I the following day had another company come out and "fix" your work and they did a great job for so much less than your job which didn't cut the grass you mushed it over. He also commented on the trim job your company did which was over a foot to my pavers. I've posted that picture to show the "rush" job this company did. The tech arrived and I showed him the outside unit and he asked about the inside unit which I explained was accessed through the garage and into the attic. He then appeared to go to his truck to pickup a tool. Without saying anything and while I'm still standing at the outside unit he walks into the garage and goes into the attic. I hear a noise and head in to find him already in the attic. The noise was a bottle falling to the ground as I had cracked the door of the attic using the bottle to hold the door open. I used a flashlight so he could look at the inside unit in the attic and he is very rough. He opens the side of the unit and then it is a tight fit putting it back together. I have opened it myself in the past and try to explain how to flex the door but he doesn't listen and just smashes it closed. Once outside he diagnoses the issue being a leak and run capacitor. I discuss with him about the issue and how to fix but only solution is to replace the AC system as it is 12 years old. He called his manager to confirm (I believe this to be Jason). I explain that I can't afford to make that kind of decision without a second option. He buttons the outside system back up and loses a screw. This leaves one panel on the outside system incorrectly attached. He then proceeds to his truck and I state I'll just go with the $95 today and get a second option. At this he seems to get angry and starts saying it was more than $95 as he did a leak test in attic unit (nothing had ever been stated it would be more than $95 diagnostics fee). I said don't raise your voice to me and at this he snaps and says I'm raising my voice, which I wasn't. At this I said he needs to leave and I'll call the office to make my payment. I called the office and they are professional and said they will talk with the tech. I make my payment and decided to go ahead and ask them for a quote to replace my AC system thinking maybe the tech is having a bad day and this isn't how Jason AC is in general. I then receive the below email from Jason as a response to me asking for a quote for a new system. "With all due respect sir, I don't want your business so you can loose my number! Have a nice day" From my experience and treatment, Jason AC and Heat is clearly not a professional company and I do NOT recommend them. The tech also tried to increase the price of diagnostics which I consider dishonest. I also noted that the one price they gave me for parts (the run capacitor) it was about 400% above retail price. I called another AC company and got professional service and options to fix my unit and not just replace it.

He goes above and beyond the call of duty and clearly explains to insurance what is wrong with the furnace and starts the work trusting that it will all work out financially because of his concern for your family's welfare. I had 7 different reps to my house to work on my AC and spent upwards of a couple thousand dollars with no resolution. The techs from Heating and air were able to fix the issue. It's great to have a properly functioning AC unit again! The techs were polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I have a Lennox, which not every tech is qualified to work on. US Air has techs specifically trained to work on Lennox systems. The customer service was excellent as well. They answer their phones every time I called and were always available to answer any questions I had. NOTE: I had every major AC company in the area work on my unit. This company is a complete fraud. They upsell options such as Zoning which was sold to us by "…read moreMarco Ferreira" for $1300 and it never worked. So this Zoning option upsold by the so called Comfort specialist Marco was a complete money grab and it was like throwing down money down the drain and into the coffers of John Adams. The extra work and the delay in installation was because of change in furnace a decision made by Adams based on non availability of the agreed upon unit at the time of install and the lack of accurate measurements by their comfort specialist - Marco-- all of which was their fault. They could have pre ordered the agreed upon unit or measured the attic space correctly. Somehow Adams takes pride in extra work they did which was a direct result of their own incompetence and lack of due diligence before the installation. I was never happy with the delay and was livid during installation and had expressed my frustration to Marco and installation team and even spoke with the service manager and expressed my displeasure the day of the installation as we had to sleep in the home without a functioning AC . So Adams and their installation team could not fit the unit in the attic space since they didn't know how much space was required for the unit and who was responsible for measuring the Attic space prior to install - one MARCO FERREIRA !! This is like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand was doing.. If Marco had measured the Attic space correctly than the delay would have not happened and also there was no need to reconfigure the attic space and extra work Adams seems to take a misplaced sense of pride.. So you don't do the due diligence and prep work and that causes the delay and result in doing the extra work and customer not having a functioning AC overnight and somehow the business takes pride in this botched installation.. Bravo !! So Marco or team who is responding to the review conveniently leaves out the detail about not measuring correctly the attic space and prep work that could have prevented the extra work and delay all of which was their own fault and doing... They also overcharge way more than average price for their service contracts and find certain parts such as Air Switches etc that needs to be replaced and overcharge for the installation. I will not recommend this business to anyone in Charlotte as there are plenty of honest HVAC providers out there.
