He offered to do a service on the old furnace or give me a quote for a completely new and upgraded one. I went with the new one. He installed a Bryant heater that was more appropriate for our sized house than the one we had been using ("Should save you about 25% in heating costs.") Additionally, he fabricated an access panel in the unit to enable us to change out the filters much more easily. All included in his very fair price. Because I had to work the day of the appointment, I had to make outside arrangements to make sure someone was at my house ready to welcome them when they arrived. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP.
