pretty fast. Now the Bad: The pricing is not as advertised. You are forced to pay more than the advertised price. The website is deceptive and makes you think your first initial payment did not go through and you end up submitting multiple times. I ended up being charged for 4 tests. I tried to call customer service. The ONE lady handling customer service told me to stop calling and said she would handle it. I was thinking "It's my money, I need more than a verbal affirmation that she would 'do it later'. She simply hung up on me when I told her "i need you to at least send me an email telling me you would clear 3/4 payments". The phone line was working fine, because I called with another number and it picked up immediately, I told her who I was and she hung up. I decided to just get through the final exam so I could get this point off my dmv. I decided paying 120 dollars for this course was still better than my insurance rates going up so I bit the bullet and just took the final exam. The website was extremely buggy, and after I spent my time taking the final exam, I clicked submit and the next page that loaded almost made me lose my temper (I almost never do): It was the loading page for the test. Of course I called in to ask, and the same lady (I think) told me to hold. I was on hold for 1 hour before i just hung up. I sent them an email and I all I got in return was that an informally written email that I had passed the test. And they were sending it tot he DMV. I paid extra for the package that would give me the complete confirmation, and I didn't get it. This is a living, snarling, fire-breathing nightmare. TL;DR I'm sitting here with my credit card billed 4 times for 1 class, and absolutely no idea if the DMV will clear me. read more

I used this school based on the reviews on her and it was a nice and easy course. It took me about an hour to complete. Only thing I didn't like was that it automatically signs you up for the video course without you choosing it, so while checking out I had to call to have that charge removed, they answered the call right away without having to go through any automated crap and she was very nice and removed the charges right away. My traffic school certificate was due in 3 days so I signed up for comedy traffic school. It was simple to sign up. You complete the course before you pay. I skimmed through the sections (sections had 4-5 parts). After each section took an easy 5 question quiz. After the last section you take a final...I believe its 25 questions snd you have to get 70% to pass. 80% of the questions are common sense... Good choice for an online traffic school. read more

I was very pleased with this company. I got a Groupon for $7. Thanks to all the reviews, I knew that there would be additional charges at the end, but they were not too bad. Overall, it was less than I expected to pay. The only challenge I faced was that it charged me for the audio/video upgrade, which I did not want or intend to purchase. However, I sent them an email and they reversed the fee immediately. I also had an unrelated question about my ticket number, and they answered it quickly. The course itself was fairly simple to complete. I was able to move through the text quickly and had no trouble with the assessments. First off, it does not cost $13.95. Unless you somehow go out of your way to avoid the added fees, expect to pay $5 for them to send your certificate and another $12 for the online ID verification. When they say you don't pay until you pass, it isn't true. You pay and are immediately charged right before you take the final exam. In fact, I paid and was then taken to the ID verification before the final exam. It said that there was not enough information to even administer the ID verification, and to call them. Despite saying the help line is open 24/7, I constantly received the automated message. So I had paid all my fees, credit card was charged, and I had no way of taking the final exam. With that being said, it was easy. I wouldn't do the video series because you are forced to watch them for a period of time. With the reading, you can click to the next section as fast as you want. This program overall wasn't bad, but I have to believe that there are better options out there. read more

This is a great course. The added costs are worth it for peace of mind. I recommend taking notes while going through the course. It takes more time but is useful in the end. I used my notes and was able to give correct answers to a few questions I would have gotten wrong had I not done so. As a result of careful study of the course material I scored 24 out of 25 for 96%. I also aced all the quizzes which gave me confidence when the final exam came along. The fact that I could take the final over again for FREE gave me added confidence and I was able to relax. I consider this course money well spent. In fact today while I was driving I was able to apply several of the course instructions. Actually I learned a lot, which is good, right? This was quick, smart and easy! And the thing is if you don't understand something, they have a phone number right there... And the nicest people will help you out if you call during regular work hours. If not, they actually call you back ;) ( I had some trouble figuring out how to get my discount coupon... Make sure you remember the code... And they are very helpful with that ) I actually think it offers important information too, even if you don't think you need it. The course was easy to complete and the test was not hard to pass! They sent the completion information to DMV right away. Fairly painless.

The course took me 6 hours to complete. It is a 5 part series. Each series takes about an hour. I did the video upgrade, which basically reads to you exactly what is on the page to read. What helped me is that I copied each webpage into a word document, which helped me to refer back to when taking the quiz or you can google the answer. If you upgrade to the video and then all the certificate speedy delivery and tracker, your bill is about $38.00. Eric Estrada rocks! read more

It's really easy, but then again I've had to pay for these stupid courses in the past so I partially remembered the right answers. Another way in which california wanes. VERY false advertising. I enjoyed the videos in section 5 because their short, informative, and the guy was fun. I followed along with the video and notes. When I studied the notes, it took hours. The program has five sections with five parts. There's so much information that it became overwhelming and I ended up skipping parts. I had to break the program into two days because it's long. For example, one video was about 30 + minutes, while other videos were from 10 minutes to 20+ minutes. It just took a long time to do traffic school. I also wanted to see more visuals about the traffic lines on the streets. Overall, the material is helpful, but I wish it was more specific to the everyday driver. For instance, I don't live in snow, nor does it EVER know in Los Angeles. My tires are the ones where I don't need chains anyways. It was just information that I wouldn't need. I had to also learn the information for stick, which I have an automatic. That material isn't important to me per say. I understand why it's in the program, but all the material was so much information. I wouldn't do this program at the last minute or you'll be stressed. The only comedy is in their video breaks. There are some quotes on each section to read. Just VERY VERY long. My sister did another traffic school and was done in an hour. Why did it have to take me 1 1/2 endless days of my life? The plus side, I was able to do traffic school at home. Each exam, you have to pass with 100%, but don't worry because if you get one wrong, you can retake the test. I did end up passing the final exam with 100%. During checkout, I was surprised that I had to pay extra money to have them notify the court and DMV. Each costs $9.00 each. I got the e-mail about completing traffic school. I would have liked to see the exact purchases in the e-mail, which they don't provide. I ended up paying $46.89 with a $5.00 off. read more

Awful! Website is slow and crashed several times. I had to reload on every page; it was terrible. This site is unreliable. It took double the time to complete the tests because of the server problems. I still don't know if my payment went through or if I was charged twice because the page never loaded and I had resubmit. Now I have to wait for my bank to verify whether I was charged twice, or if at all, as it is not showing one way or the other and I have to wait to discuss with/a Comedy rep. during business hours. Equally horrible is the fact that they advertise all these discounts, when in fact, it's a bundle on top of the course price. I had to call a rep to get clarification on the pricing and these so-called discounts and then she told me of the coupon code. They advertise as low as $9.95, but I'm still not seeing how the hell you get that price. To be fair, the rep said it depended on the court, but from what I've checked the price should be relatively the same. When you check out, they try to get you to buy all these add-ons such as hard copy, expedited service, etc., which defaults to YES. So you have to read each one carefully and click on no. Even after applying the coupon code, I paid 19.95 for the course. I've taken other courses a long time ago (not long after the AOL dial-up days) that were much faster than this and that's just sad b/c now we have LTE and super hyper 5G whatever wifi, and this site was still slower than dial-up. My old school sites were straight forward, user friendly, no online/server problems, and didn't try to bait you buy all these unnecessary add-ons. At the end, I was close to just saying screw it I'd rather pay the increased insurance and get the point on my record because this site and its process was torture. read more

The class is boring and I didn't really find it to be comedic but all 5 quizzes and final exam were really easy. The website has a few major glitches. For example, it does not let you see your final exam score after you take it. I called and even though they have a very friendly staff they said they "did not have access" to give me my score either. A lot of facts that are said on the video is different than what is written in the text. The website says that you are allowed to review each section during the exam but that is not true! And even when I tried to review the sections BEFORE the exam it made me start the whole thing over again. Thankfully, I called again and they were able to fix that on their end so I didn't have to take it again. Hopefully, by the time you take the course they will have these glitches fixed. read more

Comedy for less traffic school: I spent 8 hours In a freezing classroom listening to the instructor, Barbara, read from notecards. though she seemed to be a really nice person, she did not have much available in terms of visual aids, or video , just a couple of easel charts that she had made. Room was extremely uncomfortable due to temperature (cold), sitting on folding chairs and no hot water. Comedy was pretty much non-existent, except from the participants in the class. That said, the test was easy to pass. One heck of a long day...... For $40.00 it should have been way more entertaining and comfortable. read more

I was expecting the videos to be presented by some comedians with half an ounce of charisma and some witticisms sprinkled through out the presentation, Imagine my surprise then, when about half the class was presented by a poorly animated computer generated woman with a very robotic voice. I counted one (pretty poor) attempt at humor throughout the incredibly long video presentation. But worst of all the exam at the end had no indication of which multiple choice answer was selected, making it almost impossible to ensure that the intended answer was the one being submitted. I wish I would have saved the $10 and went with a website that may have had less charismatic hosts but at least had a final exam that functioned read more
