When I got the tire back, I noticed paint chipped off the rim, and there was something left inside the tire. They also charged $20, which would be reasonable if the work had been done cleanly--but it wasn't even balanced. Now I'll have to take it somewhere else to remove the debris inside the tire. I took my Honda into Affordable Auto in February because I was leery about taking it to Bud Clary. All of the lights on the dashboard would light up and the car would go into limp mode intermittently. I showed them the Autozone print out stating that the throttle body needed to be replaced. They claimed it wasn't the throttle body, it was some other parts connected to the throttle body. I trusted them to complete necessary repairs. The repairs costed $2,000. Not even a week later the issue returned. I took it to Autozone again and it stated again that the throttle body was bad. I had already spent $2k that I couldn't afford and they said it might be a bad steering rack. I took it to Bud Clary and they replaced the throttle body and I haven't had an issue since.

When I came to pick up my vehicle, it still had trouble shifting. When I asked them why it wasn't fixed, they told me the clutch wasn't the problem and it was fine, but they had replaced it...they charged me $1326 to replace a clutch that they admitted they knew was perfectly fine. Why didn't they call me before replacing the clutch? I had my car towed to another mechanic and it was correctly diagnosed. It was the transmission. I went to ask Ken and Brandon for details on why they chose to replace a perfectly good clutch. I had three simple questions and Ken and Brandon became argumentative. Ken used profanity and became physically violent. It escalated to such a point that I felt in danger and called the police. I cannot recommend Ken's Automotive shop to anyone. From beginning to end this was a terrible experience. Also, if you were a woman they will definitely try to take it vantage of that fact, and either overcharge you or intimidate you. I'm honestly shocked this place is still in business.

Oh my goodness, where do I start?! This was hands down THE best experience I've had at ANY auto…read morerepair shop. Wes was attentive, caring, honest and saved me time and money whenever he could, in whatever way he could, no matter how busy he was. I was visiting out of town from Bend Oregon when the AC in my car completely busted. It was a huge repair (compressor) and everyone I called was booked solid. I literally called and texted about 10 people to find out how I could get this situation handled so I wouldn't have to drive 4 hours in the blaring summer sun with no AC in my car. And no one could get me in. Except Wes Ducat at Steve Tire & Auto Repair. Wes moved his entire schedule around in order to get my car in and out on time, so I could get home safely without having to spend an arm and a leg on the repair. He graciously called and texted me whenever there was an update on my car and he worked his butt off to make sure I was taken care of.
