I spoke to Trish who assessed my needs over the phone and gave me recommendations as to my service. I pointed out that I had an instant hot water heater and gave me a quote over the phone as well as a general inspection fee for other issues I have. Obtaining an appointment was spot on as they were available the next day and I arrived within the two window that was promised. The technician, Danny, inspected my water softener, OM and disposal and gave me recommendations on maintain these items and doing additional research for obtaining parts for my OM system. I appreciate his honesty and recommendations. The water heater unit was in good condition, and his recommendations gave me a better ideal of future service. Just had these gentlemen here today to replace pipes having to do with a natural gas manifold. Dave, the owner, had come out first to do an estimate. Took his time, dug down to check pipes in order to provide an accurate estimate. Trish from the office was very helpful in getting the job scheduled. Elias and his assistant came out, took a great deal of care in their work. Dave came out to make sure all was well and that PG&E would be out here after they finished. Things went very well, the PG&E guy was happy with the work. Before Elias and his assistant departed Dave showed up to take one last look, he was also happy with the work. If all these gentlemen are happy, as the customer I am happy. Great combination of work ethic and attention to detail. Will be keeping them in mind for future work. Added...when the PG&E guy lit pilot lights found a bad gas flexline on one hot water heater. Yikes! A quick call to Precision, and Trish helped make things happen. Beware, Beware, Beware Precision plumbing in Monterey, technician: Danny To repair our faulty water heater it took him two visits each lasting about 15 minutes. For these two 15 minuted visits which included installation of free part under warranty which about 20% of people in Sea Haven have a problem with (according to the girl in the office) he charged us $375. Why didn't he have to come back? To order the part over the phone he charged us $75 for this telephone call. Outrageous!!! The owner have no idea what happened ( see his comment) We never lost hot water. Maybe that's why we get ripoff? Maybe Danny need supervision? read more

Dave came to our home due to our tankless water heater dripping water through the ceiling and onto our bedroom downstairs. He got the water stopped and determined that our tankless system needed to be replaced. He took his time explaining all the details and answered all our questions. Had another plumber come out to help troubleshoot our water heater. I should have realized I made a mistake when the first plumber said came to inspect, charged me 500 bucks and then told me that if I wanted a real inspection I should call an HVAC specialist????? Called precision and they sent Mark who simplified the issue and resolved our issues within about 30 minutes. He did the ol knock this, scratch that and rub over here and he sweet talked out water heater into working again. He gave us lots of tips and called me an idiot for not servicing my heater (he really didn't but he simplified the issue so much that I understood the problem and kicked myself).
