After some EXTREMELY aggravating experiences over the years dealing with inept furnace service techs, I finally resorted to Yelp to find someone new. Called Comfort Zone and spoke with Elie, and set a tentative date and time to come out and service a rather old natural gas upflow furnace. Elie contacted me late in the day prior to the visit to confirm, and arrived early (these days, I give points to anyone who actually shows up when they say they'll arrive!). Our primary furnace hasn't had a proper cleaning and lubrication of the blower motor assembly in years, which I explained to Elie ahead of time. He explained that removal and cleaning of the blower motor assembly would be above and beyond their standard rate of $125.00 for general annual cleaning and checkup, which was to be expected. Elie took the time to explain the issues related to older furnaces, but at no time pushed to sell me a new one (despite the fact that we need it!) He did a thoroughly professional job, cleaning the gas burner assembly, main compartment, and cleaned up afterwards. Total cost was $225.00. He will be my first call in the future. read more

Wow! I am so impressed with Comfort Zone and the customer service I just experienced with Eli. He was professional, friendly and extremely helpful. I do not own my unit and my air was not working. I own a 3rd floor condo unit which I rent out and needless to say, when the 2nd floor unit owner calls at 10:30 p.m. to say he has water coming into his unit and needless to say, its a miserable feeling. I called Eli first thing the following morning as it looked as if it was from a faulty pump from the AC unit and he came out immediately to fix it. Speaking with Eli on the phone at first, he was incredibly accommodating and was truly a pleasure to work with. It took Eli about an hour to repair the issue and after he cleaned up and put his equipment away, we settled the bill. About 25 minutes after he had finished the repair, and prior to his leaving, he checked the new pump to make sure all was good and in fact, it looked as if the condenser line from the furnace to the pump still must have had some debris in it as the new pump's outflow line was now clogged and backing up again. Eli, turned around, went back for his equipment and didn't leave until everything was working perfectly (another hour taken). I will gladly use Eli again the next time I have any HVAC issues and would recommend for other as well. read more

I had an issue with my AC unit during one of the hottest days of the year! I clalled all over and Eli was the only one who took time out top help me. He came out and examined the system thoroughly. Eli came out on a November Saturday afternoon, at about one hour's notice, to investigate a busted blower on our 40 year old furnace- and while I knew the answer was going to be that we needed to replace the entire unit (not just the blower), he was not pushy, sales-y or condescending, and very forthcoming with the facts regarding cost, safety, efficiency, etc. So keep in mind it is cold when said furnace craps out, and I need this thing replaced like right right now, and Eli says sure, we can do it day after tomorrow. I have been meaning to write a review since January of this year! This is my very first yelp review! It was during a very cold spell of winter and my heater was acting up. I did some googling, and found Elie and Comfort Zone Heating Team and gave a call. Not only did they answer, but he provided me with a time that same day, and arrived on time. He diagnosed my issue, walked me through the problem so I understood (which I love because I like to truly understand issues), and offered me some solutions. I ended up getting a new furnace installed the next day. He arrived right on time again, installed my new furnace in a tight space without issue. They even went above and beyond by making a few extra adjustments to my heating room and tightening a gas pipe that connected to my room below. I feel these days it is very hard to find someone to is great at communicating, is prompt, informs AND does great work. I found that in Elie and team and will be using them from now on!
