You might be the best technician that ever existed but I won't have the chance to find out. Your system for making appointments is broken. I call on a Monday and am told to call back on Wednesday to make an appointment for Thursday. Appointment setting doesn't have to be this complicated. Again, this review is not for your actual abilities. You might be better than everyone else, but business is more than just technical ability. Have a calendar. Write down names and phone numbers for specific times. If you're concerned about efficiency of the route give time blocks. read more

When my 20+ year old Carrier AC began to malfunction during a brutal heat wave, I was desperate. Jack saved the day. I called him in the afternoon and he came out early the next morning. When our a/c went out and both of the other A/C companies we used in the past were closed, I came to Yelp to find someone. Based on the other reviews here, I called and Jack promptly answered the phone. Even though he was heading home from another job, he agreed to come by to see if there was anything he could do. Not only did spend an hour repairing the problem, but he pointed out a number of ways that our system was inefficient in ways the other companies neglected. He took my husband up into our attic and systematically reviewed they myriad problems (from the way the unit was illegally and dangerously hung in the attic to the fact that the boxes had never been insulated, to how loud the compressor was (it is from the 1990s). He recommended some easy and cost effective fixes and came back out two days later to complete them. He came in right at his estimated costs and didn't even charge us for the hour he spent during his prior visit. He worked for 2 hours in our 125 degree attic and spent 4 hours remedying our various issues. He is quick, extremely knowledgeable (having done this type of work for over 30 yrs) and knows how things SHOULD be done and SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE in the first place. It was 113 degrees the day my A/C and two other units in my building abruptly stopped making cold air. In the middle of a record-breaking heat wave, I knew my chances of getting anyone to answer were slim to heat-stroke. Nevertheless, my building manager and I started calling every place we could to find a repair person. I contacted 21 of the top 30-40 places on Yelp that were open on weekends. Most didn't answer. I left a few messages. Twice, people answered and started *laughing* when I asked if anyone could come out today. The soonest was five days. One said six weeks. Today was horrible, another terribly hot day and our AC was blowing this awful hot air making the house hotter and hotter . We checked Yelp to find someone who was open on Sunday. I called the main number, a real person answered and said he would be there in 2-3 hours! He called back in a little over an hour and said he was coming. He was very busy too, but could come sooner and did-- right on time. With great skill, he assessed my system and located the problem and fixed it so quickly I was deeply grateful. It is over 111 degree over the weekend .... shockingly burned and my AC went dead right before the heat wave, LORD, my fan is not running so the cold air is not releasing , first i try to do the DIY trouble shoot , verified the Fuse, Capacitor, they both were well. with no other remedy, happened my friend's AC is dead and they found JACK on Yelp, Jack took care his problem and i called him in line waiting, Jack must be horribly busy i think the whole town is looking for HVAC Tec to fix their AC- probably 1/3 town of AC is burned out due to this shocking heat wave. So Jack came at around 6pm, found the problem he thought was, and just the second tried to test the AC, guess what, power outage from SCE ! I almost want to cry but he has to leave, i was steaming inside my room with the whole house temp was at 100, same as the outside until 8pm ish, power went back, yeah, i figure Jack will not come back but i still want to give a shut, he picked up the phone right away and he says he will be on his way although he just stepped into his home, God knows i was very appreciated for he would come over , he showed up tired and exhausted but he was calm and patience!! although after 1 hour of test and work, the problem was finally discovered but can not be fixed right away- the control board was burned, with no choice- i have to wait for the next day for him to find the match board. So Jack came today at around noon and magic touch did the wonder- the AC Fan is running like a horse my cool air flows to the entire house, hooray , i am prepared for the coming weekend heat wave again, thanks to JACK , he is what you need for your HVAC @@@@@ Anytime and Most of the Time !!!! read more
