    Crispy Chicken Crunch Wrap
    Sylvia T.

WOW THE ENTIRE menu is so cool and everything on it looks so good and unique flavors. Love that they have all types of sandwiches like literally ALL and have cool sides and treats. I got the crunch wrap and it was honestly bursting with flavor and better than I expected. The tortilla was a bit mid but there was lots of avocado spicy mayo and chicken and tomato and all of it was integral to the flavor. It was super juicy and not dry at all which I really appreciated. And the crunchy piece inside made it not too mushy texture wise at all. If they used whatever tortilla son del north uses this thing would probably be one of the best things I've eaten in my life. FYI it's also MASSSSIVE. And for 14$ great portion size. I am so excited to comeback and try new things. Not to mention they have rotating specials!

Amazing sandwiches and comfort food at this LES shop! The original is in Astoria. Excited a second location opened across the bridge. The decor is fun and has happy vibes with nostalgia at every corner. We ordered two specialty sandwiches-the Texas Hold 'Em Patty Melt and White Lotus II. The unique flavors came together and elevated classic into a flavor bomb of deliciousness!

Food is so unique and good!!!!! The customer service is unmatched man. This guy will make you feel Like you're the only customer in the world, he's the best. Please come here and bring anyone you love!!!! Its worth the stop and its worth the time..enjoy!!

The best restaurant in Astoria is now in Manhattan. Nobody does beige food in a more fun and unique way than Donnie and crew. Get whatever fun new specials they might have plus the Cosmic Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich, Rainbow Cookie Crumb Cake, and any other desserts.

Came here for lunch and got the vegan breakfast Po boy sandwich and was very happy with it. The bread was surprisingly delicious it was warm and toasty and not overly chewy. I loved the addition of hashbrowns in it as well. I will say my sandwich was very ketchup heavy which i personally love but if you're not a ketchup fan maybe get it on the side. overall the staff here is friendly and the prices arent too bad. will def come back soon

But I had a craving one morning for some sugar and 'Dough' was on my way. I walked in and realized one of their donuts was going to at least spread out for over 2 days for me. The flavors looked so delicious. I decided to go for 'Toasted Coconut'. Amazing nutmeg-y finish and I have to say I love the yeastiness of the donut - did not feel like straight up sugar, but felt like a complex cake/bread - the sourness did come through. The donut has body and texture. My donut world has changed from now on. If I encounter donut people, I will definitely recommend this place. And maybe next year try one of their other amazing flavors. It did cost me $6.80 but I'm telling you these are gigantic - one for 2 people I'd say. The place is simple, cute and clean - standard NYC modern shop. So not much to report here.

It's a small shop, but it wasn't crowded, so I was able to see all of the flavors they had. The Hibiscus is what put them on the map, so I had to try that. Just so you know, I don't have any pictures of it because I ate it immediately! Don't judge me. 5/5 I also had the strawberry shortcake. Very fresh, nice texture, soft throughout. I reminded me of a strawberry crunch cake without the cake taste. I like donuts to taste like donuts despite the name and flavors. 5/5 I swear y'all I wanted the blueberry lemon with the oat crumble, but I had to get outta there before I ate another thing. I promised myself I would get it when I came back! Dough has delicious donuts that are thoughtfully crafted. Check them out. They have SIX locations throughout New York. Til we eat again....

Less lines, faster service…read more Of course after doing my typical research on Yelp for places to visit while in NY recently, I came across Peter Pan. That quickly went in the list of places I had to go to. I'm so glad I did. I went on a Sunday around 10:30am. There was definitely a crowd but it was minimal and organized chaos in a way. I did get the chocolate cake and original glazed with a sugar rise and a few donut holes. Everything was great. I could taste a little oil from being fried, but that's just my preference. Some people are ok with that. But let's talk about that sugar rise donut! Sugar rise was my favorite! When I bite into any donut covered in granulated sugar it better coat my lips like my chapstick. That sugar just sat on my lips as if it was just meant to be there. The staff were amazing. They were working hard getting orders taken and putting orders out. The interior was quaint and clean. Bottled water for $1 is a major win in my book! So thank you for that. Seating is limited. It's tiny in there. Great spot! Hit them up!

The shop has a retro vibe reminiscent of a 1950s diner, offering a wide range of pastries, sandwiches, and breakfast options, making it a beloved local fixture for over 60 years. During a visit to Greenpoint, Brooklyn, I decided to explore the local food scene. As I researched, this donut shop kept coming up as a top favorite among locals. My daughter and I stepped inside, and it was buzzing with activity. The place had a nostalgic feel, and it's a cash-only establishment. There are so many donuts to choose from, but my daughter went with a Red Velvet, while I opted for a Sugar Raise--a classic sugar donut because it was my first time here and I wanted something simple. The donuts were decent. The Sugar Raise wasn't extraordinary, but it was fresh. I gave my daughter's Red Velvet a try, but it didn't quite hit the mark; instead of a subtle cocoa-vanilla flavor, it was pretty heavy on the chocolate. The service was friendly, and I'm glad we took the chance to visit this longstanding bakery, which has been around for more than six decades.

Anyways, one order of the mini donuts, they are super customizable and if you need help picking and choosing flavors and toppings, the staff member can provide suggestions and pairings. I got the Ube and Pistachio and they both taste great, especially when they're freshly made and warm. I've also tried the Strawberry Covered Chocolates and those strawberries were massive. The problem with massive strawberries is eating them. If I had a knife, I could cut them into smaller pieces as eating them on a skewer stick got really messy. Also the strawberry itself overpowered any of the chocolate taste, so it didn't balance well in terms of taste. For sure favored the milk chocolate over the dark chocolate.

I was also eyeing the croffles because they looked almost like ice creams. You can get these to go or if you'd like to eat as you roam around, the owner will put them in a paper boat/container for you. She was so patient and makes all of her treats fresh it seems. Can't wait to come back to try the croffles!

I'm talking about an establishment that makes high-quality gourmet treats. As you can imagine, I was thrilled to see this one opening in the neighborhood last year. I have been to Caroline's several times since it opened its doors to the public. I've tried a few of their items, including the glazed twist, Boston creme, coffee donut, and strawberry filled. The glaze twist is one of my favorites. It's wonderfully sweet while not cloying, and I especially enjoy topping it with the Bon Mama berry jam I have at home. The Boston creme is truly made with love. It's sufficiently stuffed with creme and topped with a thick layer of chocolate ganache - the expensive stuff! The coffee donut is also delicious. Of everything I've tried, the strawberry filled was my favorite. You can tell their strawberry compote is homemade and not too sweet.
