This traffic school in the read only version is pretty fast and easy. BUT Their website doesn't have straightforward ways to pay and finish the process. They have a glitch when you have a Groupon and if you don't declare Groupon at the beginning, you can't apply the code at the end. If you need to add things on beyond what the Groupon includes, the website doesn't accept the checkout/payment option..... so..... Contacting them is impossible! You can write them a message on their website contact link, but they will send you a reply one or two days later telling you to call them. Calling them, you only get a voice recording and have leave a message. So far, they have not called me back in about 24 hours since I left a message yesterday. Now today, it went to voicemail again. I can't send proof of completion to DMV until these people finally acknowledge me directly so I can pay them extra money beyond what the Groupon covered read more

Found the school @ 12:45 am and decided to start the course work for a few mins since it was free to try. Its 1:15 am now and not only am I done with my traffic school I am writing a yelp review about it. I hope I did everything, this seems to good to be true. All the quiz work is Common sense and the final exam is just as easy and common sense questions as the quiz. Make sure to look up the $5 off coupon to make it cheaper, $19.95 - $5 coupon and 30 minutes of quiz work = big savings on your insurance. I do everything last minute... it's not a good thing. In fact, I usually learn my lesson by getting slapped with a fatty penalty late fee or waive my rights away because I let the time run out. Well, Commedy Traffic School (CTS) has saved my butt from being really late from turning in my traffic school completion certificate. Here's my story, I had 3 days to submit my traffic school certificate and I discovered this on a Friday. CTS has a straight forward website and answered all my questions. My speeding ticket was for LA county so they fax it instantly after you've completed the course. Details about the course: - The course has about 5 different sections where you have to remain on the page for a particular amount of time. You can't go forward until you spend that time on that page. During that time you can read everything, or choose to "upgrade" where you have video instructions and lessons. I chose the upgrade because I had no time to spare so I skimmed everything and then let the instructors guide me. After each section, you take a short quiz and if you get any wrong, they make you retake the short quiz. Very straight forward questions. At the very end of the course, you take a longer 60 question quiz, I think. You only have to get an 80% (B- equivalent) and you pass! Prices: - I dunno about everyone else but I'd rather pay whatever fee instead of having that point on my insurance. It was about $13 for the course, $14 for the upgrade. So I paid less than 30 dollars, I believe. Speed: - Traffic school is normally 8 hours if you go to a location and watch their videos. I think I finished mine in a span of 3 days, maybe 2 hours each day or less. I think it took me about 4 hours. It wasn't even that long b/c after I skimmed everything, I'd let the page timer just go down. But I was only paying attention to 25% of it, so in reality, it took me only like 1 hour. hahaha Customer Service: - I called customer service and asked them if I can get a guarantee that they faxed my certificate to LA Superior Court. They called me back and confirmed they sent it instantly, and gave me suggestions on following up myself so that I know that the court received my certificate. They were pretty friendly and on top of things. Overall: I highly recommend this. Of course you shouldn't be like me and wait until 72 hours before your certificate was due, BUT IT CAN BE DONE. DON'T PANIC! Just stay focused in spurts during a 4 hour session and you got this! :D read more

I signed up for this online traffic school, and was not impressed. Not only was the material not even slightly funny, but it was also very redundant. In addition, they falsely advertise that their 1-800 help line is available 7 days per week, but when I carved out my Saturday to complete the rest of the online course, I had a problem entering my security question answers, so it would not let me advance to the next quiz. I called the 800# and I emailed them and did not even get a reponse as of 2pm the following Monday. I call that false advertising. Their outgoing phone messages say they only answer M-F biz hours. I think they need to fix their website bug around entering security question answers, change the website to reflect the accurate helpline hours, make the course less redundant overall, add some real comedy, and then maybe their course would be much improved. I would not reccomend this one to anyone...I'm sure there are better ones out there. read more

Easy, straightforward and fun! At the beginning of the enrollment, the website will ask you to enter the county where the court is located, your personal info and your ticket docket#. Once you are finished, the Comedy Traffic school provides you the option of same day electronic delivery to the court. The course is in consist of total 5 Chapters; at the end of each chapter, there will be a paragraph of "case study" followed by a 5 questions quiz which are based on common sense. At the top of each chapter, there is comic with traffic scenario to make it more interesting. There are 25 questions in the final exam. The passing score is 70% or higher, which means as long as you got 18 out of 25 questions correctly, you will pass!! You are not asked to pay until you are done and passed the final. You may take a break at any time and check out their "comedy break zone" You may log back into the website to resume the course. Had I known it'd be this easy, I would've taken care of it a long time ago instead of waiting till the last minute! :) read more

Is this school what the DMV was thinking when it asked me to take traffic school? Definitely not. I'm not sure how long it took me, but it was basically as long as it took to click through all of the sections, take the quiz, and Google a couple of the final exam questions (Seriously, just copy the question and put it into Google. They're directly from California driver's practice exams). Is it convenient? Most definitely. I had a few minutes in between two appointments and was able to both pay my ticket and finish traffic school. Sweet. I don't know if it's funny, but frankly, I don't really care either. Don't get the video upgrade (I did, waste of $9). I would look into whether you need to pay for the electronic filing, because I'm pretty sure California requires that they submit them that way anyway. I do agree with other reviewers that the pricing is a bit deceptive and add-ons quickly make something that seems cheap not so cheap anymore. read more

So this website says it'll make traffic school funny... I was bored out of my mind! There was nothing funny about this. They had very few "jokes" and if you watch even one second of the videos you get charged $9.99. There should be a simple accept or decline button instead of tricking people to watch them. They try and get you to add all these different packages when legally they have to report the info to the court anyway. Don't fall for it! I joined this website because I thought it would be funny and take less time. Only take this when you have several hours to spend if watching the videos. Got a ticket in Orange County and was required to take traffic school. I found this one on yelp and glad i took the course. I skimmed through the reading so it took me about 1 1/2 hrs to finish. however, you can easily skip the reading and use common sense or google the tricky ones to get through it faster. It has 5 sections that ask 5 questions..and a final test that is 25 question. My boyfriend did traffic school in person a couple years ago and the class was like 8 hours , he felt so stupid when i told him it took me a lil over an hour!! I used a coupon to get 10$ off and i skipped the audio and videos , but i did pay 9$ xtra to get it sent fast to the court house. It took the court 2 days to process and approve my course. When it comes to traffic schools... this is the one!!!!! Lets face it... just the thought of doing the traffic school is awful but they make the sections not boring. The spokes people actually make you stay awake and attentive. They have it all. They have a video for those of us that are visual learners and underneath they have it written out for you to follow along. This class is not as long as the rest of them...or that's how it seemed. Once you are done, you can even get it sent directly to the court and avoid having to forget and then be screwed. Each section has a small quiz and a big test at the end of the five sections. They were easy. The price is not bad either. I paid a total of $34. I don' t think that's bad at all. The only down side was that i wish I would have been able to print out a hard copy instead of having to wait for them to send it to me but when I called, they were very friendly and helpful. The online course was great! I upgraded to the video course and it was worth it! I like how the comedians explained everything and they have a pretty funny host. WELL DONE! I also like how you can save and continue for later. I did a course a day and was done in less then a week! On the other hand they advertise $14 for the Video Upgrade but at the end I was charged $15. Only a dollar but they should fix that! Also they sent me Free Tickets to "The Comedy Store", Very cool! The only thing I didn't like is that the ticket are only good Monday-Wednesday. Tuesday they are closed for private events and Mondays are open mic night so really your stuck on a Wednesday night ONLY. This review is not about the school's online experience, etc.. It is a warning NOT to buy the Certificate of Completion or the other unnecessary extras offered at the end just before giving your credit card number. I bought the Certificate only to find I had a receipt waiting in my Email box, and when the Certificate arrived...wait for it...it was no different that the receipt except for a sentence and a signature. If you need to proove you completed the class (which you won't--they don't wish to loose accredidation by not reporting their students completions in a timely manner), the receipt is just fine, save your $10. I liked the company up until that point because it was WRONG to charge $10 for a useless document that reads at the very top, "DO NOT BRING THIS TO YOUR COURT. THIS IS FOR YOUR RECORDS ONLY".
