So indeed I'd say Blue road does make a solid smash burger . The burger of choice was the " Boogie" which adds mushrooms and uses a steak sauce instead of a typical signature sauce . The burger was good but definitely not the best as it was missing the crispiness of a traditional smash burger with the patty being on the thicker side. The steak sauce while it did add some good flavor to the sandwich, it also felt like something was missing to take it to another level. I think an additional complimentary sauce or topping would've done the trick . The burger didn't really taste seasoned, it was like you needed to rely on the other ingredients to give it flavor. The brioche bun is also super sweet. I know some people like that but I'm not the biggest fan. It felt a little overpowering for the burger and just wasn't my favorite. It's not a burger I would order again. The fries were pretty good though. Well seasoned and well cooked. The staff were friendly, just slow.
